Price Gauging I was charged $5.399 per gallon upon expiration of fixed new customer pricing (1 yr.). They delivered 200+ gallons within weeks at this rate (NH state average $4.03 and local competitor $3.75). I was not provided a notice of the expiring agreement nor warned what the prevailing rate was (and it isn't published on their website). I assumed I would be receiving a competitive, market correct rate going forward for being an automatic delivery customer. Instead, I was taken advantage of and have little recourse. I did call for an invoice correction and was told that the only way to reduce the price is to enter into another fixed price contract (and pay $100 to do so). That rate was $4.00/gallon which is higher than the historic averages. This is a very deceptive business practice (lawful?). I feel for individuals (especially fixed income) that have been preyed upon. I will be paying the bill (so my credit doesn't get affected), switching companies pronto and considering legal action under the deceptive business practice statute.

Just horrible I had an appointment for Monday, October 14th to match a day I could take a day off to meet them. I called the morning of the 14th to confirm. The day of the appointment - no show, no call and when I called, they could not give me an answer. They called me about 3:45 to tell me that they would not be there but could be there the next day. I had to leave that night but during my wait, I discovered a problem with the heating system where a zone was heating non-stop resulting in a zone at 90 degrees. I asked that the tech to call me prior as we have a larger problem and that would need to be taken care of before any other work could be ************** morning the technician called me, I informed him of the larger issue, and he told me I did not know what I was talking about (attitude). I asked him to confirm the larger issue prior to any work. He called me 2 hours later telling me he was complete and that there was no other issue. Two days later the house was back at 90 degrees. I called Rymes to return and they stated they could not come back for several days. I needed to find a new resource to get in the house immediately. They determined that I had a bad circulator and replaced it. I called for 4 weeks asking asked to talk with their supervisor. They took my info but never called me back. I only received a one-sided email stating that they performed the work they were asked to do. My heating system was running no-stop but they looked the other way and only performed the requested maintenance, and did not take a look at a 90degree home and why there may be a problem. I found Rymes only focused on getting in, getting out, and charging you for poor work. I find their lack of professionalism and courtesy horrible. I am not asking for any refund, only wanted a call back to review the situation. If I had received a call back, this review would not be here. I am forced to make a complaint and warn anyone else to steer clear of this company.

If I could give zero stars I would. Rymes propane and oil is the absolute worst heating oil and propane supplier. They are a completely incompetent, inept and an unethical company. I am not surprised that they have had so many other complaints and have all 1 star reviews. I had a half of a tank worth of propane that was already paid for and they came out and disconnected and locked out my tank for absolutely no reason. They did not provide any notice or any reason for locking out my propane tank. By the time I got home from work their office hours were closed so I called the 24/7 service and asked why my services were shut off. I was told I cant give out that information. In reality they shut my services off by mistake because the propane had already been paid for and there were no other safety concerns or valid reasons for the tank to be shut off. I requested that they send someone back out to turn my propane back on to fix their mistake. I was told that this is not considered an emergency and I will have to go without propane until they can get back to me. Me and my family have been robbed and left without propane for all of our gas appliances even though we were up to date with payment and by no fault of our own. I have never experienced such an incompetent company.

Stuck paying 4.69 a gallon for propane... How can the gas station costs less? And I got 200+ gallons delivered in three months so its not a lack of consumption. Heat isn't a choice, seems criminal the rates they charge, and good luck getting an answers..

Wanted to give them a zero but that's not happening. I have been a faithful customer since 2000. I have had my furnace replaced, repaired, cleaned etc through them. I kept having them come to figure out the issue. They kept ordering parts and working on it. They would charge me for the work and the parts, but it didn't solve the problem. I would have to call them twice a day on several occasions. I finally had a different repairman come. There were so many things wrong. Parts were loose, wrong parts, some were backwards, etc. I am a very unhappy customer that has dished out alot of money for literally nothing. Time to find a new oil company. They definitely took advantage of a customer who trusted them.

Rymes (aka ******** ****) is the WORST company! They ran gas lines under my park model home with bare piping that was not up to code and had multiple kinks in the line. I lost an entire tank of gas due to the leaks in the line. When I called to report the leak, it took them 3 hours to call me back. By that time, my husband had shut down the gas and canceled the appointment. Four hours after the initial call, someone came out to slap a tag on the tank and said there would be no charge. I ended up calling another propane company that was HORRIFIED by the way they ran the lines. He stated how dangerous it was and that we were lucky we weren't killed. I paid them to ri[p out everything and redo it to code. Rymes is now saying I owe $257 for the service call. Even though they told us twice that there would be no charge. Never mind the full tank of gas I lost. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! When I called to discuss the situation, the service manager refused to budge on the charge. There is a reason why they have 1.8 stars!

Ex-customer I want to know how Rymes can legally refuse to deliver propane to a condo up on Crotched Mountain. They refuse because a neighbor refuses to clean up after their dog but that isn't the only direction they can take to get to the tank. Their refusing has left a home with children without heat. How is this legal? If the electric company can't shut off power during the winter how can an oil company refuse delivery to a customer that IS PAID UP and has never been behind on payments. They have always paid their bill! And have been repeatedly charged for emergency deliveries because they ran out during these delivery refusals. This isn't right! And if I didn't know better I'd swear they are doing this on purpose to get more money from people who can't afford this crap treatment.

If I could give a no star review, I would. We are being charged a second time for propane we had prepaid for out of the surplus from the 21/22 budget plan year. We have spent hours on the phone and going over our bills. Their customer service is terrible. I have talked on the phone to people who say they will get back to us and days go by until I call again to know avail. I have sent several emails and left several voicemails and no one responds.
