1 starI would not recommend buying any car AT ALL from any leith dealership. I purchased a vehicle from them, that had several mechanical issues that were not disclosed. I am aware the dealership knew these issues existed because I found the previous paperwork hidden in the car months after purchase. When trying to address issues with them I never received even a phone call back!Review fromGeorge R

As a returning customer with great credit I had to sign a loan at a high APR. They made it seem like i was getting a competitive rate, finding out after the fact that it was indeed not a good rate. I got scammed, they're money hungry. They don't care about the customer. I DO NOT recommend going to them for any business.Leith Inc

1 starI wish I had never stepped foot on a Leith **************** car lot. I recently purchased a 2011 ***** from them and it has been a trying experience from the purchase up to present. I drove 2.5 hours to look at this car intending to pay cash. When I eventually offered to buy the car, I was told "I have to show you this video" about Armorall protection for the car. I went along with this nonsense to keep the peace and get out of there. I then was told he had to confirm I wasn't a terrorist by checking some list the dealer apparently gets from law enforcement. The salesman proceeded to pull up a ***** page PDF document and I had to wait for him to scroll through it to ensure my name wasn't on it. Insane.During my walk-around of the vehicle, I saw that the liftgate spoiler was badly faded and needed to be repaired. I asked if they could come down $150 on the price and was flatly told no as this was a "no-haggle" dealership. The sales manager offered to have the dealer repaint the spoiler at their expense...but I had to bring the car back to them to get it done. After waiting over an hour to see the Finance Manager and pay for the car, I was escorted to the *************** where I was subjected to more upselling and told "we have to present these options to you" before I could pay for the car. After listening to a 15 minute pitch asking me to spend an additional $3,000 on upgrades, I declined and I finally got taken to the Cashier. I didn't have the car 24 hours when the power steering pump started to whine like a scared cat. I immediately called the sales manager the next day and made an appointment to bring the car back to have that fixed along with rear spoiler. Fast forward to yesterday: the power steering pump the dealer installed has started to whine like the original part. I just got off the phone with the General Sales Manager and was told he could not authorize the car to be repaired at another Honda dealer outside of their network.Review fromAngela O

1 starI spent 2 hours at a Leith dealership, purchasing a new Bronco. The salesman was great. I explained to him that my registration card still displayed my old car (which I had actually SOLD TO THIS SAME LEITH DEALERSHIP less than a year ago). When I sold that car to Leith, I simply pulled the tags and put them on the car I would be driving and had everything transferred over through NCDMV. When I went in to purchase the Bronco, I explained all this to the salesman BEFORE he submitted the deal to his sales manager. He said the registration card not being updated was not an issue, and walked outside, looked in the door jamb of my car, and wrote down the CORRECT VIN number from inside. Management then went outside and did an assessment of my car, themselves. Looked all through it, drove it, then wrote up the deal to include the trade allowance they came up with. I had already turned my keys over to the sales manager, and I waited to see the finance manager so I could sign the paperwork. The new car had been taken to be filled up with gas and to be washed, and I finally sat down with the finance manager to sign the documents. As I was signing the paperwork, I discovered on the trade-in sheet that the sales manager used the PREVIOUS vehicle (which had already been SOLD to them MONTHS ago), and he had based the numbers in the deal on the previous car, not the current car I was trading, regardless of the fact the salesman wrote down the correct VIN, year, and model. Almost 3 hours into the process, when I discovered they had used the wrong car, the deal was immediately rescinded. They did not try to make things right. They did not even apologize for their error. This is not the first issue I have had with a Leith dealership, but I can assure you it will be the LAST. I will NEVER darken the doorway of ANY Leith dealership again for ANY reason, and I will also make sure my friends and family know what they did as well.Review fromDavid K

1 starI leased a car from this dealership on 8/31/23 During the third week of October I hit an object in the road that I could not avoid. This did no effect the drivability of the vehicle. When I stopped, there was cosmetic damage to the front of the car. On October 27th, I drove it to Raleigh (I live in **********) without difficulty. I had twice been told that I would b given a loaner should the car ever need to be left there for servicing. When I arrived, I was told there would be no loaner so they sent by **** to the airport so I could rent a car to return home.It is not 6+ months that the car has not been repaired with multiple explanations and promises made (and broken). To say I'm disillusioned is a gross understatement. I want them to buy the car back and reimbursement for the $5000+ I've spent for lease payments, insurance, taxes. etc. I feel like a damned fool, courtesy of this dealership. ***********************Review fromArpit P

1 starI would not recommend anyone to Leith Chrysler Apex location to anyone. Sales worst experience, I had to buy plus it was car shortage so I made the deal or else I would never step that place again. The worst part is service, purely unprofessional people. Plus bunch of liars there. Do not make any business with this dealership.Review fromPamela S

1 starPurchased from Leith 2/24/24 Buyer Beware! Please read before you purchase from this dealership. They surround themselves with the paper you signed Sold As Is Which is fine if they didnt already knowingly set you up with a check engine light. Unfortunately for me, I was purchasing in Raleigh,NC and lived 95 miles away. This made it so I couldnt have my mechanic check this out before purchasing. THEY GOT ME! There appears to be a pattern of the corporate wide way to handle customer dissatisfaction. They are slick, dont believe their hollow words. Its one thing to buy as is. And its another to turn off a check engine light so it passes the emission control and have it come back on 140 miles after their safety inspection. This is their cover for themselves. My mechanic said that there is NO WAY the CATALYTIC CONVERTER which has no moving parts, suddenly went bad. He explained how unscrupulous dealers will have the Readiness Monitor pass 2 levels with the light off & print the sheet as passed (knowing it will return quickly, hence sell as is, with proof that it passed) Coincidence? You decide. I was told by *********************************, ***** mgr. that he and *************************, Gen. ***** mgr. would call me the next day at 10:30am & continue to call me every 30 min. if they were unable to get me the first time. The call never happened. I called later in the day & was told that **** would return my call, didnt happen. I called the next day & the next & the next. He wouldnt accept or return my calls. That's how they operate. I had Higher expectations from a Dealer as large as Leith. It was clear in their responses that they have a very well canned way of responding. You wouldnt think they would scam people like this. I was wrong! Dont be fooled! Don't buy from what appears to be a scam artist dealership. It's obvious that this is my only way to help others to not find yourself in my situation of having a $900.00 expense on a car that I bought just 129 miles ago.Review fromSheshider G

1 starI purchased a VW Tiguan 22' recently and and vehicle was shipped to be as I purchased it online. Upon exploring the vehicle in detail, I have noticed that a couple of features (Blindspot Monitor, Handsfree Liftgate), which were clearly advertised on the website and a crucial factor in my purchasing decision, seems to be missing from the car (I have the pictures of the vehicle posting). Given the situation, I am understandably concerned and disappointed. The presence of these featurs were one of the main reasons I decided to purchase this particular model. Their absence has significantly impacted my satisfaction and experience with the new vehicle. I tried to talk to them over the phone and has left several emails but got no response from them. I have now emailed them the pictures of the posting and waiting for their response.Review fromM. C.

KBB pricing assumes a vehicle is in excellent condition with low miles.M. C.

Your comment just reinforces that your vehicles are way overpriced. The vehicle had ***** miles in excellent condition , and was priced $10,000 over KBB. You should NOT be allowed to say Peace of mind pricing .M. C.

1 star1 day after purchasing a car I hear my brakes squeal. They send me a service report for my car that states my brakes still have over 80% life left. Obviously I don’t want to be driving around with my brakes squealing so I took it somewhere else to be serviced since they refused to check my brakes. Funny how once I replace my brakes the squeal went away. In their own words the dealership said, “that happens sometimes to new brakes because of the material they’re made out of”. Absolutely absurd but I was not going to waste more of my time hearing what they had to say. I had scheduled my appointment with them initially but once I arrived I was told I would have to wait until the salesperson who sold me the car got there because there was no paperwork filed or something like that. I even got there before they opened to ask questions about the brakes but the door was closed. The people inside just looked at me like i was crazy and carried on talking. I found that rude and disrespectful because I’m there early and they act like they couldn’t even greet me. I didn’t know you put customer service on hold whenever you feel like it. I waited over an hour just for them to deny checking my car. An hour!!!! Just for them to not even check my car. Not only that but they didn’t even properly ceramic coat my car. All they did was wash the car and completely forgot about my ceramic coating. Not only do I feel cheated I was ignored. I will never again go here for a car. They will do anything to save money and time. They do not care about the customers. They suck giving you a call back. I was told I was going to get a call back and never did after calling multiple times and leaving multiple messages. I guess that shows how they only care about selling cars. Nothing else is important.
