    I hired JWatson Irrigation & Lighting (Son's Of Jacob LLC) to service and expand my current irrigation system as some areas did not have coverage and to add 3 new zones as I had expanded my lawn. The work (as per the quote) included replacing all necessary rotors and spray heads with MPR nozzles, all necessary PVC for expanding the irrigation area, replacing 3 Valves and Valves boxes, covering trenches with soil and laying centipede sod on all trenched areas and this was to be completed in 3 days i.e. ***** July 2024. To get my business, ****** ****** lied that he is licensed, insured and all his work comes with a year of warranty. I hired and paid him $2000 as deposit amount on 3nd July 2024 since he promised on 2nd July that the work will be finished in 3 days: ***** July 2024. It is January 2025 now but he has not done even half of the work, despite taking an amount of $3750 from me and the work he did do is very low quality - many huge areas still do not have sprinkler water reachability, no head to head coverage, broken and badly installed sprinklers that barely throw water, sod laid recklessly, left several trenched areas without laying sod, also he broke existing irrigation pipes causing huge water losses and left huge holes unfilled along with valves and valve boxes not replaced.Despite agreeing to replace ALL SPRINKLERS in his initial quote, he forced me to pay him $250 extra for those sprinklers. He refused to replace the valves and valve boxes despite the quote included the cost to replace them.I requested him multiple times to finish work, rectify the mistakes he did and then set a deadline for him of 14 November 2024 to complete the project, which he didn't meet. The cost for me to hire a real professional to rectify his mistakes and complete the work he left is twice of what I paid him. I have filed a complaint against him in ** Irrigation **************************** for Unlicensed Practice as well as will file with NC Attorney General.
