  Great until your fees are paid, and bankruptcy ready to proceed. Sent an email a week ago, no response, left a phone message Friday no return call. Called just now, and interesting enough once my name was given, who I needed to speak to is on the phone. Guadalupe, who answers the phone, is rude and does not know how to handle a client who is upset due to no response. Was told the person I need to speak with, will call back. Guess we will see.

  Terrible experience. Pushed back and delayed, definitely wasn't a priority. Original timeline provided wasn't inaccurate. Mistakes made by their office cost me in the end. They weren't upfront about the fee structure. I truly thought costs were going to be $1000. $500 upfront, $500 when completed. They don't verbally tell you about the $3500 they add into the plan. $4500 total in cost.
  If an attorney defense is "well you initial it", you're not going to land well. You go to these guys with the mindset they'll look out for you, explain things so normal people can understand. When going through documents, we understand just enough of why we're there, but we don't know what we're supposed to know and what questions to ask beyond the obvious.
  If we're expected to pay the max fee for filing, then we should receive the max service from the attorney. But in today's environment, work at the bare minimum and charge the max.
  I wouldn't recommend Steffens Law Office.
