  Save yourself the money and headache and go elsewhere, Barry Sims will leave you high and dry. We signed a contract in Feb 2022 and have been getting just excuses since. He took our initial deposit then excuses until until Feb 2023 when a work crew showed up for two days to start the work and convince us to pay the main draw for the project, and has disappeared since. Intermittently I hear promises about delays and the project getting completed but it's been sitting incomplete since then. They also didn't file permits for the project either which only I discovered in June 2023 after work had started, still haven't gotten those completed and filed. Others who have left positive reviews on google reviews in the last year saying their docks were completed must have been using my money paying to get their work done. He seems to be working down at the coast under the name "OKI Marine Construction" now, makes sense after he's screwed so many people here in the Lake Norman area.

  I went through all reviews and Lake Norman Docks was everything I needed. I contacted ******************* for my mother in law and gave him a deposit.After permits came back I called to schedule the build. I tried for a month and voice mail was full.He called and said she was on the board.He got the second deposit stating he was starting on a Friday in November. He sent pictures of the dock at the warehouse. I wanted to check out the dock so I called telling him I was coming over to the office.He informed me they used that on a different project. I have not heard from ***** since June he has someone else talking for him.From November to now nothing but lies and my mother in law has spent a lot of money. I dont recommend anyone to do business with this company. I dont know if all the reviews are true or false because he has called twice in a year that was for money.

  ***************************** Thousands of dollars off of ** in 2019 and left us with a partial build before walking away and not answering any phone calls or texts. We finally found another builder willing to come in and complete what had barely been started.

  Very sorry that you feel that way We do everything we can to please all of our customers. Unfortunately some customers just cant be pleased no matter what you do .
