1 starOur Lennox air conditioner was installed by A-1 United Heating, Air and Electrical almost 10 years ago. The compressor died recently just under the 10 year Lennox warranty. Based on their invoice the charges for replacement are as follows:
REPLACE FAULTY COMPRESSOR $4,332.00
WARRANTY PART DISCOUNT COVERED BY LENNOX. -$1,330.00
TUNE UP DISCOUNT SINCE WE'RE MAINTENANCE CUSTOMERS -$ 449.85
LEAVING US A TOTAL BILL FOR INSTALLATION OF $2,549.15
WE'VE REACHED OUT TO THEM TO EXPLAIN THE RIDICULOUS COST OF INSTALLATION. ALL A-1 CAN SAY IT'S THE COST OF DOING BUSINESS AND PAYING OVERHEAD. WE HAVE BEEN LOYAL CUSTOMERS FOR OVER 25 YEARS. THIS INSTALLATION BILL/LABOR IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONEReview fromWard G

5 starsA-1 came to my house and did a phenomenal job. I was really shopping around because the last people, left my coils unwrapped which cause a leak. A-1 sent somebody out that day and repair it.Review fromKaren K

5 starsMy experience with A1 United was outstanding, from sales to installation. My furnace went out during cold weather temperatures and due to the age of my furnace (28 years), I decided to purchase a new furnace and air conditioner instead of an expensive repair. A sales person from A1 United and another reputable company came out the next day to go over the different manufacturers, product information, installation, warranties, and pricing. The A1 sales representative was far more knowledgeable, had better pricing options and warranty than the other company that came out. I was using a space heater to keep my house warm and scheduled for surgery the following week. A1 United installers came out the following day and put in the new furnace and air conditioner. The installer and workers did a wonderful job. They were very knowledgeable; meticulous in their work; careful of my property; good clean up; excellent communication by explaining issues with the previous installation and what they needed to do for the new installation, answering my questions, addressing my concerns; and all very polite. I would strongly recommend contacting A1 United when obtaining bids for your HVAC needs. -Karen K. In Omaha, Nebraska
