I purchased a TopTech TT-AKCELL-5 5" Repl Cell, *************** for a total of $164.25 on May 15, 2025. My card was charged at the time the order was placed and I was told to expect the bulb to be shipped in 9-10 business days. Filters Fast was supposed to send an email when my order shipped. It is now June 17 (over 1 month later). I have not received the replacement bulb or an email saying the bulb has been shipped. I called Filters Fast customer support line last week. The women on the phone told me the part is to be shipped directly from the manufacturer and should arrive in several additional weeks. I pointed out that the order was placed and paid for in May and would not be arriving until July. If the part does indeed arrive in July, it seems fraudulent that my credit card was charged in May. Where has my money been for all this time? If there was going to be a significant delay in shipping why didn't anyone reach out and tell me of the delay? I still don't have the part and as stated earlier, was charged for the part in May.Business Response

We are very sorry for the item being late and fulfillment of Ms. ********** order being delayed. We do not stock this item and Ms. ********* was informed correctly that the item will ship directly to her from the vendor. Unfortunately there have been delays form the vendor on this item we were unaware of at the time of order.
We did email Ms. ********* (to the email on the order) a notification of the first delay on May 30th and then we emailed an additional update on June 24th, when we were notified of the additional delay. Perhaps these emails were caught by a junk folder or inadvertently believed to be spam.
At this time, we are showing a current date of shipment for the item of Tuesday July 8th. We will be happy to cancel the order and provide a full refund immediately if Ms. ********* would prefer, or if Ms. ********* would like to keep the order as is, I will be happy to provide an additional $25 discount due to the unforeseen delays as a courtesy. Please just advise how you would like to proceed, and we will be happy to assist.
Again, we deeply regret the delays associated with this item and order and would appreciate being able to resolve in the manner Ms. ********* would prefer.Customer Answer

They sent the first one and it came broken so I contacted them and they responded in time and sent a replacement. When the second one arrived I inspected it and found that the 2nd one was also broken so I contacted them on Sat and haven't heard anything back from. Them I sent them follow up emails and not a single peep from them.Business Response

I apologize for the delayed response as the email from BBB did not make it to me. We have refunded ****** in full as requested. ****** is correct that his first shipment was damaged during shipping, as was his replacement shipment. We had a company email issue that delayed our last response, but we did email ****** on April 25th (attached below) asking if he would prefer another reshipment or refund and did not get a response. Again, we have issued a full refund.Initial Complaint

Like others have noted, I have been pummeled with spam from them at my domain for years. I've previously tried unsubscribing with no success. I've tried emailing them with no success. Also blows my mind that they think ANYONE would need THAT MANY emails about FILTERS.Given the number of complaints on here that they then respond to and magically fix the problem, you'd think they would care enough to learn, but evidently this is willful disregard.I finally decided to block them at the domain level, so hopefully that will cut the nonsense, but wanted to log yet another complaint here to make the further point.Business Response

We do apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused *************. I was unable to find the provided email address, ***************** in any of our systems, however I was able to find another email address for the customer based upon his provided physical address of ********************** and I did unsubscribe this email address from all email contact including marketing and newsletter emails, in case our emails are being forwarded to the email address ************** provided. I also unsubscribed both email addresses from Ad Shoppers, a marketing company we also work with, to ensure he does not receive these emails as well.
Again, we do apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused ************** and he should receive no further emails or contact from FiltersFast moving forward.Customer Answer

Better Business Bureau:I missed that I had forwarded the email to crusso@impeng,com from *********************** but when I attempted to unsubscribe it did not indicate to me that I was providing a wrong address, so it would be valuable if their system did that.
Additionally, I think it would be valuable for the company to understand that the number of emails they are sending on a regular basis is still completely unnecessary and they are receiving regular complaints about this and should reconsider their tactics. I have never once been so compelled by a company's behavior to go as far as to log a BBB complaint previously.
That said, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Like many other complaints, I can't stop the emails from coming. I have blocked the domain, also requested they stop sending, but daily, it appears in spam. Stop sending the darn things!Business Response

For over a year I have slammed with Marketing Emails from filters fast. I can not believe that majority of the complaints on BBB are over this inability for anyone to stop these emails. The block sender does not work and the opt out of these emails. I have emailed them and they just keep coming.I see that they have a cookie cutter reply to everyone that files a complaint but year after year they send the response but they don't fix the problem.I would NEVER go back to purchase an item from them because if they really do stop the spam emails I would just be afraid that it would start all over again. They have no intention on stopping this spam email attack and something really should be done. I attached my most recent email from filters fast.Business Response

For the last few weeks/months I have been getting spammed by filtersfast.com. I have tried unsubscribing multiple times, blocking sender, marking as spam, but I still get them. I don't recall ever buying anything from this site - not even sure where they got my email.Business Response

During Calendar Year 2022 advertising emails from Filters Fast started showing up in my email (aeropup@ ohiolink.net ) every day, unsolicited and unwanted, and now in 2023 the invasion continues. Sporadic attempts to "unsubscribe" have consistently failed, due evidently to some automatic function written into their email software so that it systematically rejects or ignores such return messages, so the unwanted ads simply keep showing up, every single day. How can any responsible business manager imagine that pummelling prospective customers in such a manner could have any effect other than resentment, and rejection of his/her company because it is seen as a pest rather than a potentially useful partner? Worse, his company comes to be seen not as a service or product provider, but rather as a bully, because its presence is imposed without relief or end. Even though their products are already present in the household and drinking water systems of my rural countryside home, their relentless invasion of my email system is arousing sufficient resentment that search for a competetive provider is under way.Business Response

We apologize for the inconvenience these emails have caused ********************* We are unsure why his attempts to unsubscribe have not worked as the process should, and we will continue to investigate this. To resolve this issue,I have confirmed the email address provided has been unsubscribed from all non-order specific emails (including all marketing, newsletters, etc). The only emails ******************* should receive moving forward would be specific to any future order placed. Again, we do apologize for this inconvenience.Initial Complaint

I started receiving marketing emails from FiltersFast.com a couple months ago. I never signed up. I never purchased anything from them. I want the emails to stop. I keep marking them as junk within Outlook, but they somehow manage to keep showing ** in my inbox. I have to delete one or more every day. I don't trust any unsubscribe links and I see that others have reported spam marketing email from them.Business Response
