    Did not want to give even one star but had to in order to submit a review. Totally unethical and unprofessional doesnt even scratch the surface for this company. We were shorted material in our delivery, and even after this company acknowledged that we were owed a refund, and months of us calling, texting and e-mailing the owner (only to get excuse after excuse), they have only refunded us a portion of the amount owed to us. Apparently this is the norm for this company. Now the company has been taken over by or partnered with Belletetes Lumber, who refuses to address the issue, stating it happened before they took over. Not professional business practice for either company. Steer clear of both!!!

    On August 31, 2022 I placed an order for reclaimed wood of $11,205 to Bingham Lumber. Due to weather delays in the construction I was allowed to hold my order at Bingham until I was ready to have it shipped. Over the ensuing one year we have had cost overruns and a host of other challenges not only at the construction site but at home which included death and severe illnesses. It became evident to me approximately five weeks ago that due to a multitude of factors as well as my paying for the log home out of pocket that having at this time $11,205 out there unavailable was a luxury that I could ill afford. I contacted ***, owner of Bingham Lumber *** approximately five weeks ago and requested a refund of my order and my reasons for requesting such. He seemed so empathetic during that call and stated that there does not appear to be a reason why I couldn't be granted a refund. Mind you, the $11,205 order is still in Bingham's warehouse and I was just requesting a refund. *** informed me that he needed to clear the matter with his business partner *****. Days went by and no results. Whatever *** promised, be it something as simple as to call me, was rarely kept. There was always an excuse as to why my request could not be granted at the moment. I even offered *** that I would settle for $7,000 in order to expedite the refund request but after *** stated that he and his business partner were interested in that arrangement, nothing happened except more delays. *** at one point recently informed me that I was not entitled to a refund due to the nonrefundable statement at the bottom of my receipt after I made the payment. After review of my receipt, I explained to *** that it was unethical business practice to have a nonrefundable policy statement on the receipt after the sale was made but not on the website. *** and Bingham still have the order in their warehouse and I have no refund. This is a common consumer complaint of Bingham from the online reviews.
