This business is a contracted company running cable lines for ******** They ran ******* cable throughout my neighborhood (*********) in *************, **, in July 2024. They dug on my property (I do not use ******** so not my cable) and run cable through my yard and under my concrete driveway. They left my yard a mess of gravel and rock, killed the sod, and did a bad job of filling the dirt. Worse, they cracked and broke my 1-year old concrete driveway. I was on vacation that week and found this when I returned home on July 19th. No note was left, no attempt at contact was made to notify me of the damage done to my property, although they did leave such for my neighbor when they damaged his. The only difference there was he was home when they did it and confronted them about it. For me, apparently, they thought they could get away anonymously. I had to investigate this when I returned home, finding out who dug on my property and damaged it. First, I contacted ******* and put in a ticket. They sent someone to come by and look at it and acknowledged the damage and said they would contact the contractor (Lamberts). It took a couple weeks and another follow-up with the ******* Supervisor before someone identifying themselves as an employee of Lamberts called me. I told him what had been done and he said they'd be by the next day to look at it. Never saw anyone come by and there was no return contact. I contacted the Supervisor at ******* twice more since, and on the second message threatening legal action, he replied that he was contacting the contractor. He replied later that they'd be reaching out to me. Hasn't happened. It's been in excess of 1-month and my property is still damaged with no one offering to repair.Business Response

Lamberts Cable Splicing came through my street from October to November 2023. They were working for Brightspeed installing fiber lines underground. My yard was dug up and tunneled through without my permission. The crew left my yard a mess, huge holes that were not compacted in four areas, dirt and rocks left on the bare ground and they parked their vehicles on the wet yard causing ruts that killed the grass. I contacted the Harnett County Commissioners in early November 2023, ****************** stated that he would reach out to the company and have my yard restored. I received a call from a man who said he worked for the company. He stated that they would be back in the spring to repair the damage. Since November 2023, I have made several calls and sent several emails, including photos, over the past 5 months, trying to get my yard repaired. ************************* of Brightspeed called me and stated that the crew told him my yard was fixed, it was not! He then stated he would have someone come out to look at my yard. In the meantime, a couple of guys were on my street working on the cable (early April 2024), I approached them about my yard. Because they did not speak English, they put me on the phone with their supervisor who told me the yard would be fixed and asked them to take photos for him. Again my yard was not fixed. Today, April 29, 2024, I received an email from Lamberts asking for my address and what damages I was requesting to be fixed. This was the first communication from Lamberts.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: On April 11th, ************************* of Brightspeed called me. He stated that he reached out to the cable installation crew and was told that they already fixed my yard. I told him that was not true. On April 30th ************************* sent me an email stating that the crew was at my house to fix the yard two times and he was not sure what more he could do. My yard was not fixed, not once, not twice, not at all. I emailed ********************** to inform her of Brewers email and that he was incorrect. I have been more than patientthis has been going on since November 2023.

Two weeks ago, ******* Cable Splicing dug a trench through my property to run cables for Century Link. At no time did they notify me or ask permission to dig on my property. During the digging of their trench, they cut through several sprinkler lines and also cut through my underground electric dog fence. I have made 6 different calls to resolve this issue and the company continues to route me to new people with the promise to resolve it. I am trying to work to fix the property they damaged.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: after several attempts to have someone from the company contact me to resolve the issues and several promises of phones calls to me, I have never received a phone call. Yesterday after another phone call from me, I was able to be routed to the third different employee of the company that I have spoken too. He is a local supervisor and has committed to have someone come out and resolve the issues this Friday. If this occurs, I will happily close out this issue as resolved. My hesitation for closing it out before they arrive is due to the experience I have had and the lack of follow up from the company so far. I am hopeful I have finally spoken to the right person and it will get resolved

Lamberts fiberoptic company has been installing fiberoptics in my neighborhood using machines for digging and trenching the ground. My home is situated at the end of a dead-end street and they have continued to leave piles of dirt, rocks and debris directly in front of my drive at the end of each work day; resulting in a slashed tire on my vehicle while exiting my property to run errands. I called Lamberts head office ************ in Noth ******** on October 30th at 2:14 p.m and explained my problem. They informed me I would need to contact the field manager for my area which is **************** ************ whom I called at 2:22 pm that same day and explained my dilemma and **** assured me he would resolve the issue. Not hearing from **** I sent him a text and again he told me he would get this resolved and I have not had a return call since. I called Lamberts in ************** and they gave me the Manager for the **************** ******************* ************. I called **** on November 2nd at 11:06 a.m and left him a message of what has happened and the damage that accured to my tire. I haven't yet recieved a reply from ******************* as of November 8th or anyone from Lamberts ?? Besides the fact that Lamberts has left a mess behind in my neighborhood and doesn't seem to have any respect to clean the streets and respect homeowners properties they have moved on and left the homeowners to cleanup and repair any damage they caused at the cost of the homeowners. I don't feel it should cost me money out of my own pocket and have to clean my street for Lamberts careless and sloppy work performance. Lamberts also broke are water main two separate times leaving the neighborhood without water for hours on end and putting the surrounding neighborhood and myself on a boil water notice for several days because of there incomptent , unorganized work caused by there employee's and company.Business Response

I had recently spent hundreds of dollars resurfacing my driveway. Lamberts Cable Splicing Company comes in to install cable under my driveway and using my driveway as their headquarters and storage for their equipment. Upon leaving, the end of my driveway, when it rains is now muddy with ruts. Additionally, *********** is blocked with dirt/mud causing minor flooding, the neighbor's mailbox is leaning, and a traffic cone remains. Lamberts needs to come back and clean up their MESS and repair my driveway (gravel) to its former condition. They cannot damage people's property and leave as if everything is OK.Business Response

Lamberts has a contract to bury underground conduit along and under every road in this section of Sarasota County. ON Sept. 1st they did our street. They came with a large, heavy, specialized piece of equipment which they drove onto my property. Then they maneuvered it around until they got in line to drill under our street. In doing so, they had driven their equipment over my main water line and shattered it.IT was raining while the crew was working, and continued to rain the next day, so no one noticed the water flowing out of the ground. On the morning of Sept. 3rd, I went outside and noticed water flowing and called the county. IN the meantime, we noticed our water pressure had diminished greatly . A service man soon arrived and inspected the watermain. he informed me the main was broken on my side, so it was my responsibiility to get it fixed.AS this happened while Lamberts was working on my property I called their office several times and left messages that were not returned. On Tuesday Sept. 6th, after still not receiving a response from Lamberts, I drove around looking for their crews and asking to speak to the boss. I met *****************************, project manager. he came to my house, inspected the damage and the tracks of their machine. he agreed the damage was caused by them. he apologized and said he would get it repaired that same day, and he kept his word. A plumber and crew came that afternoon and fixed the pipe. I thanked ***** and I asked him about the water bill for all the water that was lost. he told me to give him a copy when it arrives and they would take care of it. Some weeks later I provided him my water bill for over 2600.00$. the next day he came to tell me his company had nothing to do with breaking my water line, and refused to pay the bill! as this was an agreement as evidenced by them fixing the damage they had caused, they should be held accountable and pay for water lost from the pipe they broke. H.elp you can give will be appreciatedBusiness Response
