    Brought my 2 kids for an eye exam. Picked out glasses for both, and ordered them together. One order was late by 2 days past the "promise date". Now I need to return to the store with both kids in rush hour traffic for a third time cause the second pair isn't ready. The second pair of glasses hasn't come in 7 days past the promise date. I received no communication via text or call. After 7 days I had to call them. They told me after a really long hold, that they "should" be done and available for pick up in 2 days. When asking what they do when they miss the "promise date". I was told that it's not a promise, it's an estimate. Why call it a promise when they can't meet it. I ended the call being very frustrated that they don't keep their promises and didn't offer anything to make amends. Will not be returning.

    I recently encountered significant challenges with MyEyeDoctor that I feel need to be addressed. Firstly, their operational hours seem inconsistent; calling them shortly after their opening time, I was met with an automated response indicating they were closed, which was quite perplexing. Moreover, my experience with ordering replacement glasses was far from satisfactory. After placing my order and waiting for several weeks, I was informed that my glasses were mistakenly ordered in Dover, DE, rather than Dover, NH, where my request was initially made. This error has not only delayed the arrival of my new glasses but also forced me to rely on an outdated prescription in the interim. The lack of attention to detail and the subsequent inconvenience caused by these oversights have been incredibly frustrating. I hope MyEyeDoctor addresses these issues promptly to improve their service for future customers.

    My husband and I are extremely disappointed with them. First, they're incredibly difficult to schedule an appointment with their doctor. Second, my husband went to them 4 times with a sty and they were unable to help him at all -though they charged for every visit. Finally, I ordered new lenses for existing frames. They called me to say their lab broke my frames. They wanted me to come pick out new frames and pay for at 50% off. They wanted me to pay them MORE MONEY to get another set of frames because they broke mine. They’ve created an oddly worded warranty (where they would “credit me new lenses and 50% off new frames” if my frames broke in their lab). I took that to mean I’d have to pay for new frames at a reduced price but I’d get the lenses free. That still puts me out of pocket half the price of new frames (plus the cost of my original frames that they broke), but I signed the waiver. Come to find out, they're not satisfied with taking that amount of money from me. They want more. They’re saying I still have to pay for the lenses ($784) PLUS purchase new frames (50% off), and they won’t recompense me for the broken frames. Theoretically, this means they could break any frame that isn’t theirs to get more money from customers. Yes, that’s unethical, but their warranty allows it. So, I’m challenging it in small claims court. It seems to me to be a shady business practice, and not surprisingly, my family and I will take our business elsewhere.
