I closed on my new construction home in 01/2021. On 12/15/2022 I contacted Bill Clark Homes about a discovery at my home. Earlier that month, a delivery driver had backed into my garage door, breaking the door and damaging the door frame. In the course of fixing that issue, the wrap around the garage door header was taken off to be replaced as it was dent by the delivery driver. Upon removal, it was discovered that the header beam was water logged as it had not been wrapped and the caulking job done by Bill Clark Homes was poor,(visual gaps) allowing water to enter the cavity. The pics clearly show the caulking issue, the waterlogged header, and the water stains in the headers aluminum wrapping. Bill Clark has refused to do anything about this. Currently, the garage header is sinking as the header remains water logged. I engaged an inspector who corroborates that this issue, caused by poor construction would never have been found if the delivery driver had not backed into my garage until the header fell completely down. Note: The 2nd story above the garage depends on the header for support. I submitted these pics to Bill Clark Homes homeowner portal via a realtor. I followed up 6 months - 8 months later and now it's coming up on a year since my original complaint with no effort to come see the home, to fix the issue or attempt to contact me about this. I seek Bill Clark Homes to come to my home and replace the header or do something that ensures it won't continue to sag and potentially fall down causing expensive repair and and possible injury. Note: The Inspector pointed out that the water damage may be a bigger issue if it's moved above the header. Ignoring me and my home and pretending I haven't submitted anything to Bill Clark's homeowner portal is highly unprofessional. This clearly is a Bill Clark Homes issue due to poor construction and should be fixed by Bill Clark Homes as they are actively and prolifically building in the area.

There was a miscommunication with my office.  She was well out of our 1 year warranty so we didnt have to fix it but we told her we would anyway.  Someone will contact her and get it on the schedule (which was supposed to be done 2 weeks ago).
