    The technicians that come out to your house are very sweet, that is about all you can say that is good about this company. When I signed the contract with Action. I was told if I had a problem, to just call and they would send someone out. I called the company and asked if they could send someone out, as I had a problem in my yard. (Action is 2.6 miles from my home) She asked me to send her pictures. I emailed her pictures. Her response was it was a lawn problem and I needed to contact a yard maintenance company. Well I found out it was grub worms. Action is supposed to take care of 20 feet from the house. Grub worms are scarab beetle larvae. To my knowledge beetles are bugs. The infestation is right outside both my front and back doors. I sent an email to her asking if they had anything to handle grub worms. I got no response. I don't know exactly how much contract is left with this company but they can have it! Update on previous review: ACTION PEST EXTERMINATING I received a letter from this company stating they were dropping me as a client after they read my review. They saw where I said they could keep the rest of their contract. How cheesy is that. That shows you how they handle problems that arise with their customers. Their letter was adding insult to injury. The letter stated they had informed me that I needed to get a lawn service. That was before I found out what was hiding in my yard. The email I received no response from was telling them it was grub worms. Now, like I said, they should have killed the bugs that lay the larvae. They are supposed to take care of 20 feet from your home.The thing is, I contacted pestex . His normal spray had those nasty little things coming up and dying for days. Very good service. If you are a client of Action and you change to pestex, you will be shocked at the difference in the performance and the results

    Action Pest is sorry you are not happy with the service we provide. To clear up a few issues / statements, you were a new quarterly customer and there is NOT any type of contract you signed or are under. You have the right to stop service at any time, as we have that same right. None of our thousands of quarterly customers have ever signed any type of contract for general pest control. We protect your home against ants, spiders, crickets, roaches, silverfish, mice, rats, wasps nest attached to your structure and many other general household pests. The only pests we would treat if found in your yard are fire ants. ***** worms, like earthworms, are in the soil and are considered to be an ornamental issue. Although there are products to treat them, these products will also kill other insects that are beneficial to the environment. This is why we instructed you to reach out to an ornamental specialist to address your current problem. Action Pest chooses not to apply granule products to an entire lawn due to the environmental issues. Please be aware we have acted responsibly with our replies to you.You received a follow up letter via **** to ensure you were aware we would not be treating your property for the reasons given above. We did not cancel your contract (as no contract existed) because of any review rendered by yourself. The letter we sent to you wished you well on finding a resolution to your lawn pest issue but your problem was simply not one we could ethically address.
