    ***************** called see if they had time for a inspection. They said yes. Went and a guy looked at it charge me $20 and said he couldn't do it because the inspector wasn't there id have to comeback the next day.. so I did and inspector didn't come in... Went somewhere else.. management service it's all garbage

    What location ( address) did you go to? What # did you call ?  Our inspector( which is a woman)is there everyday but takes a lunch break for 30 minutes a day. Nobody at our location took $20 from any of our customers and didn't perform a service on the vehicle ? Can you tell me what color the building was that you went to?  We have a Valvoline shop up the road that is doing this and my company is getting the bad reviews for them.

    On July 25, 2022, my husband and I came in with out ***** 3 to be inspected and afterwards have an oil change. We waited in the lobby like instructed for them to finish. Afterwards, the technician asked us to follow him to computer to pay instead of just having the card reader with him. We shrugged it off and followed him into the garage bay where they kept the computer. While following the technician, the garage door fell into my husband's head. The female technician asked if he was okay and he said "No, I'm bleeding!" Luckily it was just a small scrape, no bumps or bruise. She turned around and shrugged it off. The other tech just watched us and said nothing. The one we followed apologized and said that the other guy didn't see us and dropped the door down. At this point, I'm fuming. My husband was injured and no one offered a first aid kit or cared a customer was injured because of carelessness. We left without getting the oil changed; I seriously do not want to give them any more of my time or energy after this incident.After a day of thinking the event over, my mind keeps going to why did the door not stop and retract after it hit him? What if that was a child that got hit? This seriously needs to be addressed.

    I'm sorry this occurred. This situation has been addressed with all Speedlube's employees. The lady also apologized after asking the gentleman if he was okay. Your husband never told anyone he was bleeding. He told her no this isn't cool guys! You may of not of heard her due to the tech cashing you out and also apologizing for the accident. After this review I also asked everyone about offering a first aid kit and their response was he wasn't bleeding, they only seen a red knot on his head. The door was over halfway down when your husband went under the door. The door just didn't drop. We have a button we push so that the door comes down. The tech that pushed the button had already said doors coming down but from talking with our tech who cashed you out says he didn't hear him or even see the door coming down. As for children in our shop we walk behind the children and parents so they don't fall or get close to our pits. Again, I'm sorry this accident occurred.
