Overpriced and lacking follow through. After spending $14,000 on a new unit, I have had 3 service calls in 3 months. Now when I call, I get the same response, Ill pass the request along and have received no updated and meanwhile it is 84 degrees in my house.

The ******************* and warranty had already come with the house when we purchased it, all we had to do was keep up with the yearly warranty payments. Fine, we kept up with it and it covered our unit decently well, but in the two years we've owned the house, the compressor has gone out 4 times. FOUR TIMES IN TWO YEARS! The first two times they had the part orders and fixed within the week. The last two times have been a train wreck, we've currently been without AC for OVER A MONTH as they have not been able to get a new compressor because it had to be manufactured. At this point we are wanting to discuss with management how to use the manufacturers warranty to get a whole new unit as we should not have needed a new compressor this often. We have called and no one from management is able to give us a call back. No one in the office is able to give us a number or email for the manager so we are helplessly waiting for them to respond to us. The office employees are able to take messages, but other than that there is no follow up for returning phone calls. I get attitude when I call to check on the status, when I call to see if the manager is in, when I ask for transparency regarding the repair. I would not recommend this company.

I used this company to replace my furnace and a/c with more energy efficient models. I was very impressed with their knowledge of the industry and which brands/models I might consider. My January heating bill dropped from $250 to $140, and my August cooling bill is never higher than $65 (I have a 1,500 sq ft house). In 6 years I have never had a problem with my units and when I want a tune up, 6 and fix is thorough and professional. I really recommend them.

I would give less stars I would. 12/24 my heat went out, they can fixed issue & I was certain moving my business would be a good idea. I waited a couple days to call to schedule the full repair - spent 1.5 weeks trying to get an answer on my quote $300/$400 about. Finally get scheduled after repeating the scope of work each time I called. Tech comes out, doesnt complete the work as asked drains my systems directly into my crawlspace by my foundation! I call complain email get tech out again, discuss issue, in alignment & he said they would call me to schedule. A week later I have to call to be told I now need outlets moved and additional services triple the price!! I was able to get a 2nd opinion to find the drain pipe was not connected correctly and leaking into unit. The tech came today fixed my pipe back & insulated as originally requested. He was awesome! I asked him after I review the work, did I need outlet because we never had discussed, point blank says no they are trying to upsale oyu on heat tape w a thermostat which has a high risk of fire so I would never install it. So my experience is a small repair was repeatedly over adjusted to try to obtain higher repair service not needed. While the office people are nice, having someone repeatedly say they answer phone dont do work leaves you with no explanation of scope changes. Ive asked for a refund as its turned into a clear attempt to exploit me and if I had not been diligent would have left me with damage to my furnace, foundation & mold. They may be great at same day service but it seems to have ended there...

Stay away from this predatory business.
Two weeks ago one of my AC units stopped working. Someone from 6andFix came to service it for $900, but said that the system needed to be replaced given a leaking evaporator coil and the overall age of the unit.
The following day a supervisor / sales person visited to quote for a replacement unit. Here's what you should expect:
    1. They will not schedule an install without a deposit, which is NOT REFUNDABLE. The deposit, in my experience, was entirely arbitrary, i.e. did not explicitly need to be some minimum amount to cover permits, equipment, etc. When I cancelled my install less than 24 hours after leaving the deposit they decided to keep the whole, arbitrary value, which I was encouraged to make $1,500.
    2. You will hear a lengthy sales pitch about how refrigerant always leaks, is expensive, and you're better off paying for it up-front as part of their "Bumper-to-bumper" warranty plan. This doesn't transfer with sale of the home and makes the total install more expensive.
    3. You will see "Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze" tiers to guilt you into paying for the "superior", more expensive units that are probably more efficient than you need. If you consider a competing, more affordable offer, it will be implied you're getting a sub-standard unit.
    4. The pricing is not transparent whatsoever, and if you ask for an itemized breakdown of the cost the sales person cannot give it to you because it is sent in by corporate electronically. The $500 I spent refilling the refrigerant of the to-be-replaced unit was supposed to be credited towards the new unit, but when we asked for where this was factored in we were given a vague answer. Feels to me it fell through the cracks between the technician and sales person.
    5. They will only try to sell you a single, lesser-known brand of AC units because it's what they already have in stock in bulk, and because of the 12-year warranty that comes with it. Only after trying to cancel did the
