Allegacy Federal Credit Union refused to remove a charge from my credit card for services not rendered. I called dispute the charges. The lady I spoke to took down ALL of my information and I explained in DETAIL why the charge $15 charge should be removed. She ASSURED me, she had all the information she needed and even agreed with me that the charge should be removed. Even the business that was charging the $15 agreed for me to call Allegacy to have it removed or rejected. Then I get an email 3 weeks later asking me to provide all the same information I'd already gave the representative. They asked for the time I called, who I talked to and other ridiculous questions from the business that charged the $15. I completed the form and sent it to them again. Then I get another email AND letter asking for the information again! I've been with this credit union for over 20 years and have several accounts. With this type aggravation, I'm willing to remove my accounts and go elsewhere. Allegacy is holding on to that $15 like it's their last! So disappointed!

I obtained a car loan through a dealership and decided to pay off the loan within a year. It was for 18000$. No interest was taken from the almost partial pay off. The interest rate is 7.15%. I left around 400$ on the loan. I think that's a fair deduction for the interest I would have paid. But according to them I have to pay all the interest for the loan whether early or not! I've never heard of paying for something I didn't use. This place is a rip off. DO NOT USE is my best suggestion for anyone that values their hard earned money!!!

it is virtually impossible to contact this bank. I have an issue that relates to an old savings account and have been trying for two years now to get my money out and close the account.
When I finally was able to reach a human, I was told the account would be closed and a check for the balance mailed to me. After 3 months, I had not received the check. Went through the rigamarole again only to he told that it wasn’t possible for me to close out the account since my husband was the primary holder. (in other words, I was lied to about the check). Since then my husband has tried dozens of times and been unable to get through the automated line to a human. They are stealing our money

I have financed two automobiles with this bank and I have nothing but positivity for this lender and everyone I've come into contact with!
