If I could leave 0 stars i would. I have 2 policies with Wahington National Insurance, Cancer being one of them. I was diagnosed in 2021 and received almost next to nothing. Nothing for my type of breast cancer was covered. A continued waste of my money. If I were to cancel the policies I have I lose out on about 8 to 9 years of paying. Great way of robbing a hard working parent.

I have an accident policy with them and they took two payments out in July and will not refund payment. They said they were sending me my payment to me and allow 9 business days. They lied they never cut me a refund check. They kept giving me the runaround. Crooks!!

My Regional and District Managers are great people. They worked so hard to get me ready for success, and were available when I had any questions or concerns. However, it stops there. I was not informed of paying for my own hotel (which my last company paid for me), driving 100+ miles per day with no compensation (my last company also paid for this), and of the two mandatory meetings each day. It was sold to me as my “own business”, but then I had to start my day when they wanted, and end my day when they wanted. I was let go after missing one such meeting because a “State Manager” with short-man syndrome was there. It was after 10 o’clock at night. My place is at home with my family making more money, in an easier manner than this. The arrogance of the company and upper “management” and the culture it breeds is super unhealthy. They were not even man/woman enough to call me and see why I missed a meeting. They’d rather be cowards and take it out on the Regional and District managers. It was a great learning opportunity. Take everything you do and find something new to progress yourself. There’s a reason the company has less than 2 Stars for its rating. Be advised, and be intelligent before you commit.

Andrew A***** and Mitchell B********** came to my home announced, would not leave when asked to multiple times. Harassed me, threatened me, knew way too much info about my family and I and downright seemed like terrible people. They scared myself and my daughter after not leaving when asked to multiple times. I had to file a police complaint and now am buying outdoor security in case they come back.

I tried to cancel my policy back in 2020 and was told it was canceled. Come to find out they have been payroll deducting $60.90 a month ever since.
I was told I. Any cancel and there is nobody higher up to talk to. I was told I would have to have a lapse in payment which is impossible from my job because Washington National is submitting for payment every month.
I was hung up on the first time I called, the 2nd time I called she only gave me a fax number and mailing address to give my complaint.
I believed the agent would cancel my policy 2 years ago because he said he hasn't even turned the form in yet. I didn't follow through because I never received anything in the mail stating I had a policy. I never received and cards so I assumed I didn't have coverage. I should have followed through so I learned a valuable lesson today.
This is a terrible company and they claim to be better than *****. ****************
