Would rate 0/5 if possible. They called early on a Saturday morning in November. Representative was awful, using scare tactics and wording things in a way that is fear mongering. Continuously saying that I HAD to be on a payment plan $100 per month or I would be in collections by Feb, that my account total ($1432) had to be paid within 12 months, and that it's not their fault my insurance didn't cover it. $100 a month does not equal out to $1432 in 12 months, this is what I mean by scare tactics. It was just some script to scare me into agreeing, it didn't have to make sense. They said I couldn't pay just $1 or $5, when I had only just received the bill the month prior and I paid $32. Obviously, if you were medically transported and in the hospital, you aren't working and many people cannot guarantee to make $100 payments. I don't make payments that high on my hospital bills, credit cards, car insurance, etc. and I would not be able to pay that much, so I asked what they do in that situation. I was not given an answer. After asking for a floor supervisor multiple times, I was met with a person who was good at forcing emotion but very clearly still had a script saying they had to take my lowly little case to the company's Chief Financial Officer to be reviewed, which is honestly the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I eventually called my insurance who said that they had made not one, but TWO full payments for what they had previously received from this company and had not billed this remaining amount of $1400 (after my payment) until 12/8/22, weeks after this phone call had taken place. The full amount was covered and processed by my insurance on 12/14/22. Judging by the review I see here and on other websites, I see that this is the company trying to, once again, receive double payment from both the insurance company and the patient and it's despicable and an embarrassing look to be taking advantage of sick people.

I paid my full co-insurance payment through ***************, the actual company who transported me from an emergency department to a hospital. There is no reason for this company to continue to pursue any type of funds from me. Further monetary requests will be taken as harassment and be pursued as such.
