  Signed contract with business 5/2023. Owner asked for down payment and became unresponsive to requests as to when project would be completed. We were finally able to get the project started the end of June 2024. We were told that the project would take approximately 4 days to complete. It took the crew two weeks to take down old deck and put in new footers and framework. Owner then asked for additional money to purchase decking supplies, railings and lights. Check cashed immediately and was told we would be contacted when materials in to complete the project. This was on July 5th. The dumpster is still sitting in our driveway and the owner has been unresponsive. Finally had to get the owners dad involved. Owner out of state and finally responded and said I could go ahead and take legal action. Im now dealing with the *** asking me why this project isnt completed.

  I contracted Triangle Deck Builders to remove my prior deck and build a new deck.I received notification from the ***************, ** that the permit was still outstanding as several inspections had not been completed. As the deck had been completed, I scheduled an appointment with the inspector. When the inspector arrived, he noted that the deck was completed and that the footers had never been inspected and the deck build should not have been completed prior to the inspection being approved. He also noted that the deck would not pass final inspection due to a fault in the build of the staircase.I left multiple messages with the project manager ***********************, with no response. I eventually received a call back from ***** in January who stated he was the owner of the business. He provided nothing more than excuses and was rude but stated he would get it resolved. He even called the city inspectors idiots.At the end of March, I received a notice from the Cit of ******* ************** that my permit would be expiring soon. In checking the online portal, I discovered that nothing had been done to resolve the issues and that there was now $254.00 due that needs to be paid before being able to re-schedule the inspections required.I just want Triangle Deck Builders to complete the steps and necessary work so that the inspections can be completed and that the deck passes final inspection and meets the building code.

  I signed a contract to have a new deck and patio built in September 2021. The project was slated to be completed in March 2022. There was little communication from the company, we never received a design plan, HOA approval, or permit. The owner we worked with was rude and disrespectful. After our agreed upon project start date passed, I informed the company that we no longer wanted the work done and wanted a refund of our deposit. I was told it would take time to gather the money and then never heard back. I hired a lawyer who sent them a letter requesting refund and again never heard back. I am just wanting a full refund of the down payment I made on a project that never happened. Refund amount $9075.
