Sexist, deceptive, and very pressuring. George put warranties in my contract after I explicitly said absolutely not to all warranties. Then extended my payment terms so I would not notice the extra $7,600 they put in my contract. Rushed me through the paper work and did not explain a single thing. I am a 20 year old female and a first time car buyer and the experience I was given was extremely deceptive and disappointing. I would recommend not working with George if you chose to finance through them. In fact don’t finance with them at all because they are only going to screw you over. George also made it sound like I had to choose an extended warranty, like I had no choice but to add it. And only after I said no 15 times and called my step dad, is when he finally said that it was optional. I couldn’t explain the amount of stress they caused me, lesson learned that they are not in the business of selling cars, they are in the business of scamming people out of their money on worthless warranties. I have been bringing my other car for maintenance there for almost a year now and have spent over $5,000 on getting all the maintenance done. I guess I will be on the search for someone more trustworthy.

The service and communication at Village Pointe Toyota is TERRIBLE. I could never get anyone on the phone and I would call 3 times and even leave a message for the Service Manager--no call back. Finally got a call from a service tech who was covering for the original one and he was RUDE and his name was Jake M and he did not want to help me or care to try. He was rude, short and very unpleasant. I guess you don't need customer service skills to work there? Barry called me after multiple times trying to reach him (service manager) and called me on a speaker phone and didn't apologize or acknowledge or discuss anything, just said "your car is ready" which suprised me when they said the tire wouldn't be in until the next day. Come to find out 30 minutes later, the service tech called me and my car was NOT ready and the tire wouldn't arrive until the next day and my car would be done around 12pm CST. 4pm that day, still no updates on vehicle or ETA so I called AGAIN and my main guy, Lupe was gone for the day--didn't care to call me and say "your vehicle will be done at xyz and we will call you" so I had to talk to his backup again-JAKE M who was rude and called and said- your car is done and you can come get it. I said okay thanks I will be there soon, and he hung up. No apology or thank you or anything. COMPLETELY unprofessional and i will NEVER, i repeat NEVER get service there again or lease from them again. I will be telling all of my friends and family as well. Not to mention they didn't care I had no vehicle for 2 days or offer me a rental care. Even the manager, Barry is unprofessional and ridiculous.

We bought a car from this dealership four months ago and at the time Village Pointe Toyota told us the inspection looked great, no problems. We went to a Toyota dealership for service last week in a different state and we were told the brakes totally needed to be replaced due to years of damage. We called Omaha and they told us this place was lying and to patch it up and come back. That was unsafe reckless advice and we had no choice but to replace them. The rotors were completely corroded and some of the brake pads were worn down to zero. We have photos and have shared them with three separate mechanics who have all confirmed the damage started long before we bought this car four months ago. Village pointe has been unwilling to work with us, did not respond to the photos and has shown incredible dishonesty. At every turn they’ve accused the other place of lying to us even though we have all the damaged parts, photos and videos, and three separate professional opinions from different mechanics. We will never return and will be sure to let friends and family know. Stay clear.

    Where to begin...

2017 ********** with 50k miles and the water pump started leaking. I was working with Toyota directly to get this fixed as it was just outside warranty; therefore, you have to take it to a dealership. Unfortunately for me, Village Pointe Toyota was the closest. I was quoted a one-line item stating it was $1330 to replace the water pump. Toyota agreed to cover part of it so I took it to the dealership to get it done. I use ************ and was able to see when my car was being worked on and when it wasn't. They brought it back at 12:34 PM and parked it completed at 3:00 PM. The invoice indicates $1,110.44 worth of labor. I had to pick up my kids and needed my vehicle back. I call the service manager, Kyle ******, the next day two or three times and left voicemails and nothing. I kept calling and finally got a call back a couple days later and am told that it took 7 hours. After explaining my tracking and how it calculates to 2.5 hours, I am told that they had a master technician work on it and an apprentice so they were able to get it done faster but since it would normally take 7 hours (because that is what All Data, the software they use indicates) they should be rewarded. Mind you this is warranty work (as that is what Toyota classifies it since they helped). The random rate of $158.64 per hour is because they use an internal matrix that calculates the hourly rate, which somehow manages to get it to the exact amount of $1,330 (the one-line quote above). When I asked about the number of hours, I was told that they do not put the number of hours (either worked or the booked amount) on the invoice because that is not something customers need to know. When I called to get their hourly rate charge, I was told it was $140. In addition, my front windshield was cracked while in their possession and they take no responsibility for it. Be careful when doing service with them and do yourself a favor by going somewhere else.
