      I was due to have my consult the next day. When I received a confirmation call, I decided to disclose that I am blind and I would be able to make it to the appointment. I was told everything was fine until I received a call back and was told I had to bring someone with me who was over the age of 18 to help me read the documents: according to a regional manager. When I asked if someone there could help me by just reading the forms as I am able to make informed decisions for myself, I was told no because it's a legal document. I was also told that I might have to reschedule my consult because the documents may take a while to complete once I bring an adult with me. I made it clear that I was surprised since I do make my own decisions and no bank/hospital/etc expects me to bring an adult to sign documents. The continued response was that no one could do that there since it's a legal document. I asked if I could be sent the documents in advance (to offer another work-around) and I was told the same thing about it being a legal document. I confess I hung up after stating I would find somewhere else to go. I see this as blatant ableism since I disclosed out of the kindness of my heart. What would have happened if I had just shown up to my consult the next day without having disclosed? How would I have been treated then? I wonder since they clearly were not making accommodations for my appointment beforehand. This was in the Halsted Chicago location. I am heartbroken by this form of discrimination since I am an adult with a career in the mental health services field who can advocate for myself. How do other disabled customers get treated at this place?

      If I could give no stars I would do so. I started doing treatments about a year and half ago. Of course I didn't expect results overnight. I trusted the process. And I kept going, and never got the results I expected. They “graduated” me. I dont even know what that really means because ALL my hairs turned white in the treatment area. I think the growth is more real than before because now I have more new black hairs as well as all the white hairs that were once upon at time black. I disputed the financial transaction with my bank over ($1300) because it did absolutely nothing for me!! They reached out to me saying they could put me in touch with their medical team.? For what? To swindle
      me out of more money!! No thanks, Im waiting for a Dermatology consult to get real answers for this unwanted growth.

      In response to the complaint from Shante Grier.
      Shante became a client of Milan Laser Hair Removal on 12/10/2023 when they participated in a free consultation. At the conclusion of the consultation, Shante purchased laser hair removal. Their choice of payment was through a third party lender In our purchase agreement with Shante, they signed and agreed to all sales being final and scheduled their first treatment.

      On 10/09/2024, Milan Laser was informed that Shante filed a complaint with the BBB. A member of Milan's Client Services Team spoke with Shante, resolved their concerns and offered an appropriate solution.

Shante's complaint was handled quickly and we are happy to have resolved this concern and to continue to be a part of their hair-free journey.

      This place is a scam and they do not do what they say they will do ( hair removal). First of all they assign someone whose only credentials is to convince you to take a loan from Synchrony bank. Having a bad experience with this bank I refused and asked the so called manager that I do not intend to take a loan but will pay every month for the treatments. She makes you believe that and when you ask to talk to the headquarters she refuses and acts like she is the only one who has the final say. She does not tell you that only certain kinds of hair cannot be removed until I did my own research. There are so many misrepresentation of facts that I would not recommend anybody to waste their money for such hype. I would tell others not to start this process and to refuse to sign any document because it is not what they tell you but the wording is different. Although I refused to get the loan and was promised I wouldn't deal with any loan I just found out the Manager was lying . I would rate the company 0 out of 5 because of misleading statements.

      I began full body laser treatment in May 2022, and after more than two years and over 11 appointments, I’ve seen no results. Additionally, my face has been scarred. When I informed the technician, they assured me that a nurse would reach out to me, but I have yet to be contacted.
      Dont fall into this trap

      Do not go to this place. Jay is rude and racist she laughed at me for asking a question and made smart remarks. Not only did she cancel my services without my approval but failed to explain to me my options. I have called many times and they do not answer. I would get cancellation text the day of my apt and then get rescheduled weeks out. Headquarters was no help. I keep getting told I will get a refund and don’t get anything. It has been months!!!!

      I have an established profession relationship with the NP that works at one of the Sioux Falls, SD locations. I have been receiving their services for the past 6 months and I have come to find out that Milan is firing ALL the NPs and hiring cheaper replacements. So I will randomly get assigned a new employee when I’m almost done with my treatment. These employees AND customers are being treated horribly because this business wants to save a buck. Although the law has changed allowing nurses to perform the laser treatment NO ONE else in Sioux Falls is FIRING their staff and replacing them with inexperienced personnel. I could understand if back fills were nurses, then training wouldn’t be rushed and senior staff could help train. I have contacted customer service about a refund and haven’t heard anything.

      Milan Hair REMOVAL services are a joke they are not responding to any calls emails text I need to find out how to get out of an agreement on credit and no one will return my calls emails etc they said they would Call me the day I called which was Friday and now it's Tuesday and I've heard nothing from no one I need some answers answered please

      Need them to cancel my subscription because I no longer want to use their services. Went to the Irving tx location recently for my appointment and told them prior to that I was late because of traffic and they still couldn’t give me an appointment. Had to sit on the waiting area waiting for my Uber back ( such a waste of money and time). Told them nicely that I couldn’t keep up with the appointments as they already know that my schedule is tight and on top of their unflexible schedule, it just wasn’t possible. I haven’t heard back from the manager who used to bombard me with useless spam emails as she has now become busy. It shouldn’t be such a hassle to cancel something that you won’t use and I truly regret stepping into their location!

Their pricing is competitive, their customer service is superb, their medical professionals are super welcoming, friendly, helpful, and just overall great happy people .       Overpriced and may not complete service. I feel like a spent so much money for a full body when half the time, they could not complete the service, saying I only had an hour allotment.
