Due to straight-line winds, we had roof, siding, and gutter damage. We hired South O Roofing to do all the repairs and were overwhelmed at how professional, quick, and conscientious they were in completing the work. We've had other insurance claim work done on our home and delt with a lack of communication & shoddy work that ended up costing us more money to fix. Our experience with South O was fantastic! They communicated with our insurance company & kept us in the loop at every stage. They successfully negotiated for things we didn't even know we could get! Everyone on their team was efficient, courteous, and kind. Our home looks incredible and we are forever grateful.South O Roofing

Met D***** with South O Roofing at a home event. I told him we have had a hard time finding a roofer to fix our roof. He said he can do it and he did a great job. He told us what we needed and why, explained everything to us and made sure we understood. He was friendly, professional and prideful in the work his team did. South Omaha Roofing did a great job repairing my shed roof. Quality work and clean up. The repair matched perfectly! Their roof, window and siding specialist Dennis Below represented their company beautifully! He was knowledgable, professional and friendly. Due to storm damage, we recently had our roof replaced by South Omaha Roofing located in Ralston. I would highly recommend contacting Dennis B**** 531-375-8045 at SOR to be your licensed contractor. Dennis followed up immediately after receiving our call. He not only took care of replacing our roof but also had our screens, siding, gutters & window wraps replaced - all in a timely manner. After seeing the work he did for us, several of my neighbors contracted with him too and had the same wonderful service. 1 starIn 2021 South O Roofing replaced my roof. In 2024 I noticed leaks in both of my skylights and in two places in a bedroom. I called South O and talked to the owner - Byron. He informed me that he is not in a hurry to repair this (I had a 5 year guarantee in writing for workmanship). He stated they are very busy. He then informed me that after 3 years I still owed him money (although I had not received any Invoices in the 3-year period).
I had to call another roofer who tried to contact Byron about the damage and the color of my shingles (so he could fix Byron's problems). Byron would not accept the call. Rather hid behind his receptionist and provided her with incorrect color and shingle type - in the hopes to further damage my roof. He asked her to relay this incorrect information to the roofer correcting Byron's mistakes. The type of shingle he said he used is not allowed to be used anymore.
The skylight manufacturer's rep came to my house and verified the skylights were installed incorrectly.
I am just hoping to prevent any other homeowner from enduring added expense from the mistakes of a subpar roofer.Review fromTracey L

1 starThis company is horrible! Had them come out to give me a FREE estimate which is a lie.
Of course insurance claim from hail and they jacked up all the pricing. Roughly $35k for siding/gutters and roughly $15k for roof. My insurance came back with only replacing my siding/gutters and for roughly $20k. Within 72 hours of receiving my insurance claim paperwork I emailed them and told them I couldn’t go with them due to huge cost difference and insurance was only covering my siding.
They received a copy of my insurance claim so they knew what was covered and what wasn’t and the amount I received. They didn’t even work with me to lower the cost for the siding/gutters. Mind you I didn’t even have a choice between aluminum or vinyl siding.
I told them TWICE I didn’t want to sign a contract with them as I wanted to get other estimates. They made it seem I had to sign just for an estimate. Yes I signed which I had a lot of personal crap going on and my mind wasn’t all there. In this so called contract it states I have 72 hours after I receive my insurance claim to cancel.
They sent me to collections and I owe them roughly $4500 cause I cancelled.
I received two other estimates and they were roughly $16k for my siding/ gutters.
How do you expect someone to pay out of pocket roughly $35k on something that doesn’t cost that much.
I would give them a no star rating if I could.
