      We switched to this insurance this year. It is Jan 17th and I still can't use it. I don't have temp cards. I had to get my medications on my own using GoodRx. We call every week and get the same response. It will be 7 to 10 days. This is unbelievable.

      HORRIBLE! As a provider I am getting the run around so I feel sorry for the customers. I am currently seeing clients that have their insurance but get no answers, help, attention relating to my requests for help.

      November 6, 2023 I had an accident in Turks and Caicos. Almost 2400.00 out of pocket emergency expense. I called customer service and they directed me to BCBS Global Core International claims. I forwarded claim and info to them Nov. 29, 2023 and added another sheet on Dec. 5, 2023. No response so called local to check and they knew nothing about it. Called BCBS Global in January 2024 and was placed on hold for 90 minutes while the rep called Omaha to get this approved. She came back on and said it is approved. Called local several days later and they knew nothing and still they did not have any information. I asked to speak to a manager higher up but was refused. Customer service sent me an appeal form but I forwarded my agent the same info I sent to Global Core and He said he would forward to someone he knew farther up the chain. Called a couple weeks later and they said they do not have knowledge of the email so I sent a new appeal form along with receipts and documentation of items and services rendered in Turks and Caicos. I received the (EOB) Explanation of Benefits and it was denied. I called, asked if they may rush this appeal to claims as it has been so long. Rep called back in 3 days saying it CAN NOT be looked at any sooner than 30 - 45 days. This whole time I was told over and over that only in an emergency would a refund be accepted outside of Nebraska. This was an emergency!
      At this time it has been 4.5 months since putting in the first claim but no resolve. My next step will be physically going to the BCBS office here in Omaha and waiting until I get someone who can bring this to a close. I have been in the corporate world for many years, and this is a simple case of needing a manager to step in and approve.
      I have a lot of patience and did not want to do this but I have never been brushed off like I have been here. Robert M*******
