On 8.21 I visited My Eye Dr in Dover, NH for an eye appointment. I needed to get a new prescription. I had a feeling that the office was not happy with me because I wanted to get my prescription and use it with another glasses vendor. For this reason, I specified more than once that I needed my prescription for both reading glasses and my distance/progressives. On being given the prescription by optician Sean in the office, I directly asked him if this is all I need for BOTH my prescriptions. He assured me that yes, that was the case. On receiving my order from Glasses USA, I realized that the glasses were only good for VERY close vision. I called My Eye Dr to say I was trying to figure out whether the prescription was wrong or the glasses were built incorrectly. I was told to come in so they could look at them. I did that today. After Sean spent time trying to convince me with dots all over the glasses that I just didn't get them adjusted properly, I re-emphasized that I can't see ANYTHING past a few feet, but on removing the glasses altogether, I could see MUCH better. Eventually he admitted that he had given me the wrong prescription. He gave me the correct one, hoping that I would go away, but I insisted that I be made whole for the cost. His manager came over and told me that since I did not spend money with them (not true...they're a health care provider and I pay for my services there!) they couldn't do anything for me. I was told to leave, so I did. I am CERTAIN that this was done to me intentionally, which is even more aggravating. Item ****** is the prescription I was given on 8.21.23. The circle was added on my visit 9.5.23. Item ****** is the receipt for my glasses order which I placed based on the prescription given to me on 8.21.23. Item ****** is the NEW prescription given to me after I visited the establishment to ascertain whether the glasses were built wrong, or I was given the wrong prescription.

On March 6, I and my husband went to My Eye Doctor in Dover New Hampshire to get an eye exam and order glasses. My Eye Doctor promised both pairs of glasses would be ready by March 20. On March 20, my husband's glasses were ready. My glasses, however, were not. They had been made in the wrong prescription, despite instructions from the optometrist at My Eye Doctor on how to do them correctly. My Eye Doctor promised to have the glasses made properly and ready for me within a week. They planned to expedite the order. The glasses were not ready on March 27. Or on April 3. Or on April 10. I called on April 10 and was told that the glasses, in the proper prescription, would be ready by April 13. They weren't. I called on April 18 to ask, again, where the glasses were. My Eye Doctor said the glasses might be ready by April 21. My Eye Doctor is clearly unable to fill a glasses prescription properly and on time. I want both a refund of the glasses I didn't get ($620.50) and a refund of the eye exam charges, since I now have to go to another provider to get my eye wear and will need another eye exam.
