I purchased professional audio equipment (*** ***** powered speaker and tote bag) from 4TEC Direct on 12/28/2021 in the amount of $******. The vendor has not fulfilled my order, nor is willing to issue a refund to date. First off, their website failed to indicate that the items ordered are not in stock. I trusted the site because they allowed for ****** checkout (buyer's assurance). After placing the order, I received a proper order confirmation email and invoice (attached). However, I have not received any further communication regarding my order status or shipping notice. I contacted the vendor and they told me the items are on backorder due to supply chain issues, and while they weren't able to give me a date when items should be back in stock, I was assured that it will be fulfilled as soon as they receive them. In my many conversations with them I was also informed that I am third in line for the items and I should keep checking back in a couple of weeks. I did continue calling them every other week or so to check on status for the following 13 months. The only gentleman I ever talked to is Chuck ****** and he always was very cordial and seemingly trying to be helpful and came across as a genuine mom and pop shop owner. Except he could never provide me with any specific or tangible information other than it the item is expected to be back in stock real soon. I started asking for a refund in January over the phone and email as well. My request was never processed. Since then, I tried contacting them many times regarding the refund, but they have stopped answering my calls and I've gotten 2 one liner email reply back but no progress. I tried contacting both ****** and my credit card company for help but I am past the purchase protections for both for them to help me dispute/refund the money. The vendor strung me along while my assurance policies expired and now I am at their mercy.Initial Complaint

It is really hard to believe that this order has been unable to be filled since May 2022. If you have the source that can fill the order at a $*** emergency fee than please fill our order. This order was placed in May of 22 prior to this new $*** emergency fee. You have charged our charge card meaning you have been paid. This is unacceptable. Appreciate it if you could get this shipped immediately.

Ordered products from vendor AFTER talking live with them by phone (all phone/email/chat records verifiable on this) - November 15th. Order was placed online after discussion indicating that shipment would ship in 5 days. There has been no shipment details provided until I reached out to them in an inquiry on December 2nd. Again, I was promised responses with an hour, day etc. from seller. I asked for shipment detail...none came. Business is a **********. They agree to everything you ask for but deliver NOTHING!!! They advertise all items as "instock"

I placed an order on line for an item on Dec 11, 2021 and my credit card was charged on that date. After the item had not been shipped I called to inquire. I was told that due to Covid, shipments from this manufacturer had been disrupted and they didn't know when it would be available. After waiting some months I discovered the item had been discontinued. I called for a refund and was told to send an email. I sent a couple of emails and never got a response.
