      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: 1. There own call log shows that a cleaner was not out within 30 minutes as stated in an email to us. We can't be expected to sit in the driveway full of dog poop with 3 kids for hours hungry from a long trip for the house to be cleaned top to bottom. The cleaning alone would have went into the night if they did it properly. It couldn't even be aired out because of broken windows that wouldn't say up. 2. There was no block of wood to lock the slider nor were we told of one. And that wasn't the only door that was broken. 3. We can't be expected to host contractor after contractor to fix all the issues. Which would have taken days. 4. They spent most of our conversations making excuses not providing help. Told us "what would you expect from a dog friendly rental". We have been going to The Outerbanks for years and never had a problem with a rental or a rental company.  We were filling back up our tires from this 4x4 beach rental in the dark. So nothing was done in a timely manner to make this place livable. We were unable to stay.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *****

issues. Especially if the doors don't lock. We shouldn;t be expected to pay this kind of money for a unit in this condition.

*** ***** complaints are opinion based in nature and in some cases untrue. It's our belief that Mr. Ayres was improperly prepared to rent a home on the 4x4 and was unfamiliar with the setting as a whole which is why he left before attempting to work through the issues he voiced.

Regardless, ** ***** has filed a CC chargeback which is now in dispute. Beach Realty plans to defend the claim to the full extent of it's legal ability.

Due to this elevation and short of *** ***** withdrawing his chargeback, there is nothing the *** can do to assist. Beach Realty is requesting that the *** close this conversation without penalty to the business as we both attempted to remedy his concerns while he was at the cottage and would have been willing to compromise after the fact.

      Thanks.

My grandfather had me book a reservation with this company. They would not allow him to book two houses in his name. So I had to put one in mine and he had one in his. My Uncle paid the deposits and we purchased insurance. However unfortunately my grandfather ****** ****. I tried to call and cancel today. They are saying I have to pay in full to cancel. I have never heard of such a thing. What is the deposit for? It’s all very strange and vulture like behavior on a family after a death. I’m hoping this can reach someone that can give a more practical resolution to this unfortunate event. I would like to cancel this reservation and be done with this company. I should not have to pay any remaining balance as I will not be staying there.

*** **** contacted us to cancel (2) reservations that were booked for October 2023. One reservation was in her name and the other was in her grandfather's name, ******* ******, who has ****** ****. She was told that both reservations would have to be paid in full per the lease agreement and our cancellation policy. She was upset with that response and felt that we should cancel them with *** paid since she was filing a TI claim and did not want to pay in full. One res is under *** ****** and the other is ******* *oth reservations have TI coverage. I have attached both lease agreements to this email. It is likely that *** **** and the estate of *** ****** will receive full refunds for their vacations under an insurance claim when they file.
