I purchased this dental insurance as the second insurance about a year ago. My dentist determined that I needed crowns on the lower jaw which were approved by the other insurance but Physician's declined to cover citing some technicality. Not a reliable carrier and a total waste of money,

I've had PM since turning 65 as secondary coverage to Medicare. I have the high deductable plan. I have submitted a request that someone contact me three times on their web site and not once have they responded. VERY POOR customer service. All of my friends who have a secondary plan have a benefit for membership to Silver Sneakers (which would only add to their helping older customers stay fit/healthy). PM does not have this but sends their customers on a wild goose chase to contact a supposed provider called **** something. They do not membership privilages at the usual city rec centers that have risistance pools and what have you. I'm not even sure if it's free like the other insurance companies are or not because I have yet to be able to contact a real person to find out anything about the benefit. It's a waste of PM's money and a huge inconvience to have to hassel with this ****fit thing, not user friendly at all. But I guess we'll never know since no one knows the details about the benefit and are unfamiliar about a comparison of Silver Sneakers and ****fit. I'm for sure looking for another plan/insurance company to transfer to.Physicians Mutual Insurance Company
