      Horrible communication, and customer support. Had a disability policy for almost 2 years, injured my leg, took me out of work for 7 weeks, filed my claim on there online portal, was informed claim was complete after filing all the paperwork, never heard anything back for a month or so, I reached out to them for them to tell me they never received documentation that was downloaded to my online portal, recent the documentation, online to hear nothing back for almost another month, finally I reached out to them just for them to tell me there are more documents they need, the same ones I had already taking and submitted multiple times on there online portal. Complete scam stay away from this company. Took my money for 2 years then offered no proper support after there was error on there end!

      I wish I could give less than one star. I had AFLAC for almost a decade, and switched when I changed employers. I would never recommend Assurity to anyone. Not user friendly. No explanation of denials, poor customer service. The website is an absolute joke, trying to reach someone on the phone will take most of your day. I have never been so disgusted by a service I PAY FOR. This is basically a well organized scam. If you can switch I highly recommend you do so at your earliest opportunity instead of continuing to line their pockets for nothing.

      Salesman came to our house and LIED TO OUR FACE for an hour.
      NOTHING he said was true. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT USE.
      Straight up scam. Absolute garbage.

      Worst customer service ever! Website is not intuitive and doesn’t let you see the details of your claim. Critical information that I updated online doesn’t stay updated in their system.
      I waited over 45 minutes multiple times on the phone & their representatives are not helpful. I would never recommend Assurity to anyone!

      If I could give them a 0, I would. They denied my cancer claim when I literally had a cancer removal surgery and four painful biopsies. Since they couldn't dispute the fact that I had cancer, they tried to falsely accuse me of being dishonest by innacurately reading my medical records and creating their own narrative. I've paid them every month on time and when I really needed critical illness payment in one of the hardest times in my life, I was met with avoidance, snarky commentary, and extremely dishonest and illegal practices. They never requested my medical records but kept telling me they were waiting on them. After two months, I ordered them myself and sent them to them. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They will scam you. Also, Dylan L in claims is a terrible human who is literally never at his job and has not reached out one time to me and I filed my claim 4 months ago.

      The insurance agent told me what I wanted to hear in order to get me to sign up for their policy. I then find out later than my claim is not covered despite being told that it would be. I reached out and explained the situation. They didn't care whatsoever. They just want you to sign up no matter what and get your money. And never pay out claims. Deceitful and poor customer service.
