    On 09/10/2022, I purchased a 2013 ********** ******, VIN: *****************, from DuTeau Chevrolet ** ******** ********. Their salesman, Steve ******, helped us with this transaction. I took the car for a test drive and did not notice any problems with it at that time. There was no, system lights on at that time. DuTeau gave us a ****** report. It showed no issues, but did have quite a few service entries. We purchased the car for $******. We took out a $****** loan with ** ********* for the car. We still owe approximately $***** on the car. On November 7th, I emailed Steve regarding a heater core issue I was having with the car. I received no reply. On November 16th, I emailed again and got no reply. Emailed again on the 18th with no reply. On November 22nd, I called and was finally told that you were not going to do anything about the heater core issue. I then contacted ******** ********** to get the issue resolved. ******** resolved the problem by installing a new heater core. On February 7th, the ****** was experiencing issues that made it undriveable. I had it towed from ******** to ********. I was then called on Friday, February 10th and told what the problem was with the ******. I had two solutions, replace the camshaft & timing belt ($*****) or a new engine ($******). If I chose the first option, I would have to monitor the oil, because it would be burning through it. After speaking with ********, they said that this vehicle should have never been sold because of the issues with it. DuTeau and ****** didn't catch the problem. On February 13th, I emailed ****** regarding this problem. I received an email that a support person would be assigned. They contacted me yesterday and would not do anything. On February 13th, I emailed Gary ******, the general manager of DuTeau, explaining what happened. I waited 48 hours and called him on February 15th, no response from as of today. I believe DuTeau was aware of the problems with the car.

    I spoke with Jason ***** from DuTeau yesterday. We are currently working on a resolution for this complaint. DuTeau has been very helpful with it. I will update when it is resolved.
