I ordered a custom painted side table for a client 11.6.23 and paid 50% down ($340).For one year now I have been getting the run around when I asked when this table is completed. The normal lead time in the *************** industry is 8-10 weeks and if custom 2-4 months. After 9 months, my contact person left the company and the replacement person informed me they would turn around this table immediately. After a few more correspondences, that individual went dark on me and now they won't return calls. I left messages on their phones, email and their parent company. It's not a lot of money, but if they have no intention on making this table, they really should notify me and credit my clients. If they are planning on still making it, they should prioritize this since it has been a year and contact me immediately.

On Oct 10, 2023, I paid eCustomFinishes, a division of Bingham Lumber, $975.00 for a custom made table. This was 50% of the total cost. (Quote attached). On Jan 17, 2024, I was informed that there would be a slight delay. There was no further communication until Mar 8, 2024 when ******, the sales **** said she would try to get a completion date on my order. After numerous phone calls, I was informed on Apr 24, 2024 that there would be a tentative due date of May 12, 2024. On June 5, 2024 I asked for an update. ****** could provide no further information and stopped returning my calls or updating me on email. I reached the owner, *** Bingham. On a series of phone calls in July and August, he told me the table was in production, the table was ready for finishing coats, and the table could be shipped in the next few weeks. He told me he would send me pictures. These were not truthful statements. I have heard nothing. I asked for a refund of my initial deposit of $975 since it was 11 months since this order was placed. The company has not responded. I uploaded all of the emails, along with the quote.

Please see uploaded information. I ordered a custom made console table in November 2023 and paid a deposit of $940. I would either like my table or my money back. They will not answer my calls regarding the problem.

I was charged 9/7/23 by Bingham Lumber, 9/5/23 $2,000, 9/26 $4,803.75. I had received a sample of the wood I was purchasing and agreed to buy 800sqft. The wood was very overdue being ready for pick-up and on 10/26/23 the wood was picked up. It was wrapped in plastic and was not visible to inspect. The wood was delivered and was the wrong wood. Since the wood was late in arriving and was transported from out of State and brought over on a ferry and needed to sit for two weeks before being installed and my old flooring was already ripped out and we were getting into cold weather and could not live in the house or run my business I asked for the difference returned to me of the cheap wood sent and the expensive wood I bought. I was promised a refund and daily checked to see if it had been sent out and was told yes, but couldn't get a tracking number. After many excuses about my refund for a month I read about this company on Yelp and how the owner has done this same thing to many clients and cheated them by sending inferior wood and the wrong amount of wood any never paying back the buyers after agreeing to.

My lawyer sent a demand letter for the money reimbursement promised for the difference in price of the cheaper wood they send and the agree upon money owed to me. Our next step will be court. Since they have pulled this with many other people, I know this company is not honest. Other people took them to court and won and they still never got paid. I want to warn the public about doing business with this company. Thanks for your help. ***** *******

On January 21, 2023, we visited Bigham Lumber's retail showroom. They provided a quote for 1200 sqft of white oak flooring, to be delivered in 4-5 weeks. They indicated they had plenty of inventory. The price was $9.95/sqft. On this day, we made a 50% deposit ($6107.50). Our carefully planned project was supposed to start on Feb 28th, 2023.

Every week from February 15th, we called Tom B****** (owner) for a status update. Every week we got the same story, essentially, “next week.” In June, the desperation mounted. We called more frequently. We took several days off to be home to receive the wood. Each time, Tom made some bogus excuse on the 'supposed' day of delivery. Finally after months of pleading with Tom, wood arrived—Wednesday June 28, 2023. We have photographic evidence of the delivery & we paid the balance for the order

Our installers began on Thurs July 20 (after letting the wood dry in place) & immediately noticed the wood looked to be less than 1200sqft. By Saturday June 22 after installing all the wood, with little if any waste, it was confirmed we were short (photographic evidence) The installers estimated Tom shorted ~200sqft of wood-- Bigham's only delivered 1,000sqft of flooring—we have multiple source documentation. We called Tom immediately to remedy that situation. Interestingly, during this phone call, Tom quickly conceded it was possible it was not the contracted amount of wood. He knew he had done this and promised to remedy it.

Every day since July 22, 2023 we have been on a goose chase to get the additional supply of wood—to total the 1200 sqft that we paid for.

On August 1, Tom told me we could come pick up the wood ourselves. My husband sat in his showroom all day waiting for them to relinquish the wood. He rented a Uhual to transport the wood himself. However on that day, Bighams could only scrape together partial fulfillment—that was another 65 sqft, not the full order. Every day we call or text. Every day Tom has a new excuse.

On 3/9/22 I ordered from Bingham Lumber Inc. 2,200 sq ft of long and wide flooring and paid the deposit. On 7/25/22 the company informed me that the flooring was finished, and I immediately paid the remaining due. The company stated that they would store the flooring at no cost until I needed it.

On 12/19/22, I informed them that I needed the flooring shipped in January of 2023. Since then, they said multiple times the flooring was going to be shipped but for many "reasons" it wasn't shipped (weather, truck breakdown, lack of delivery company interest, etc.).

In order to have the paid-for flooring on site, I hired a local driver to me to pick up the wood at a great expense. (Both my driver and I informed the company of the pick up date in advance.) On 2/21/24, my driver picked up several wrapped loads from them. He was unable to visually verify the contents of the loads.

When my delivery arrived, it was not what I ordered and the most important part, the 14" wide flooring ,was missing. I talked with Bingham immediately after noticing the problem. He responded that he just didn't load it. He said he would send the missing lumber and was "committed to having the wood to me by next week and "We are watching the weather. Worse case Saturday am".

On 3/2/22, I sent another text message to Tom asking about the wood. Again, he texted that he would send the delivery tracking information. He did not.

It is Saturday and no wood was delivered.

I can not continue "wishing" and planning for the wood to be delivered given this pattern "promising" the delivery.

I can not continue waiting for flooring as the construction delay costs are becoming too great. Hence, I must order the flooring from another lumber company immediately. My estimate for a refund is around $25k for the missing boards (all the premium 14" boards and the other missing 10"+ more narrow boards).

spec order: ***** from Binghmam Lumber
