As others have described, it's very similar to a timeshare including the well orchestrated sales pitch. I have been in healthcare my entire career and was skeptical of body scans having discussed it with providers and reading clinical journals. But, my wife had some legit concerns around her heart and lung due to family history so we thought the $149 couples heart/lung scan was worth it. Then they presented us with options to pay in advance for 8 or 12 years of annual scans that where in the area of $2,500/year. What a joke. For those not in health care but who have seen a CT bill from a hospital or imaging center, this may seem reasonable. But for those of us that understand negotiated rates, this comes across as a total scam with incredible profit margins. I'm sure a small % of customers have benefited but I am confident that traditional methods including annual physicals provide the health security most desire.

My husband and I signed up for a heart and lung scan at a home show and paid $79. We were told there would be a 90 minute presentation. We showed up at 11:30 a.m. for our appointment. We walked out after our heart and lung scan at 2:00 p.m. Part of the time was spent convincing the very nice salesman we really only wanted the heart and lung scan. We are in our 80s and didnt want to commit to a payment for 8 years of scans. We felt like we were dealing with a time share salesman. We want to see if the heart and lung scan shows any anomalies. We might have bought in if they offered a second body scan in a year with the option to schedule another one at that time.

We signed up for a heart/lung scan at a home show. They talked ** into a full torso scan and a 8 year plan playing on our emotions at the time. I was submitted to additional testing through my PCP care team costing thousands of dollars out of pocket to disprove the original scan. We tried then to cancel the plan which was financed and, after 2-3 weeks of phone calls, was able to get it cancelled but still had to pay a grossly inflated fee of $4900+. The original heart/lung scan was going to be done for $149 per person, but a torso scan suddenly goes up to almost $2500 each for a less than 10 minute scan? Our opinion is that Craft could easily be related to time share condo sales people. Buyer beware, don't do it.

So I'm sure the imaging is great. If you can sit through it over an hour those pitch when you buy one of the $79 heart and lung scans. If you've ever sit through a timeshare presentation you'll be very familiar with the pressure tactics they use.

My experience: My husband and I arrived on a Friday afternoon for the heart and lung scan and were told that there would be a 90 presentation. We were escorted by our salesman, *****, to a hallway with over sized anatomical posters as ***** spoke of all the things that can go wrong with the human body. He lacked the knowledge & professionalism to be anywhere near healthcare. After going over the posters and saying scary things he lead to his office where we were seated and presented with more scary scenarios. He followed that up with his "life saving" annual membership options then mentioned that he needed to step out of the room for a bit. My husband and I, both seasoned sales people, laughed and commented that we were sure they were listening to our conversation. The whole thing was so used car sales-ish.
My husband received his results in the mail a week later but mine never came. When I called to ask about it they sent me to some nameless voicemail. I called back a week later and we were "accidentally" disconnected. These folks should not be allowed anywhere near the medical community. It is sad that they allowed to operate with such an extreme lack of knowledge or care.
