      Thrasher told me they would lift my cement stairs up and seal cracks in my pavement. They came out and tried, but they could not raise it to level promised. Blamed me for not removing railing (never told me) and that stairs were solid, heavy. I cut railings off and they came out again and raised it minimally. They did a good job with the cracks. They couldn’t raise stairs anymore, 4 inches short of height promised. I’m now left with stairs pretty much same, and now no railing. I wanted to pay less because they didn’t do what they said they would. I wanted $1000 off price and was told $500 but would have to go through management. Next day I was told only $300, that alot of product, time, and gas money was used. I begged them up to $400. This was my experience with Thrasher. Yours may be different, but this was mine and one I will tell to everyone I have the opportunity to tell.

      If I could post 0 stars, I would. Just wanted to share our experience.

      Our first house in NE, basement flooded and so I have been probably over cautious with the new house. While I have always heard snide small comments about Thrasher, they’ve been good to us and did great work on the old house. We have been using them for 17 years.

      For this house, they have come out yearly the last 7 years, just to check sump pump and perform annual maintenance, we have never had issues.

      So…..imagine our shock and surprise when they come back with an estimate of $36,000 because “your house is sinking” - the technician used terms “aggressiveness of the cracks, damage, settlement to that right back corner of the house, and active movement” in emails.

      The “aggressive” cracks that the technician referred to, that are causing “damage” have been reviewed by Thrasher yearly, last done 06/2024, and we were always advised that they are nonstructural and are no cause for concern.

      The following week, we have had 3 (three) 2nd (second) opinions / estimates completed by 3 separate companies that specialize in waterproofing and foundation repair as well as are BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited. ALL 3 companies, concluded that absolutely no work needs to be done on our house, that it is not settling (or sinking as the tech verbally said), all measurements are level, there is no interior issues/cracks, and that any foundation cracks that are there, are small/nonstructural and are no cause for concern and they definitely are not aggressive.

      I spoke to the technicians manager who stood behind the techs assessment and asked me to follow up after we got a 2nd opinion. I emailed the above to him on 6/25/25 with no response.

      So….I no longer support Thrasher and they have lost a loyal customer. I strongly encourage that if you do support them, to get a 2nd opinion before you sign any contracts with them.

      Hi ***. First, thank you for being a loyal Thrasher customer for the past 17 years. That kind of trust means a lot to us, and we’re genuinely sorry we’ve damaged it.
      We’ve clearly missed the mark here, both in communication and how we handled your concerns. You deserved a thoughtful, timely response to your questions, and we didn’t provide that. We’re especially sorry for the delay in follow-up after your email, and we’ve already addressed that internally to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
      We’re grateful you took the time to speak with **** this morning. He and **** will be coming out to meet with you on the 14th to take another look at everything together. We want to slow down, listen, and make sure you feel fully informed and confident about any findings or recommendations moving forward.
      Your feedback was honest and fair, and we’re taking it seriously. Thank you for being open to continuing the conversation, we’re committed to earning back your trust.

      On June 26, 2025, ****, the "salesman" for Thrasher, offered a "same day discount" and a 30 day price match guarantee (in writing), if you "signed the contract at the time of inspection”. A 20% deposit was required with the guarantee if they couldn't price match a competitors bid, they would gladly refund the deposit. They scheduled the work for July 3rd, although I told them
      I had more bids coming, so I called and moved the work date back to July 21st, **** called me and was quite annoyed that I moved the work date so I had more time to take bids. I emailed them 2 bids on July 4th and immediately received a call from ****. He was very upset that he couldn't price match either bid, and starting bad-mouthing the other businesses "quality of work". Eventually, he stated he would cancel my contract and "see what he could do" about refunding the deposit
      I called on July 7th to verify the job was canceled and check on the refund. I was told that I had only 3 days to "cancel the contract" and therefore I couldn't get a refund! I explained the 30 day price match guarantee and I had bids they wouldn't match, she didn't care. I then told her that I would be disputing the charges through Visa as Thrasher had done no work at my property. She then completely changed her tune, saying "she didn't know about the bids they wouldn't match". Complete lie, as I had started the conversation telling her about the lower bids being the reason for canceling the job! She then stated "well I just misspoke about no refunds after 3 days". They have issued me a full refund, but I feel their business practices are unethical. They intentionally schedule jobs quickly as to limit the number of bids you can receive, then try to intimidate you, refusing to refund, when you choose a competitor. Not a company that deserves the BBB A+ rating.

      I chose thrasher bc it looked like they had good reviews. I had Thrasher come to look at my garage and basement. Cole showed up, was very professional and said I had moisture coming through my basement wall and suggested waterproofing. I said ok and put a deposit, set a date, he said I could contact him anytime and was out the door. I received an email from a Laurel claiming to be the project manager the next morning.
      So me and my children rearranged my whole house, emptied the basement, I took off work as well as had my niece take off work and come over to help me run my kids around after school on May 15. The guys were to show between 10-12. At 11 the person who was supposed to do the work text me and said he’d reach out when he was on his way. At 4ish I reached out to the guys supposed to be coming, the project manager, then Cole, then the office around 5 as I had heard from NO ONE. Finally 530 the the guys who were working responded then Cole saying sorry the job was taking longer than expected. AFTER I reached out. Get the job rescheduled with the office but the guys doing the work were offering me a different day and time. I was confused. I decided to cancel. I can’t work with people who can not communicate. I reached out to Cole, Customer Service and Laura AGAIN trying to confirm they cancelled the job and would refund my deposit. Cole finally responded saying the job was cancelled but they don’t give back deposits but he would talk to someone. ?? I STILL have NOT heard from Laurel or back from Cole and it has been days!. I have sent multiple emails. I am not the one who no called no showed to the job, I’m not the one not communicating, I took off work and rearranged my whole house for them to do this job. Do not recommend!

      I thought I was calling a reliable or dependable company. However, what I’ve learned is that I feel like I was bullied into buying their system. After a misinformed quote, the person who gave me the quote no longer with the company; the team that installed the sump pump complained that the quote was wrong. A lot of extra work that I had to financially endure because no one was honest. Then I needed warranty repairs and that person to no longer be with the company, the person who did the fixes counteract what the original person said to do. I regret ever going with this company for a situation. I don’t even know if I really had a problem water in my basement or somebody was just looking for a sale. I do not recommend this company and if you use them for a quote, make sure you get multiple quotes if you do so you don’t make the same mistake that I did.

      The initial estimate by Reggie and the fact I had the 50 percent off labor made it affordable for me work went well but when I gave them the cashiers check for the balance it went downhill ! I started being billed for that amount and sent numerous text and emails to pay again ! Their accounting department did not process my check right and I am now having to get a new one ! Kara reached out to me and listened to my frustration's! !
      She is now handling it personably and gave me a discount for all my time and frustrations !

      I had them work on 3 different projects. Their works were ok but after sale service is horrible. Once I signed the contract (even not paid yet), I could not have anyone answering my question or concern. Within their team, there was not a good coordination. The poly lift team kept changing the dates without checking with other team. Not very impressed. Seems like they just want to sell but no after sale service.

      Thrasher did an A+ job in communicating with us about what we were purchasing, scheduling the waterproofing in the basement and did a stellar job at all of it. Amazing customer service with Doug and great work with the crew.

      The installers don't know what they are doing. They did a terrible job with the installations. And they are way over priced.. if you need foundation work find a reputable foundation company. This company doesn't care about there customers it's just all about the money.
