I was installing an ** wireless printer and the ** instructions directed me to **123.com for set up. When it didnt sync up it provided a link to clear up the issue. It asked for contact phone number and I would get a call. I promptly received the call. They said they needed to have access to my computer. I trusted that since the contact was through ** it was legitimate. The person online wrote that he was with **Tech Solutions. They claimed that the laptop had IP address issues and firewall protection was allowing the problems and they would continue. Understand I thought this was ** I was dealing with, so I allowed them to fix the issue for a charge. Then afterward told that would be a temporary fix but they provided a security plan that would update and scan regularly. I accepted the offer. When I received an email receipt it showed the payment was to Business Express **** and the vendor was United Expert Infotech. This was never mentioned in the process. I immediately became very suspicious when I saw this. I started researching ** printer scammers and a lot of information came up. I immediately contacted my credit card company to place a hold on the transaction. I took my computer to geek squad and they confirmed that I had been scammed. Next day I get a call from Business Express about the payment and I told them I placed it on hold due to fraud. She pressed me to have the hold released and then she would issue a refund. She said that the tech was with a third party company and they cant control what they do. I told her to put it in writing and email it to me and I would share this with my bank but I would not have them release the payment. I have not received further correspondence.Business Response

I called what I believed to be HP for assistance adding a printer I had just purchased. I was led to believe the problem was there were too many devices connected to my wifi. The person stated they would need to clean my machine for $199.00. I was on with them for over an hour and when they were done, it still wouldn't connect. The new "technician" asked me to put the printer near my router. That was all it needed. I want a refund of my $199Business Response

November 4, 2023 *********** froze our fire television screen. A number appeared that we needed to update our Prime Video account and to call the number provided. I called the number and was told our account needed to be activated and for $199.99 I would receive three years of Prime (buy two get one free). I told **** that it appeared that he was selling tech support and he said no, it is three years of prime. I gave him my credit card information, he charged it and sent me a receipt for tech support. When I call the number on the receipt it goes to a dead end extension and all I was able to do was to leave a message No one returned my call.Business Response

On 03/23/2023 our FUBO TV came up with a warning that we needed to update our User Agreement. It seemed to be from FUBO TV and our account was locked. We called the #, and dealt with an Agent claiming to be from FUBO. Stating that we needed to pay a fee and re-do our user agreement to unlock the account. Also, we would receive ********** free if we did. Through email authorization, this company got into our FUBO account and we paid through email. No personal info was shared, they knew our account info. We were charged $139.99. Fat forward to September 2023 we called FUBO TV to check on this and they knew nothing of the matter. merchant were experiencing confusing and unfortunate service we immediately took the
appropriate measures to ensure this would not happen again. We are taking this incident very
seriously and have terminated this particular merchant and banned them from running any more
support through the Business Express gateway. We do not condone misrepresentation or a bad
customer service experience of any kind if running through Business Express.We have mailed a refund check to your residence in full.

The transaction occurred on January 28, 2023 in the amount of 149. I was trying to add fubo to a new tv I had purchased. I was prompted to call a customer service number from the screen of my tv. I was told if I paid the $149 and then my monthly payment until July, that fubo would then be free for one year. When I was charged for fubo again in August, I called fubo customer service to complain and ask for a refund for that months payment and was told they don't offer that service and had no record of the phone call or the charge and that I should investigate my credit card payment, that I was likely the victim of a scam. Sure enough, the charge was made by Business Express. I have not contacted the business. I came straight here to file a complaint and seek your help. I would like to apologize on behalf of Business Express. Business Express is a gateway that allows different third party support partners to provide third party support on a number of different services such a computer support, printer and router support, and also TV Subscription support.
The partner who assisted you has since been terminated upon discovering that some of his customers were not receiving the service they sought out.
We have tried to refund you to the original card on file and was not able to. Therefore we did put a check in the mail to the address on file mailed this past Saturday.

I copied and edited a description that I found on BBB. The description very closely matches my problem . On 2/11/2023, my FuboTV quit working and I could not log in. Instead of being able to log into FuboTV, I was provided a toll free number and link for access to customer service. I was told FuboTV had changed their service and no longer allowed payment/service on a monthly basis. The Business Express ************ representative further clarified that I could prepay a specified amount and receive corresponding months of FuboTV for free starting in May 2023. I chose the option to prepay $159.99 for what the ************ told me would be 1 year of free FuboTV. My service was then restored so I assumed the representative was legit. I questioned the rep since it seemed like too good of a deal. His response was "how could I turn your ************** back on if this was not legitimate". In reading the similar BBB complaints, I see Business Express ************ ******** listed on my credit card account activity) recieved my payment of $159.99 but no free FuboTV or other services have been provided. I filed this complaint initially on 8/16/2023. Business Express indicated to BBB and me they would mail me a check to reimburse me for the $159.99 they improperly charged me. I did not receive a reimbursement check and BBB changed the status of my initial complaint to "answered". Is Business Express simply attempting to get BBB to change the status of the complaint? I expect to get a reimbursement or will take this to civil court. My original complaint (per below) is: I copied and edited a description that I found on BBB. On January 17, 2023, I was told by this company that they represented ******* and that for a one time payment of $169 we could get monthly service from Fubo free for a period of time (from July 23 to July 24). I will try to attach the confirmation email from them. Called them in July as monthly fee to Fubo continued (monthly fee not eliminated) and when I called Fubo, they had no idea what I was talking about. I called Business Express on July 17 and was told by *************** (not sure of speilling) that refund would be issued. I have called numerous times since with no response from them. No refund has been received. We have been deceived, cheated and lied to by this company. I pray that they have not treated others this way, especially older adults. This complaint is very much like the one submitted on June 14, 2023 where they used shady and deceiving business practices. Mine started with problems printing from my HP Envy ****. I went to 123HP.com for help and had a "technician" tell me I had ************************** my router and my router and computer were infected. He said they could clean everything up in all my devices connected to the router. It would be $699.99 for ""Firewall install and activation Lifetime Licence and Support - HP Envy **** Lifetime". I paid by Credit card on July 10, 2023. They worked on my PC for nearing 2 hours and then said everything was fine. Same problem happened again a few days later so I called the number they gave me ************. This person told me I needed to purchase a Security Firewall Appliance for $1,501.30. They always asked me for my Banking account number, I always said I would not give out my banking information, which seemed to upset them. I told them there was no way I was going to spend over $1,500 more. Then we had a few more words and he asked me if I wanted to cancel and he'd refund my money. I said yes! He connected me to someone else for my refund. This person has given me the run around for 16 days now, He always asks me to be have patience, but he keeps coming up with "sorry I can't refund today". He even had me download "Cash App" from Play Store so he could pay me.Bottom line is I'm not getting anywhere with Business Express, **** **********, ** ************.Business Response

On 12/23/2023 I contacted ******* support with a problem I was having hooking up a TV. They talked me through the process then I was offered a way to upgrade to a 3 yr. Premium account with unlimited devices. The payment to upgrade was $239.99. I was to pay a monthly fee for a few more months then my subscription would be free til Nov. ****. The payment was processed through Business Express like I was told. I received an email that stated everything we had talked about but when I contacted **** about the monthly fees they said they didn't know anything about it.
