Do not trust salesmen from this company. I cannot speak to the product or the quality of the work, only the sales practice. My elderly parents had a leak in their roof that was evident from a stain in upstairs bathroom ceiling. *** from Southern National Roofing in ********* told my parents they had moisture throughout the attic developing mold. He said shingles had deteriorated and were at the end of their lifespan. Also said there were multiple areas where the wood underneath the shingles needed to be replaced.He tried to sell them a $39,000 new roof and wanted a $13,000 deposit then finance the rest. Fortunately I got there before he left and I was able to recover the check. I had three other roofers give assessment of his attic and roof. All three agreed there was no need to replace the shingles and they had at least five years more life. All found attic was dry without any evidence of mold. *** said the roof needed a ridge vent, yet the other roofers said it already had a turtle vent which functions the same as a ridge vent. The sole area of the leak was a deteriorated seal around the vent pipes. The water was dripping straight to the ceiling and not soaking the wood. I had one roofer replace all the vent pipe seals and freshen the seal on the chimney flashing for $1,000. Thankfully I saved my parents from being ripped off by *** and Southern National Roofing.

The kindest way to describe this "review" is dishonest. We were asked to visit and perform an estimate. We did so free of charge. Rather than simply provide a quote on a replacement as requested, we performed a (complimentary) inspection of the attic to provide insight on the cause of the leak. This roof was leaking in multiple places. Our annual revenue exceeds $30 million, we are A+ rated, accredited and carry a 4.6 star rating on BBB. We don't compromise our core values of honesty and integrity for money at Southern National. Our track record reflects that. I am personally familiar with this matter. Your parents are kind people that we were trying to help. You were extremely rude and disrespectful to **** That you recommended a "roofer" to your parents that said "turtle" vents (this is not a real term) are sufficient stand-ins for ridge vents (this is a clear violation of manufacturer's requirements and building code) is deeply concerning. Its not hard to find a "roofer" that asked you to waste $1,000 to service a failed/leaking roof. Being honest about the condition of a customer's roof is honorable. Charging an elderly couple $1,000 for 15 minutes with a caulk gun is not. We wish your parents good luck and thank them for the opportunity.Review fromTerrence S.

5 starsThey did an excellent job and were very transparent. The manager, ******, walked us through everything, the cost of the product and the total amount of the roof.
