      This company is holding up our build by MONTHS! We ordered a house full of cabinets in June of 2022. We were told ***** weeks. That should of put us somewhere in late September, early October for install. In September ********************* told us they would be installed the first or second week of November. We weren't happy, but didn't have any say in the matter. At the end of October we asked to just confirm we were still on for the November dates. At that time ****** just simply said, "NO, we will install December 20th.". I wrote him to explain this wouldn't work and so close to the holidays I felt they wouldn't finish until after the 1st of the year. He told me that would be the date or sooner if he could make it work. Again last week we asked to confirm again we were set for Dec 20th. He has now changed the date to January 2nd. Of course I do not trust that date as so far he has been less than honest. He won't answer my emails or calls. He has told my builder he would only talk to contractors, not the customers. This means our house which was estimated to be done in October, will just be sitting for months while we wait for cabinets. Everything is on hold until then and countertop dates needs to be changed along with other things. ****** does not care. And there is nobody there to talk to but him. Obviously they shouldn't have taken on jobs if they can't finish them within the estimated time or even close. IF they install these on Jan 2, it will be about 29 weeks from order date. That is double the amount of time we were originally told.

      The order for these cabinets was released on July 1, 2022. At that time our lead times were around ***** weeks. We have unfortunately experienced multiple production delays over the past few months that have impacted every single one of our customers and delayed installation dates. We regret that this delay has caused frustration for the homeowner. We have notified the builder of these delays, as our contract is with the builder and he is our point of contact for the job. It is the builders responsibility to relay any updates to the homeowner.

       

      We have been able to finish production of these cabinets ahead of the projected January 2nd installation date and have them on schedule to be installed beginning December 21st.

       

      We have been in business building custom cabinets for sixty years. It is always our goal to provide a quality product to our customers. We look forward to providing cabinets for this homeowner that they will be able to enjoy for many years to come.

      I am rejecting this response because:  While some of this is HALF true now, it wasn't always the case.  Whatever the timeline is now, is NOT what was told to us by the salesperson,  They may be communicating with the contractor only NOW, but again that has not always been the case.  The last date given to us was January 2nd, but only after we were first told the end of Sept, first of October.  Then we were told the first of November.  Then December 19th.  And then they changed it to January 2nd.  Whether we are the only ones they are currently behind on  doesn't matter.   They should have been turning down jobs if they didn't have the time instead of lying to everyone about the timeline.  

      They are there today (Dec 22nd).  They were supposed to come yesterday the 21st and install at least all of the base cabinets so that we wouldn't have to push our countertop install back from already a late January 12th to mid February.  Since they didn't get it done yesterday, nor will they get it done today we had to beg for a later templating date.  They are missing one base cabinet also, so we still can't have it measured. 

      The install team has been great.  My problem still is mostly with the management of our project, mainly **********************  We are the customers after all.  He only started speaking to contractors only when he was receiving so many complaints.  They dealt with only myself and my husband through the rest of the project.

      This response is half truths and very misleading.  More lies and excuses.

      We are regretful that the customer feels that she received poor or miscommunication regarding her installation date. It was never the intention of our company to mislead her. We have experienced an overabundance of work this past year, for which we are extremely grateful. However, like most other construction trades, we have dealt with production delays that are beyond our control.

       

      The cabinets have been installed in this home and our team is currently working with the homeowner on completing all outstanding items in a timely manner. We stand behind our work and will make sure that the customer is satisfied with the end product.
