      I received a phone call from Truliant fraud report this morning saying that there was a suspicious attempt to use my debit card on Monday. It was suspicious. Not me. I walked into the Elon branch at 9:03am this morning to get this straightened out and walked out before 9:15 with my new card in hand. Quick reliable service. Thanks Truliant for catching the fraud and for the fast replacement with a new card.

      Truliant Ill never bank with them again i opened up an account and now they have made my rent late and also blocked my account saying someone bs they never call back and Im getting the run around

      Dear Ms. ************ you for contacting us regarding the hold on your membership. We truly appreciate your patience as we reviewed your account details. We understand how frustrating this matter may be, and we want to assure you that we are fully committed to resolving it in a fair and timely manner.Upon reviewing your records, it appears that prior to opening your most recent membership with us on May 13, 2025, there was a previous membership associated with a different Social Security number that had been charged off. Our records indicate that we have made several attempts to contact you over the past few years regarding the status of this account.The first outreach occurred on February 21, 2024, concerning an ATM deposit for which the check could not be negotiated. A second attempt was made on April 23, 2024, regarding the same issue. On February 7, 2025, our recovery partner, Triverity, attempted to contact you in relation to the charged-off account, but the call was disconnected. As a follow-up, a letter was mailed to you on February 8, 2025. Most recently, on May 20, 2025, our **************** issued a letter informing you that the outstanding balance on the previous account had been settled and that a check was issued to you for the remaining amount.Please know that we are here to support you and are happy to assist with any additional questions or concerns you may have.       Truliant is the worst. They put a hold on my account without speaking to me or me speaking to anyone. My direct deposit was deposited into my account restricting me from access to funds I work hard for. Then customer service is closed on the weekends. I couldnt even refill my kids dam lunch because my dam account is on hold. Go inside the bank they cant even talk to the fraud department. They can only email. Truliant is a fraud within it self.

      These people are RUDE. They say what they want to say to you and hang up! BAD BUSINESS. I would NEVER get a car loan with them again! Whoever is the CEO of this company needs to make changes ****. Just UNBELIEVABLE how they talk to you on the phone. These calls need to be monitored more closely! I dont never write a review about anyone but this man that just called me pushed me to do this!

      DO NOT GET A CAR LOAN WITH THIS CREDIT UNION! AFTER PAYING OFF MY CAR LOAN THEY TRIED TO TAKE PAYMENT SEVERAL TIMES AFTER CAUSING MY ACCOUNT TO OVER DRAFT. AFTER CLOSING MY ACCOUNT FOR THE THIRD TIME THEY TELL ME I HAVE A CREDIT AND I TELL THEM I DONT KNOW HOW YOU TOOK MONEY OUT OF AN ACCOUNT THAT DIDNT HAVE THE FUNDS BUT I GUESS WHEN YOU HAVE INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES THAT DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING THIS C*** HAPPENS!! NOW THEY TELL ME I OWE THEM THAT LAST PAYMENT BECAUSE IT WAS RETURNED, AFTER I TOLD THEM SEVERAL TIMES MY CAR WAS PAID OFF FOR MONTHS AND TOLD THE LADY I DONT KNOW HOW I HAVE A CREDIT!! DO NOT BANK WITH THEM!!! INCOMPETENT!!

We sincerely apologize for any confusion and frustration this situation may have ********* clarify, when your auto loan was closed on September 13, 2024, the automatic payment that had been set up was not disabled, which resulted in payments being processed on October 4th, 2024 and November 5, 2024. As per our process, when payments are received on a closed loan, the loan temporarily reopens, but the funds are then deposited into your membership savings account. We understand that this may not have been communicated as clearly as it should have been when you visited in october, and we regret any inconvenience this caused.Following the first payment in October, you were able to retrieve the funds in cash at our ********************. Then, in November, after reaching out to our contact center, we issued a check to you on November 13. However, shortly after, the funds for that payment returned as insufficient, which led to your savings account being reopened and ultimately placed into a negative balance. Per our policy, accounts with a negative balance beyond 45 days may be charged off, which appears to have occurred.We truly want to assist in resolving this matter for you. If you would like to set up a payment arrangement or make a deposit at one of our branches, we are happy to work with you to find a solution.       I deposited a large check on Nov 8 and 4 days later it still does not show on my account. Their **** card is the worst and I have already cancelled it after a late fee using their internal system to pay. I will be taking all of my business to another bank. Their online bill pay is extremely slow and I suspect needs to be investigated.

      This is the first issue that I have ever had to the point that I am now looking for another bank to open an account checking account with. Was reviewing my online banking and noticed that there was an ** fee on the same day money was direct deposited to my account at 12:01. When called they said it was because transaction was pending the day before but not yet cleared. On my online account it shows deposit that has been cleared, check, then the ** fee. When called the person was okay but not at all pleasant to talk to you. They told me the reason why there was an ** fee is because they were trying to decide whether or not to accept it but ended up accepting it after the direct deposit was made but still charge me the fee even though the funds were in account. U Unfortunately we do have auto loans with them but luckily all you have to have is a savings account with five dollars in it to keep loans with them. So definitely will be looking for a more transparent bank even with their online portals. On my end it never showed transaction was pending.

      I applied for a car loan at Truliant, never have herd anything back, after calling them a few times and providing them "more" information, and still was waiting until after about 3 weeks past, when I called again they wouldn't answer on any of my questions just told me that I have to go to the branch, when I asked if I need to bring more documents the answer was "you can bring what you think you might need".When I came to the branch didn't get any answers, just was told that my information doesn't match with "theirs", the only thing I got from them that I have to call equifax and confirm my address, I did call them and my name, my address, and my birthday were fine, it was confirmed. So, obviously someone at the bank made a big mistake and they didn't want to communicate about it.Oh, one more thing, when I was applying for the loan I opened an account, in two weeks they canceled my account without explanation, seems like their employees don't get proper *********** much for Truliant, I would suggest to think twice before going to that bank, unless you have time to waste.

      ******** customer service. Attempted to make a payment but the app was having issues and locked me out even though I had the correct username and pw. Would not send me a pw recovery and said I had to call. 3 hours later they said I would have to go to a shared credit union to verify my identity despite giving them all the correct info. Once I verify I have to call them again. They could not explain how I could make a payment on my loan because I dont hv access to the account. Rude and disrespectful. I do not have an account w them other than my loan ( but they opened a savings acct that has zero in it). They honestly think someone stole my identity and then decided to be nice and make sure my payments werent late. By the time this is corrected I will have wasted 24 hrs of my time. Would never recommend.

      The absolute worst bank ever if I could leave a 0 star review I would. Someone hacked my account deposited 2 bad checks forged my signature on those checks, and when the next business day came negative $1500. I filed a police report and took all the right steps they will not own up to their mistakes when I called the fraud department they said it sounds like you had something to do with this and hung up. My account has been on lock for 2 months and they will not accept the fact that they messed up and when notified about it they brushed it off because they get steal more money out of an individual.
