On October 2, 2022, I submitted an order. There has been no action taken to fill that order—which has been paid for in full. Seven contacts via email to “customer service” have been ignored, given nothing but a canned robo “we’ll get to you when we can”. Initial telephone contacts met with voice messaging. It now appears they have shut their customer service line down altogether. Still, they send me repeated emails soliciting new orders. At one time, I had good luck with this business. I ordered a frame months ago. It never came. The business shut down their phones and has no way for customers to contact them. I complained via email many times and no response. Many reviews have the exact problem. They take your money and never send a product.Initial Complaint

I have done business with this company several times. I ordered a product from them two weeks ago and have not had an order status update after several attempts at their email and chat feature. They have disabled their phone at the business and have no customer care and will not respond to emails or chat requests. My product is paid in full.Initial Complaint

This company has consistently in the past year or more incorrectly processed orders and after a long period of time (weeks) rectified the order. The most recent order I placed on 9/6 and received on 9/23 had an incorrectly cut acrylic sheet and backing for a frame (too small). I received the entire order but have been unable to contact the company by phone, chat or email to get a replacement acrylic sheet ($58). Now their phone message says they have turned off their phones due to high email volume. Yet they continue to send out marketing emails and requests for reviews!! They charge 100% at the time of order instead of holding it until it ships. All I wanted was a replacement acrylic sheet cut to the proper size and shipped to me or a refund of that portion of the order. Will not ever use them again after 30 years. Had to go elsewhere to get acrylic sheet to display framed art for a show.Initial Complaint

I ordered 3 frames from this company on 9/26/2022. Order number *********. I received 2 packages from them via UPS with one frame in each box. Per UPS tracking numbers my order was listed as completed delivery. Tracking numbers ******************. And ******************. I cannot get anyone on the phone upon several attempts over several days other than an automated voice message that they are in training sessions. I have emailed their customer service 3 or 4 times stating I am missing one frame and only get automated responses that they will get to my concern.Customer Answer

I ordered a frame seven days ago from pictureframes.com. According to their site, BBB gave them an A+ rating. When I spoke with BBB, they said they are going to look into this complaint. Pictureframes.com wasted no time cashing my money ($151.39). The automated email stated that they would "send an order confirmation number detail and tracking number." I have been calling them repeated for the past six days. I get a phone message than they are all in a training session and can't answer the phone. When I try their chat line, no one responds. When I email them, I get a message that no order was placed (even though they cashed the $151.39). I often rely on the BBB rating before purchasing from a business. I can no longer believe the BBB rating. This company had 17 complaints in the past three years and five complaints this year. BBB said that as long as the company responds to the complaint, they can keep their BBB rating ... regardless of seriousness of the complaints.Initial Complaint

I purchased a frame from this merchant on 9/17/22 in the amount of $93. 87. Their shipping estimate said 3-5 business days. The order was time-sensitive, meant as a gift needed by a certain date. 13 days later - still no shipping or any other kind of notification, after initial order confirmation. Their Customer Support is totally unresponsive. I tried calling multiple times hoping for a status update and every time was getting an automated recording saying that “in order to serve you better, all of our agents are in training or in a meeting, please call later…”(!). The only time when I did not get this message I was put on hold for 60 min and then the call got disconnected. My multiple emails and inquiry forms submitted on their website never got answered. As if the company went out of business while still taking orders and charging their customers! I want my money back and also other consumers to be warned of this horrible business operation. I ordered a frame totaling $183.54 on September 11, 2022 from this company and it arrived on September 14, 2022. However, when I opened the box, the frame was not the correct dimensions to fit the 30x20 canvas print for which I ordered the frame. That same day (Sep 14), I emailed the company informing them of the incorrect measurements and requested an exchange or refund. I have yet to hear anything back from the company via email despite having sent now three different emails. I have also attempted to call the customer care phone number six different times during their stated business hours only to always get a pre-recorded message stating that the office is closed and to call back during business hours. I have since disputed the charge with my credit card company, but have yet to receive an update.Customer Answer

I ordered two frames on 8/28/22. The frames were delivered. The cost of the frames charged to my credit card were $260.49. During the ordering process I applied a $100.00 gift certificate to the order. A popup said the gift card was successfully applied. The gift card number was ************. The order number was *********. The gift amount was not deducted from my credit card bill and my card was charged the full amount of $260.49. I tried calling but nobody picks up even though I called during normal business hours. I have documentation for the above. I also still have the second part of a two frame order that was placed in July 2022 that had not been filled. I cannot find the order email or number.
