Refused to refund my application and enrollment fee, which goes entirely to ******* I had requested a refund due to personal beliefs concerning curriculum that is REQUIRED for ALL students.I also requested a refund due to financial hardship, my child went to the ** and we are unable to continue to pay for this expensive co-op. We need the money to help cover hospital bills.

We made friends here in the first year. In our second year, there was child-child sexual assault in a public place by children in my child's class. What I once thought was a good policy (******* ** - address concerns/conflict directly with others) became glaringly inappropriate when CC did nothing to address sexual assault. No offending child was removed from my child's class, nor did any leadership attend to observe/protect (even after they were made aware). I asked, repeatedly, in email and in a phone conversation for a written policy on what CC will do if sexual or verbal assault/abuse happens on their campus. They do not have one. They will do nothing. If anything happens, it'll be a conversation and they refuse to put anything in email or writing. I have significant concerns over how dangerous situations were/are handled and I no longer feel comfortable with my children attending. I have multiple kids and cannot have eyes on both at the same time. When I asked for a refund, I was told they don't do refunds and to "name a private school that would give a refund." She was very clear, however, to indicate that they are not a private school, but individual businesses. I was told "It's not illegal to not have a sexual assault policy." That may be true, but why wouldn't you want one to both protect children and their business? There is an overall incredible lack of transparency within the Classical Conversations community, which raises a lot of red flags.

Refuses to reimburse me after a local directors child bullied mine 2/3 lessons. They put my 4 year old in a class with older children far too advanced for her. Pointing, laughing, mocking a 4 year old is not okay. She ignored her in class aside from turning around to giver her ugly stink faces. She encouraged her friends to not be friends with my kid. She told them not to sit with her at lunch. Truly unacceptable behavior towards a child half her age. For a Christian company they lack compassion and understanding. I asked to just teach her at home and was told I can not and they locked me out of online books I paid a separate fee for. I spent over $800 and they prorated her 3 sessions a returned they remainder of her tuition paid locally and told me to kick rocks for the rest of the funds paid for things I can not access any more, annual fees we received no benefit of since she only had 1 class appropriate for her age. 18 classes lost.
