Garrett is really good to work with and this is the second building that I have purchased from them. The first metal building I purchased last year was a carport storage structure and it is very well built. Only issue I had was miss communication on when the installers would arrive. They arrived the next day and did good work. For the quality and price you get a good building for the money.Carport Central Inc.

We have just started the process but so far Mike G**** has been very helpful. We changed our design and he worked with us. Now we are waiting for a follow up from the manufacturer so we can get prints and get our permitting process started.Carport Central Inc.

Carport Central was contacted last year and my concerns were discussed because we were trying to erect an after school/ Multipurpose Community Building 40 X 50 (2000) square feet (capacity 132) for our child care program. I asked initially if they had metal buildings and was told YES, (In a later email after receiving $9K they said NO they don’t have metal). But they only have TUBULAR which is inhabitable per GC & Arcihitect. I told them my concerns of the Building Inspector and they asked for his number, I gave it to them, and they said they’d call me back. A few days later, they called back and said it was approved, they had talked to the BI. Excitedly, I sent payment, signed contract, they sent plans, (BI messaged me he had not talked to anyone/nor approved plans.)They Lied! I asked for the plans before payment, they said I couldn’t get plans until payment was made. FFW : JUNE to now they’ve been back and forth, will not refund my money on a building I can’t use for purposes intended. Have not contacted me from Nov 9 until Jan 11 asking if I was ready for the building? I’m like how? My dirt has been poured awaiting foundation since July 2022. Last week, I found out by NC General Contractor Licensing Board, both companies Carport Central /American Metal are UNLICENSED for projects over $30000. My building was $46,000. DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They are deceitful! A simple fix, you can’t service my needs, just refund my money. We have a whole group of under represented children and an underprivileged community waiting to utilize our building. CARPORT CENTRAL IS HOLDING UP PROGRESS BECAUSE WE CANT MOVE FORWARD WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING INSPECTOR. SO, THEYVE JUST HELD MY MONEY AND MADE 7 MONTHS OF INTEREST OFF OF MY $9272.40! OUR CHILDREN HAVE BEEN DEFRAUDED! OUR COMMUNITY HAS BEEN DEFRAUDED! I can’t make money turning parents away because we don’t have the building we need or our money back to get the building that is approved! They dont seem to care…Carport Central Inc.

We always want everyone to be happy with us and we try to be as transparent as possible, we do apologize you feel this way, however from our records the manufacturer was waiting on you, you were waiting to speak to your architect before you poured your concrete and that was on October 26th. The manufacturer had not heard from you since that date. Multiple individuals spoke to the county inspector Matt which he agreed our building could be used and our plans for the structural engineering , then on another occasion our engineering department spoke to you and your architect and your general contractor and they agreed the building could be built with our building with our plans for the structural engineering, but for finishing the rest of the structure out you would have to work with your architect and have architectural plans from an architect for finishing the building out. At first your architect and general contractor were not familiar with our structures, however after explanation was given, they agreed they could do it, they just had not at this point worked with our square tubing structures. Also our general contracting license is held through LC Contracting, LLC, and we are registered with the North Carolina General Contractors Board, and we have a license for building projects up to $500,000.00. We have not defrauded anyone, we have helped and offered to help all along the way. Furthermore we even offered other architects if yours did not want to work on the project. The last information we have was that the manufacturer was waiting on you.Review fromDaryl M

Our sales rep Michael Green was a power house in our quest for a garage. From the first conversation, we knew we were in good hands. He walked us threw the whole process, listened to what we had to say, and what we had in mind. He took it from there, gave us exactly what we wanted. Michael let us know what to expect from the beginning to end. Along the way when we had questions, he had answers. He was a pleasure to work with and I would have anyone who asks about our building to contact him.
The install crew was wonderful. Once here they worked in unison with each other. I was so impressed, they worked like a well oiled machine, each had a job and knew how to do it.
We could not have been more pleased with our Garage or your company.Carport Central Inc.

It’s early in my contract but So far I’ve had a good experience. Jordan has been working with me for most of this year because I’m also building a house on the property at the same time. I have made a few changes but Jordan responded to every call or text Promptly & without complaint . If the building part goes as smoothly as the designing and sales . All these places thar advertise metal buildings for sale and and installation......a lot are full of ***. they don't tell u they can't pull a permit. Carport central made my life so much easier. Jordan has been fantastic to communicate with. Very informative and never made me feel I was bothering him with all my texts and calls. Props to Jordan. I absolutely am convinced this company is out to serve the customer. Carl was very knowledgeable about their products and accommodating to what my needs were. Good professional service, communication, and finished product.
The staff in accounts receivable and scheduling were very professional and listen to my concerns and worked with me to make it an excellent experience.
The installation crew had some difficulty getting to the worksite because of a very tight close driveway. They were patient with me as I reroute them through a secondary entrance. Once on site and 5 hours later a profession carport was completed with 100% satisfaction.Carport Central Inc.
