Elkhorn Lawn Care was hired to fertilize and otherwise treat my lawn. Following the first few treatments, my lawn turned brown, and very large portions of it died. I discontinued service and reluctantly paid the final bill, even though I don't feel it is right that I should have to pay for a service that not only didn't feed my lawn, and actively killed it.

    Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/11/19) */
    Good afternoon Mr. ********,

We see that we applied step 1 fertilizer on 4/26/22 and step 2 fertilizer on 6/13/22 for your lawn. We stopped services for your property after 60 days due to non payment.

We tried to contact you for payment of applications but to no prevail. Then quite some time after, you claim that our product killed your turf and canceled in July.

The product used has a zero chance of causing turf burn or damage to your lawn. Even if triple the amount of product was used, it would still not "kill" your lawn.

If there were concerns during the first two applications, we would have like to have known as soon as possible afterwards, to inspect the issues.

There is a chance you may have had a fungus issue, or another issue which is not related to our organic fertilizer that was used on your turf.

We also still show that you have an overdue balance on your account from the June application. You have only paid one invoice from April 2022.

    Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/11/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
OK. Then I we should not have to pay for the last application. I would appreciate it if you close out the June invoice. Thank you.

    Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/12/05) */
    Good morning Mr. ********,

We will close out the open invoice for you to close this case.

If any other questions arise, please contact us at any time.

    Thank you,
