The delivery men called the wrong number to let us know they were coming and were an hour early so we werent expecting them yet. Then they didnt introduce themselves at all just held the order slip ** in front of our screen door. When they were bringing in the washer they were arguing with my husband and I about taking out old washer and dryer away even though we paid the recycling fee. They didnt have it on theyre order but I told them I had the original receipt upstairs. While I went up for the receipt they started telling my husband they were the boss and could do what they wanted. When I came back down the shorter delivery man was almost nose to nose with my husband so I stepped in between them. By then they had decided not to off load our dryer regardless of the receipt. They did call my husband a cracker before they left because the two delivery men were African American. They then left with our dryer still on theyre truck even though we have paid on it.Business Response

We contracted with Lowe's to build a new deck on the back of our house. The 3rd party installer they hired to do the work took several months longer to complete the work than originally promised, then, immediately after completing the work, the transformer they installed to control the lighting on the deck stairs failed. I have been trying to get Lowe's and the installer to fix the lighting for nearly 3 months at this point - have called the installer at least a dozen times, visited the Lowe's store in person, called Lowe's several times - all to no avail. We are getting no information. The installer said we would need to file a warranty claim through the manufacturer, but Lowe's said that wasn't the case - however, neither is fixing the issue, or even responding.Business Response

Purchased a washer and dryer from Lowes online . The. Deliver and hookup was made on June 28th but when I ran my first load of laundry it caused a flood in my laundry room And the below ceiling to my garage . I have learned that Lowes hired a third party company , to make the connection and the young man , I later learned, had only been on the job for two days an incorrectly connected the washer which lead to the flood . I Reported to Lowes , and went to the local store, and they keep sending me to the vendor they hired . Lowes will not call me back after several requests for them to do so. Its now been almost two weeks and the vendor has still not completed the repairs- I have to keep calling the vendor to see if he will come out to do more work. Complaining to lowes customer care just gets me a manager will call you . But no one has called or left any messages. They just wrecked my home and left it up to me to try to address .Business Response

I purchased flooring and installation in early May. Over the next week, I discovered they had ordered the wrong baseboards and didn't charge me the labor for the baseboard installation. After additional incompetence at Lowe's, I decided to go to ********** and got a quote for comparable products for $1600 less. I cancelled the work and order with Lowe's immediately. I had never scheduled the work. I wanted a full refund and after waiting hours, I was told they couldn't credit the full amount and I would have to get the remainder on a gift card I would have to pick up. I just wanted a full refund. Then, I noticed there was a $800 balance on my Lowe's credit card for products and services I never received. After calling several times, no one ever returned my call. Finally, last week I spoke with a manager ***** who went over my account and found the errors. He told me I would have to stop by the store to get it resolved and I told him I would stop by later that day or the next day. When I went there the next day, I was told he was off. I gave the invoice information and item numbers and they refused to help me and told me ***** would have to help me. I left a message and he never called me back. I am paying the account because I don't want to be hit with interest charges, but I want a refund.Business Response

I purchased a gas dryer from Lowe's. It was delivered 6/17/2022. The delivery personnel installed the dryer. I was told the outlet gas connector they brought did not fit. They used my existing connector. Every time I run the dryer I smell gas afterwards. I called the corporate Lowe's number. A service call was scheduled. No one showed up. I then called the ******, ** distribution center that delivered the dryer. A service call was scheduled. No one showed up. I called the gas company/Duke Energy. They came out. I have a major gas leak because the dryer was installed improperly. No sealant was used at either end of the outlet gas connector. This is a very serious, dangerous error by Lowe's. On 07/05/2022, I purchased a craftsman mower 150cc. On 07/11/2022, I attempted to start the mower for the first time and the bail for the drive on the mower failed. I called customer service and was told as long as it is in "like new" condition, I can return it. I packed everything up, went back to the same store to exchange it for the exact same mower. I was told by the store manager **** that "because it has gas in it, they cannot take it". I pulled up the corporate return policy and it states to return any materials that contain lithium batteries and gases to a store and do not return by mail. He read this and continued to refuse the exchange.Business Response

On 6/16/22 they started the project, I was told I have to pay in full before the work is done. Which I did $ *******, they said everything will be done in 8 to 9hrs. I paid it all they didn't complete the job and left me without a gate and part of my fence is up I have been calling and been getting nothing but put on hold and broken promises. They refuse to get whatever is needed I explain to them I have a daycare and I am used to having my gate in the fence up and they also left my driveway with remaining materials and told them my neighbor are complaining.
