      I'm hearing impaired and cannot understand representatives from the third party call center. There's to much background noise which is a distraction. I need to speak with a representative who speak no broken English please make me whole and have someone call me back other than the call center!!

      I moved to blue cross blue shield health insurance in July 2024. I have severe chronic, episodic migraines that impact my day to day life. Prior to changing I was on another insurance that allowed me to get botox injections as well as take prevention medication. I had been doing these procedures for 2 years prior to changing insurance. Currently I have not had a botox treatment for a long time. Blue Cross continues to deny every request that has been made on my behalf - from neurologists to pain management. They indicated the first denial was due to taking aimovig- which I had discontinued this medication due to reaction and not responding. They declined another time due to taking Nurtec, which they denied this medication so I have not had access to this med since around July of 2024. My pain management submitted an additional appeal , indicating the meds that I was no longer taking and reason for need. Blue cross continues to deny these injections with having a full awareness of my current medication list, as well as how long I have received treatment and the benefits of the botox treatment I had been receiving for 2 years. I'm still working full time, trying to manage both the pain and the neurological symptoms. I am overdue for treatment and I am severely struggling with pain and neurological symptoms: ringing in my ears, vision issues (I experience dyslexia whe I am having a bad episode) right side weakness, drooling out of the right side of my mouth, language issues, severe neck pain, memory issues, brain fog, aura, confusion, severe pressure on my right eye that lasts for days, extreme fatigue, extreme sensitivity to lights, smells and sounds. My episodes last so long I can't tell what is pretty, during or post. Typically I have over 15 headache days a month. Typically I have 2-3 good days a month if I am lucky. Whe I plead with my insurance company to cover this procedure they instruct me to go to the Emergency Room.
