    ******* hospital required an ambulance transfer to ******* hospital for mandatory hospitalization due to mental illness (for my 16 yr old son). The ambulance company sent a bill to me for over $1000. I repeatedly wrote them my child had double coverage from both father and myself (divorced). They never responded. I tried calling, couldn't get through. Finally after months got through, but person couldn't figure out. Called again Finally someone said check sent to father, needed to be forwarded and Then theyd rebill his insurance. Told them I couldn't get fathers insurance info because divorced. They wouldn't add him to bill. Husband sent insurance payment about $218 from his insurance and co-pay.

    They are still sending bill even with secondary information. It has been very difficult to reach them. They will not submit to insurance. Their fee seems very high. I feel this is ghost billing, and harassment. They have sent me to collections.

    Father's insurance bcbs told him the following: I'll submit it (initial payment from insurance). (His insurance) said we owed $50 co-pay. The allowed amount is the 168.50 or something close to that. I wrote a check for the total and you sent it to them. Blue Cross said if they want the rest, we send them the bill and they either pay it, negotiate, or sick the lawyers in them for charging more than allowed amount

    This collections company still is harassing me (mom).

    I am rejecting this response because: I provided the legal documents in order for them to be able to explain the billing. The bill is in my name. They should answer my complaint and do not need to go into details about the medical bill.
