Once the building was complete and passed inspection, we mailed a check for final payment. After 2 weeks the check has not been cashed and after repeated calls and leaving message we get no response. We simply need to know if they received check or not, so we can cancel check if its been lost or stolen and get them paid by another means. Given that Gabby(sales person) we dealt with refuses to respond and many of their poor reviews and BBB claims, we cant help but worry what they are up to. Are they tied in with the NC metal building dealer whose president was recently arrested(for the second time) for scamming customers?Simple solution Show the common decency and respect to your customers when they have a serious concern whether or not their payment is missing or stolen.

We sincerely apologize that the final payment has not yet been received. We have informed our accounting department to verify that no check has been processed, as we typically ensure timely processing of client payments. We also regret that the customer has not received a response regarding the payment status and are currently investigating our records to understand why there has been no notification.

I purchased an all metal garage from a dealer back in 2024. I was contacted in 2024 to make sure I had the site ready. I had the site leveled and ready in December 2024 and let the company know. However, it was in April 2025 before they showed up to install it. The reason I mention this is because I was told the site was not level when they came to install it. We had gotten a lot of rain during the months that led up to the installation, which was not my fault. I have several issues with this company.First Issue: The site was level and ready when I sent them pictures. It is not my fault that it was 4 months before they came to install. Second Issue: They showed up around 8:00 pm and I was working from home. They unloaded all their stuff and begin cutting several pieces of metal and even installed the floor section. They worked for over an hour and the *** asked me to come outside so I did. He began to tell me that the site was not level. The site was absolutely 100% level in December when I was told they were coming. Also, why would ANY builder remove everything from their truck, start building a structure and even start cutting metal pieces WITHOUT checking the site first thing when they got here?Third Issue: The *** told me it would cost $300 for them to make it level. I was upset and told him that I was just done with everything and I would have to wait and have it installed until I figured out what to do. He called someone and I talked to her while she was on the phone. She said I would have to pay a fee if I cancelled the contract. I asked her how much and she said she would not know until she was back in the office. I told her that if it costed too much that I would just fix the issue and still have it installed. I asked her if she could call me first thing the next morning and she said she would. She did not call me until after 5:00 pm in the evening! The ***s left the next morning and didn't even tell me.(Continued...)

    Business Response

We encountered an issue during the attempted installation of the consumer's building on March 5, 2025. The installation site was significantly out of level, by approximately one foot, which prevented us from proceeding with the installation. Our contract stipulates that the installation location must be leveled within three inches prior to the arrival of our installation team. While we understand that rain can impact site conditions, a one-foot variance is beyond the scope that allows for a safe and proper building installation.

We informed the consumer about the applicable restock fee of $1,200.00, as per our contract. However, this fee remains unpaid, and no payment has been received for the structure itself. As the consumer is a rent-to-own customer, payment is not collected until the building is successfully installed. The consumer did provide a deposit to an independent dealer, and they may be able to contact them for reimbursement. At present, we have not collected any payments and have incurred a loss due to the materials already fabricated that could not be utilized.

Please note that all our installation lead times are tentative, and we strive to install buildings as quickly as possible as per the terms of our contracts.

I am rejecting this response because:

The site was completely level when I was asked to get it ready back in December. However, the crew did not come out to install until 3 months after that. The crew started cutting the metal on-site as well as installed the bottom frame and worked for over an hour WITHOUT even checking the site. It was not until after over an hour of them working that they checked the site for being level. This should have been checked BEFORE they even unloaded their truck because after they cut and modified the metal, it could not have been returned to the dealer which voided any refund. I talked to someone that night and she said she would call me the first thing the next morning. However, I never received a call from her until after 5:00 pm the next day. No one from the crew even checked to see what I decided to do. Instead, they packed up and left without telling me. This whole experience was unprofessional. There were several issues with the installation process that should warn anyone against using this company. Blaming the client for what nature caused is wrong. I was told to get the site ready and it was ready 100% back in December when I was told. I was under the assumption that it was to be installed within a few days and not 3 months.

I purchased a metal building from American building network. It was built, Feb 19th, 2025, first rain after it was put up, there are 22 water leaks in it, corners, windows leak, doors leak, roof leaks. I called, emailed photos, they claim they didn't get the photos, then came back, yea, we got pictures. They scheduled a repair for March 13th, guy shows up, says the bottom siding is wrong, it's sits so high off the ground, water comes in. So, he call ABM, and then goes next door, and calks the windows, and doors in a building they built there, that leaks. Not as bad as mine, but, he leaves my building, that has 22 leaks, that he was supposed to fix, and fixes next door. I look around, he's gone, he left, didn't say a word to me, he was leaving, when, or if he'd be back, so, my repair appointment, I made, they fixed the building next door. ABM calls back, the next week, and schedules with me again, Scheduled a repair for April 1st. Day before, I sent an email, March 31st, confirming the appointment., April 1st, they emailed, said they'd call with a time they'd be there, the next day. 4:45pm, March 31st, they called and canceled, wrong siding was sent, have not heard anything from them since then. So, as I sit now, I've paid for a building, that has 22 leaks in it, I cannot store anything else in it, I did put a few things in it at first, before I knew it leaked. They are of no help to fix it. They say, March 13th, they we're there to access the damage, only, they had no material to repair. They had material to repair, but, they went next door, and repaired his, instead of mine. So, mine sits out back, rendered useless, and they won't even return a phone call. I'd like for them to fix my building, and I believe, and want, half of my money back. 7 weeks now, and this building is useless, 22 places it leaks. In 7 weeks, you could have had someone out, to at least fix the window leaks. But, nothing has been done.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/09/2025

In response to complaint #********, a crew inspected the leaks at the building to assess what would be needed for repair. They determined that additional materials were necessary for a proper replacement, necessitating a return trip to avoid any improper service.

The installers had other service work scheduled in the area, including installations at additional buildings, after inspecting Mr. ******* location. Mr. ***** assumed the materials on the truck were intended for his building, which we clarified during our recent telephone conversation.

We attempted to schedule a service visit for April 5, 2025, but Mr. ***** requested we not come then, as he would be out of town. He indicated his availability for either Monday, April 7, 2025, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Thursday, April 10, 2025, or Friday, April 11, 2025. We have since contacted Mr. ***** to inform him that the crew is scheduled to service the building on Friday, April 11, 2025, and we will follow up again to confirm and ensure it aligns with his availability.

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
This response, is all lies, they we're not there to acesss the building, They we're sent to fix it, chalk the windows, roof, doors. After the repair guy walked up to the building, is when he told me, it was not right, and we needed to call the office, namely *******. To inform her of new repairs needed to the building, the siding was installed wrong, which I told them it was wrong when they built it, but, they told me that's the way we build them. They then, said they'd come back out to fix the siding at another time. The guy next door, where they went, was NOT scheduled to be fixed that day, he came over when he saw them there, and they went to his house, and next door to him, So, with my appointment, they did nothing to my building, but, went to 2 other buildings they poorly built, and chalked their buildings. I asked why they didn't do anything to stop the leaks in my building, which was why they we're sent there initially,  I was told, they didn't have materials. But, they went and chalked 2 buildings "without proper material". They had what they needed to do a partial repair to mine, they chose not to. So, mine set there with 22 leaks in the building, while they repaired somebody else's. Even though, they had materials to fix some of it.

As far as the out of town comment, I was gone, I had ********* can't out of the blue call someone, 7 weeks after you do something for them, and have done nothing to fix it, and say, ok, we'll be there this day. Uh, I have a life, company in town, and babysitting my Granddaughter. How about giving me some options, or maybe, just maybe, doing the job right the first time. This building was an absolute pathetic build, right from the start, the anchoring in the future will also be a problem, which I have requested be fixed, and they refuse to fix it. They are now scheduled to show up at my house, April 11th, weather they do or not, is another question. They've been schduled twice since the build was done, Feb 19th, first time, they did nothing to fix it, 2nd time, they canceled on a Monday, approx 3:45, for an appointment the next day, after telling me first thing that morning, they'd call later with a time for arrival for the next day.

This building is useless, to this point. What's stored in it now, was put there before it rained the first time after construction. Since then, nothing has been moved in, due to the number of leaks, locations of leaks, and the poor response, and lack of accepting responsibility of the builder.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/15/2025

We have went and completed the service request on the building last week on Saturday April 12, 2025 and today on Tuesday April *******. Please find attached the pictures of the building showing that we have upheld our word to complete the service order for the customer.

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:

Time will tell, if it's resolved. They showed up at my house, Friday, April 11th, at 9:30pm, yea, that 9:30 at night, pitch dark. Neither person they sent, spoke English. They came back at 7:15am, Saturday, April, 12th. They did chalk the windows, and doors, replaced the bottom piece of siding. But, time will tell, if it leaks or not, until it rains again, I won't know. Is the issue fixed, won't know till it rains. But, they did do some work. They came back again, Tuesday, April, 15th, unannounced, to replace the corner pieces, that we're cut too short. At this point, I am 8 weeks into this building purchase, still, not able to store things in the building, for fear of how much water will leak into the building, and from where. When *******, from *** called and said they we're done, on Saturday, I told them they weren't, but, how could I tell them, cause they didn't speak english. She claimed they did, and they understood everything I was saying, so, I put her on the phone to talk to them, yea, she couldn't communicate with them either, turns out, there was a spanish speaking employee, in the office, that was talking to them, cause they don't speak english. Who in their right mind, sends someone out to fix something, that doesn't even speak english? So, until I have another wind and rain storm here, where I live, I won't know if the building is fixed.

I purchased a building from Bull Building in October 2023. The building cost approximately $12,000. Once the building was completed I noticed that one of the roll top doors was a little resistant to pull down compared to the other door. I called and asked someone from the company about that and they told me that was normal. Fast forward to March 4, 2025, I went to get my car out the building to go to work and upon opening it the right side of the roll top fell off the mangled pole holding the roller!!! I had to call a friend to help me put the roller back to its original position. This was the same door I had inquired about. I called Bull Buildings and they told me that they didnt make the building, American Builders did and Im out of warranty and I need to contact American Builders for further assistance. I have called American Builders numerous times now trying to get the parts needed for the repair and/or an estimate of the repair. American Builders never call me with the information promised although they continue to promise that they will. American builders keep telling me I will get a call by the end of the day or the next day and this has never happened. At this point they can just sell me the parts I need for the repair since their contractors are the ones that improperly installed the door. My issue is with Bull Buildings because they sold me this building not American Builders so Bull can at least attempt to get the information that I need since this is THEIR building partner instead of we got your money, now you are on your own. This isnt a good business practice.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/24/2025

Ms. ********* as you stated above in your complaint, Bull Buildings did not install or manufacture your structure, American Building Network did.  American Building Network purchases its garage doors from **********************  **** offers a warranty on its doors to the original purchaser for a period of one year. Upon receiving your first call about your door, we explained that Bull Buildings is much like a real estate agent, in that we do not build the houses we sell.  Builders and Construction companies build the homes, we learn about the needs of the customer and find homes that work with their budget and other needs.  In our industry, manufacturers do not sell directly to the public, they rely on companies such as mine to handle the marketing aspect and the consumer design process which is the most time consuming part of our industry.  We are very sorry that you are not receiving the service from American Building Network that you feel you should be.  We too wish that every customer complaint was handled with disregard to the contract that was signed and the warranties that were offered to you at the time of purchase.  Unfortunately, when our industry gets in these price wars that caused you to be able to purchase your building at such a huge discount, they are less willing to warranty items that are over 1 year outside of the stated warranty time frame. We love having the opportunity to offer structures to folks at such a great price, and as long as all goes smoothly, so do our customers.  In your case, ********************** does not authorize Bull Buildings to repair your door, or to make promises of a repair on their behalf.   We have reached out to them and asked them to make a repair for you, we have also asked that they disregard their contract with you and repair the door even after its warranty has expired. Unfortunately they decline my request also.  This decision will affect the business relationship between American Building Network and  their authorized dealer Bull Buildings.  We are very sorry that American Building Network and Asta Door have provided you with a door that has not met your expectation,  I am also sorry that Bull Buildings  does not have the authority needed to demand a repair, but the fact remains, in this realtor like role, we have not control over the construction aspect of this project.  We are very sorry again that your expectation have not been met, and will continue to pressure American Building Network, and Asta Door to offer a better warranty on their doors.

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: Bull Buildings is knowingly doing business with a no good company.  Therefore knowingly passing that no good experience onto your customers.  I choose Bull *********************** because I liked the set up of their website, the staff and the good reviews.   Now Im dealing with American Builders thanks to Bull Buildings and they are terrible.  I have been waiting for an estimate of repair or parts for weeks. Every time I call them they tell me to send pictures and they will call me back in a day and never do. Bull Buildings looks bad by doing business with an inept company like this. I was so impressed with Bull Buildings but now Im so disappointed. I never asked for a free repair.  I asked for an estimate for repair or to pay for the parts for the repair annd have someone else fix it. American Builders NEVER responds!!! So I guess the best solution would be to never do business with ************* because they do business with unprofessional companies that dont return calls.  Once you buy from ************* and your warranty is over and something breaks you cannot even pay for a repair or request to order parts because they do business with a company that practices bad business!  I will be filing a BBB complaint with American Builders also but I really dont think they care.  I cant believe that Im having all this issues for a repair Im more that willing to pay for!

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the difficulties you have experienced with the independent dealer, and we regret to learn that their service has not met your expectations following your purchase.

Concerning your attempts to reach American Building Network, we have conducted a thorough review of our records but have not been able to locate any missed calls or voicemails associated with your contact. Therefore, we are uncertain as to whom you may have spoken.

I filed a complaint about 2 months ago. They finally sent someone out to repair the roof that had been leaking. Now after another rain, the roof is leaking again. Now I've had to pull out the insulation inside the building. The leak has caused damage to the insulation.

We will be happy to go and address the issues again for the customer but have not even been made aware that there was still an issue ongoing as it has not been reported to our company to address. We will reach out again to Mr. ***** for documentation in regards to the leak on the building to put with our records and coordinate when we can send a technician to the building.

    Good morning,

Yes I received the initial email on 11/15.

And I thought I responded to that email. They also sent me a text message through their work requesting more pictures so I sent it to them and then never got a response back.

This has been an ongoing thing for a couple months and it seems the only way I can get their attention is to make a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. I just want my roof fixed on the building that they was paid to build.

    Thank you for your time,

    **** James

We have again went back to address the issue with the leak on December 5, 2024.The customer has notified that they believe the ridge cap on the building needs to be replaced to a bigger size. Unfortunately what is installed is the only size that we carry in this product so we are unable to do a bigger ridge cap on the building.

Unfortunately my experience from *** has not been a pleasant experience. It started with the design. One party saying they could build it the way I wanted and the other party saying no it couldn't be done. Finally compromised on a design that would work. After months of waiting, I finally received a call to schedule. I scheduled a start date, and the installers showed up on the wrong day with no call or heads up. They showed up unexpected and demanded my wife move the vehicles or we would be charged more if they couldn't park closer to the build ******* wife called me and I agreed to let them start. On the second day they were demanding I pay the balance before the building was completed. I denied that request, I already paid a deposit and what was in the contract and what the installer wanted was two different things. They had to come back a third day to finish. I requested that they clean up their mess and the hundreds of screws all in my yard and driveway. They did not do a thorough job getting up all the screws. Now, here we are 5 months after the build and my roof has been leaking when we get a heavy rain. The inside of my shop is completely finished, so now my insulation has gotten messed up and I believe there is mold and mildew growing behind the insulation. The company does not seem to care. I received a email about scheduling, then a call to schedule. They were supposed to call me back and schedule a day last week. No call and no show. If I was responsible for this job, I'd be sick knowing one of my customers roof was leaking. I would be at their house within 48 hrs. Not American building network, it's not a priority for them.If my roof is not repaired soon, the next place I contact will be my lawyers office.

I purchased a 30x40 x12 barn from this company now that we had a little storm for 30 mph wind gusts at 50 mph my building was distorted causing thousands of dollars damage from this barn collapse and blowing around into my home. I reached out to this company to discuss the issue that the barn was not anchored down correctly and Im wanting this taken care of all to be told there is only 30 day workmanship warranty. How am I to know it was anchored correctly without taking the barn apart Id never no. Now I can not get them to answer any calls or emails. This barn was put together in one day I thought they just worked hard now I know they put it together fast because it was not put up correctly it only had 4 anchors on the entire barn. And the company admitted to me that it should have 3 per side. Im out 27xxx some dollars on a barn and thats not what it destroyed that just the barn and I cant get the company to do anything about it is mind blowing to me. I will be contacting my attorney if this issue is not resolved

We had attempted to reach out to the customer several times to discuss the issue with the consumer but were not able to reach them. When they initially called in to make us aware of the situation we asked for the consumer to send us additional photographs of the building for documentation purposes. We did not receive those additional photographs until we were notified of an issue with the BBB. On Friday November 1, 2024 we were able to reach the consumer again to ask again for additional documentation in regards to the paperwork from the clients home owners insurance stating that they will not be paying the claim filed. Once we receive that information we will contact the consumer again to resolve the issue at hand.

I had a building installed 2 months ago and the 2- garage doors are not in the track. It took them a month and a half to get somebody to come out. since then i had a floor poured and they will not fix them. i am stuck with garage doors that do not work properly. That should have be installed right the first time. Terrible service!!

In response to the consumers issue with the roll up doors on the building that was installed in May 2024 the consumer initially contacted about an issue with the doors when the building was installed. The installation crew went back to the consumer the same weekend to inspect the doors to ensure that everything was operating properly to which point it was. The consumer then had concrete poured later which could have caused the tracks on the doors to expand and shift a little due to the concrete pour. A crew was dispatched to the consumers residence to inspect the doors to which they notified that the doors were operating properly and found no fault in the operation of the doors on the building. The crew has sent in a video and pictures of the doors operating properly which we have supplied the pictures but are unable to upload the video.

I am rejecting this response because:
They are wrong in their first thing saying that they came back out the weekend after the building was done they never came back out until the date of this complaint The garage doors do not go up properly they're hitting the screws that holds the track. they're not in the track and if somebody with any brains comes out here they'll understand it.

As we stated we did send the crew back out recently to inspect the doors and they stated that the doors are operating as they should. We will be happy to send another tech out to inspect the doors again if the customer would like us to.

Using carport central in *******, purchased a metal building. Cc hired this group AMERICAN BUILDING NETWORK, to build. When the build was completedafter several delaysI noticed an opening where the cement pad and the steel frame are supposed to flush. As a result of this negligent workmanship, mice entered my building, and chewed the insulation. See pixs. The builder, AMERICAN BUILDING NETWORK, stated the concrete pad was not poured correctly. But get thisthey did not tell me this, until my building was built! WHY WASNT I TOLD WHEN THE STEEL FRAME WAS FIRST BUILT! Talk about a lack of integrity! Plus, this indicates they were willing to LIE, so they didnt have to correct their workmanship negligence! Also, there were areas around the door frame, that had UNSAT work done by this builder. See pixs. Contacted this builder, and was told since the 30 day warranty period had passed, they would not correct any of their workmanship negligence - mistakes. Another indicator of that this group, AMERICAN BUILDING NETWORK could care less about you, the customer, once 30 days have passed. Individuals reading this review, with only a 30 day workmanship warranty, pay particular attention to the quality of the work, since they will not have anything to do with you after the 30 days have passed. FTR, the seller of my building, carport central, had verbally stated the workmanship warranty was ONE YEAR. AMERICAN BUILDING NETWORK, the builder, offers only a 30 day warranty, to not have to do a quality build. Thus, all readers, BUYER BEWARE, and ask for a longer warranty period.

The customers ********************** was installed in February and he had purchased his own insulation for the building to be installed. Upon arrival to the customers location it became aware that the insulation purchased was to run vertically and the building purchased was for horizontal. We incurred the cost of the additional material in order to make the insulation purchased by the customer work. Additionally we discounted the cost of rented pods that the customer used to store his belongings in while awaiting the installation of the building as due to the fact that he had purchased vertical insulation rather than horizontal we had to postpone to another time for installation. Customer made aware of the issue with the mice coming into the building in May as well as an issue with the electric openers on his building. At this point the customer was given a reimbursement in the amount of $1,630.68 for the issues.

I am rejecting this response because:

Inside the parentheses below in CAPS, is my factual input to ***s false statements.

PRIOR TO MY METAL ****************** BEING BUILT BY ***, ***s PARTNER, CARPORT CENTRAL, CONDUCTED A THOROUGH  REVIEW OF MY INSULATION LIST. CARPORT CENTRAL, *****************, TOLD ME THAT THE LIST WAS REVIEWED BY A METAL BUILDING INSULATION INSTALL PROFESSIONAL, AND I WAS TOLD THAT INSULATION THAT I HAD PURCHASED, WAS GOOD TO GO.

Additionally we discounted the cost of rented pods that the customer used to store his belongings in while awaiting the installation of the building as due to the fact that he had purchased vertical insulation rather than horizontal we had to postpone to another time for installation. AGAIN, REGARDING THE CLAIM THAT I HAD PURCHASED THE WRONG INSULATION, SEE MY PREVIOUS COMMENT ABOVE, WHICH DELINEATES THAT ***s PARTNER, CARPORT CENTRAL, TOLD ME THAT THE INSULATION I HAD PURCHASED WAS GOOD TO GO.

REGARDING THE *** COMMENT, WE  DISCOUNTED THE COST OF RENTED PODS, THAT IS MALARKEY.  THE REAL TRUTH IS THAT *** FAILED TO MEET THEIR TIMELINE TO BUILD MY METAL BUILDING. IN FACT, THEIR BUILD-INSTALL TEAM, EVEN BROUGHT THE WRONG STEEL ONCE, WHICH RESULTED IN THE TEAM NOT ACCOMPLISHING ANY WORK ON MY METAL BUILDING BUILD FOR ONE DAY.  THEY HAD TO PROCEED BACK TO THE *** HEADQUARTERS, AND GET THE CORRECT STEEL.

Customer made aware of the issue with the mice coming into the building in May as well as an issue with the electric openers on his building. At this point the customer was given a reimbursement in the amount of $1,630.68 for the issues. REGARDING THE MICE ISSUE, IT WAS POINTED OUT TO ***, THAT THE MICE ENTERED THE METAL BUILDING, BECAUSE OF NEGLIGENCE BY THE *** BUILD TEAM, SINCE THERE IS AN OPENING WHERE THE CONCRETE SLAB AND THE METAL FRAME SHOULD BE FLUSH. *** THEN TELLS MEAFTERREPEATAFTER THE BUILD, THAT THE CONCRETE PAD WAS DEFECTIVE. WTH? HELLOWHY DIDNT *** TELL ME DURING THE BUILD? VIPFTRTHERE ARE NO DEFECTS WITH THE CONCRETE PAD.

REGARDING THE $1630.68 REIMBURSEMENT COMMENT, THAT IS TOTALLY, FACTUALLY INACCURATE. ***s PARTNER CARPORT CENTRAL, GAVE ME FALSE INFORMATION, AND AS A RESULT, I WAS DUE A REFUND OF $1630.68.

IN CLOSING, *** NEEDS TO MAN-UP, AND FIX THEIR NEGLIGENT WORKMANSHIP THAT HAS  CAUSED THE MICE ISSUE, AND REPAIR THE INSULATION DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE MICE.

In regards to the consumers response to the fact that the insulation list was reviewed as stated the customer originally was to purchase a vertical sided building but then changed to a horizontal sided building due to cost at which point his list would need to be revised to accommodate the siding to run a different direction and this was not changed in which caused the issue with the insulation running incorrectly and our company incurring the cost to make the insulation that the consumer purchased work on the revised purchased building.

In regards to the consumers response to a timeline for the install of the building it was delayed originally due to the insulation issue and the crew needing to get different material to be able to install the insulation that the consumer purchased. This caused the consumer to have to rent the pods he was using for an additional month to which we discounted off of the building total cost.

In regards to the consumers issue with the concrete we do not specialize in concrete and therefore can not tell the customer that it was incorrect. We also discussed this on the phone with the consumer and made aware that again we do not pour the foundations that the buildings are installed upon so we can not say that it is incorrectly poured nor are we able to correct any issues that may arise with foundations.

I am rejecting this response because:

For all BBB readers…as a preface to my responses below in CAPS, to the 3 irrational and false comments made by American Building Network (ABN), Mt Airy NC, let me state for the record, ABN is not trustworthy and lacks integrity. Thus, it is HIGHLY recommended, repeat, HIGHLY recommended, to not conduct business with ABN.

With this said, in CAPS below is my factual input to the following 3 ABN irrational comments.

ABN comment 1 : In regards to the consumers response to the fact that the insulation list was reviewed as stated the customer originally  was to purchase a vertical sided building but then changed to a horizontal sided building due to cost at which point his list would need to be revised to accommodate the siding to run a different direction and this was not changed in which caused the issue with the insulation running incorrectly and our company incurring the cost to make the insulation that

the consumer purchased work on the revised purchased building.

MY RESPONSE: YO…ABN…QUIT LYING ABOUT ME PURCHASING WRONG INSULATION, WHEN YOUR BUSINESS PARTNER CARPORT CENTRAL, CONDUCTED A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE INSULATION THAT I WAS PURCHASING, AND STATED ALL ITEMS WERE CORRECT. WITH THIS SAID, YO…ABN…CONTACT CARPORT CENTRAL AND STOP YOUR IRRATIONAL WHINING TO ME.

ABN comment 2: In regards to the consumers response to a timeline for the install of the building it was delayed originally due to the insulation issue and the crew needing to get different material to be able to install the insulation that the consumer purchased. This caused the consumer to have to rent the pods he was using for an additional month to which we discounted off of the building total cost.

MY RESPONSE: YO…ABN…AS PREVIOUSLY STATED, I HAD ORDERED THE INSULATION THAT CARPORT CENTRAL APPROVED. THUS, TELL THE TRUTH! HELLO…QUIT LYING ABOUT ME, AND DEAL WITH THE ENTITY THAT ACTUALLY MADE THE MISTAKE > CARPORT CENTRAL. GET A GRIP.

ABN comment 3 : In regards to the consumers issue with the concrete we do not specialize in concrete and therefore can not tell the customer that it was incorrect. We also discussed this on the phone with the consumer and made aware that again we

do not pour the foundations that the buildings are installed upon so we can not say that it is incorrectly poured nor are we able to correct any issues that may arise with foundations.

MY RESPONSE: WHAT ABN IS STATING REGARDING THE CONCRETE, IS ANOTHER BOLD FACE LIE. THERE WAS IN FACT NO ‘CONCRETE ISSUE’. THE TRUTH IS THAT ABN WORKMANSHIP IN CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING WAS NEGLIGENT, RESULTING IN THE GAP BETWEEN THE ABN STEEL FRAME AND THE CONCRETE.

IN CLOSING, YO…ABN…I PAID ALMOST $30K FOR THIS SUB-STANDARD CONSTRUCTED METAL BUILDING. ABN, YOU FAILED MISERABLY TO SATISFY THIS CUSTOMER. UNTIL ABN CORRECTS ITS NEGLIGENT WORKMANSHIP, ON MY METAL BUILDING, I WILL ENSURE MY SOCIAL NETWORK KNOWS NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH ABN.

I have had good and bad experience with ***. It started with there authorized dealer colt buildings which has a terrible reputation and reviews (I learned that after the fact). **** sold me empty promises and totally botched up my order. but *** did step in and help fast track process and square away everything and got my building out and up. Had a few hiccups along the way as the crew they sent spoke zero English and had no idea how to read a blue print as they erected my building backwards to do the fact they were holding the plans upside down. Then all the windows and door openings were off due to Colt never updating my file and wrong siding. Which they were amazing and had it resolved in 2 days which was great. But now I ran into an issue when my contractor sent his crew in to frame and I have windows on one side that *** installed in wrong spot about 5 feet off where the plans says they need to be. So I sent a 2 very informative emails explaining my issue as it threw off the whole layout on one side of house and I have not received any feed back which drove me to this review. I do expect compensation on this as we needed to resize my childrens bedroom and they all down sized immensely which will carry through for the remaining years we are in this house. Also when the *** crew measured for the height of all the exterior doors they took height measurements off incorrectly so I have a 3 inch gap over all my exterior doors/patio sliders which I need resolved via contractor at a cost. Im very displeased with the lack of urgency. I will say the communication is not up to par as I have several email threads with *** complaining about the communication issues.

We do apologize but during the installation of the building in April the customer was on site and reviewed all measurements with the crew while installing which is how some issues were corrected promptly. We have already incurred several loses while we were installing this building due to not having all the correct information as stated prior to beginning the project and changes made that were not given to us accordingly. We remade the building framework promptly to the specifications given and immediately sent the crew back to the residence to install the building at our expense as well as incurring the cost of sheet metal to satisfy the customers needs.

I am rejecting this response because:

As stated in my complaint, your authorized dealer has several scam alerts and ******** pages and BBB reviews linked to him Colt builders (****) his end is the reason ABN didnt have a completed updated file. Which I stated in my complaint that I am grateful for you fixing the headers and siding layout. But the installers had no idea what they were doing, if I didnt stop at the site day one they would have had the whole frame up and backwards as (*****) was lead man and had plans upside down hence why the all the slider patio doors were on wrong side. After they disassembled and took back to ** to fix it they came back and had me measure the headers to confirm width and heights of window frames not placements of windows. They are working off plans provided by ABN for you to say to me the customer is responsible to babysit your installers to ensure they can read your plans and place openings in correct place is unreal, unprofessional and unexceptional. I now have to deal with having two oversized bedrooms and 1 obviously much smaller bed room for my 3 children (that will be a great conversation down the road which kid gets the tiny room) I am totally taken back by the lack of responsibility and respect being shown towards a paying customer. I had to resort to using a 3rd party to get a response as your office has ignored my emails.
