    In Sept 2023 we hired DeLoa& Son to remodel two bathrooms and a pantry in the laundry room. We winter in Florida so they had from Oct to may to complete the work. We had a relative from Denmark coming to stay with us on May 8th so the work had to be done by May 1st.
    We paid the invoices on time as soon as we received them. However they were impossible to make sense. They changed software for billing in the middle of the job and the invoices did not make sense and were duplicated. They said they would straighten it out later. When we arrived back in town on May 1st the house was completly full of drywall dust. The work was not complete and the drywall was not even sanded in spots. The work was beyond subpar it was completly unacceptable. With little time left ***** ***** came to inspect the work and agreed to have a crew finish. The crew was unable to do drywall finishing and after days of work had not completed anything to my satisfaction. I let them go so I could finish get the bathroom done so my cousin could at least use the toilet.
    After he left ***** came back and we discussed all the things that needed to be redone. The knee wall around the tub was 1 inch out of plumb in less than 4 foot. Shower doors would not close and were installed wrong, cabinets were hung with nails protruding inside and were ruined. Tile was chipped and installed caulk was everywhere never cleaned up. All in all there was not one item that was professionally done. He did have another crew come back and redo the wall around the tub and he did a great job. He also did some other work that was good, he was great. We had to have a glass company come to repair both shower doors because ***** would not do anything other than put the sweep on backward so the door would stay shut but not self close. It was obvious to me that he did not know what he was doing, the door would not shut because the hinge was installed wrong and was not tight to the wall. There is not near enough space to cont

    We were following the guid lines of your designer. Which kept changing along the way. As in tile layout lighting, wrong cabinets. Wrong cabinet layouts. Wrong door for Laundry room. ( Which is weird that its not mentioned here.) We went back every time to fix or repair and disputes.Everytime we left everyone was happy. Then several days passed and then there were more changes or fixes. When ***** left shower door was plumb and working properly as you were the witness. Tub wall was repaired and retiled. Then you came back to us for money to settle thing's you didn't like. Which we also paid to keep you happy.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    We were not happy with the shower doors or the tile work. It was plain that ***** did not know what he was doing with the shower door. It did not self close and stay closed. The door leaked onto the floor and we paid a glass door company $250.00 to repair both doors. They said that the doors were not probperly installed and that one of the hinges wass not crewed into the backing.The tile was installed with chips  and was not in line, had uneven grout lines and missing grout. Some of the spacers were left in and grouted over. All in all none of the tile work was good enough, 
    We cannot have them redo the entire bathroom shower tile we can't take the mess. We just ask for the amount to be reduced for the inferior job. We did not pay good money for poor craftmanship. ***** was unable to see the flaws.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    There is no quality of work and he refused to compensate me for shabby workmanship. 

    As you can see in the photos and I have many more the tile is chipped and installed out of line this could have easily been corrected when tile was cut but they installed known flaws when we had extra tile they were unable to use the tile cutter without chipping tile. Unabe to line grout joints and left spacers in tile and grouted over them. The workmanship is the worst I have seen and I spent 37 years in the construction business. I had to hire a glass door contractor to remove the shower doors and reinstall so they would close and not leak. They had to install new sweeps because the original ones were cu t wrong and installed incorrect.
