    I received a charge on my *********** Savor credit card in the amount of $249.99 from RPSTRENGTH on 11/28/2004. I did not recognize this charge and submitted a fraud claim to my credit card who began an investigation into the charge. According to my credit card company, they received a message from RP Strength claiming the charge was valid and my claim was closed without requesting any evidence or response from **** maintain this is an invalid charge made by a company I do not know and whose services I do not use and would like the merchant to refund the amount of the transaction.

    This charge pertains to a Hypertrophy app subscription that the customer initially signed up for on November 27, 2023. The transaction in question was for the annual renewal on November 28, 2024, as per the terms of the subscription.
    Our subscriptions operate on an auto-renewal basis, which is clearly stated on our website during the checkout process. (Please see the attached screenshot of the checkout screen.) The customer did not cancel the subscription prior to renewal and has never contacted our customer service team to request cancellation or a refund.
    As with any auto-renewing subscription, charges continue unless a cancellation request is made. Given that no such request was submitted, we were unable to troubleshoot until it came in as a fraud dispute. Thanks,

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Customer (me) did not sign up or use any subscription from RP Strength. If there was another charge in November 2023, I would like to amend my request to include that amount as well. 

     

    Regarding the comment about not contacting RP Strength directly for a refund, there is no phone number listed on your site to call you directly. Please provide me with such a number and I will call you to discuss the matter directly.

    All on November 12, 2022 regarding their templates they sell:First of all, this was not fully explained prior to purchasing. I was mislead. It was not fully explained that we need to pick exercises and all. It was stated in a way that shows all of that will be done.Second, it was not stated excel was needed and I cant use excel without paying for it which Im not doing.Third, ****** sheets which I can use doesnt fully display all excel will with the template was created with so I cant even see more with sheets and again this was not stated prior to purchasing that you absolutely needed excel not sheets.Whats being sold prior to purchasing Is the all of the exercises sets and reps are ALL laid out for you in detail which was not the case at all.

    This customer has purchased a product from us and completely ignored the product description. Having said that he, was fully refunded before this complaint was filed with BBB
    Here is what was explained to the customer before refunding took place. 

    We recommend  reviewing product pages and refund policies before making purchases, as that would avoid any confusion. Our product page states what the product is in detail, including screenshots of exactly what the template looks like. There should not have been any confusion as to what the template does. 

    We clearly state that Excel is the only program we guarantee it working in. Yet the complaint was that it did not work in ****** Sheets. This is the text copied and pasted from our product page: 

    "It might work in other programs, but we can only guarantee full functionality in an updated version of MS ****** NOTE: On Apple products (iPhone, iPad, etc) full functionality may require an Office 365 subscription, as the free version may not render template contents as expected. "
