I hired Cory to replace a door. He asked for a deposit in order to buy materials. Cory gave me every excuse in the books as to why he couldn’t show up, or he would say he would show and never did. It’s been 8 months, he never returned my check like promised and my door was never replaced.

PHX replaced and put a new roof on my house. The quality of workmanship was so poor and there were so many mistakes/ problems that we had to replace the new roof just 3 months after his roofing solution was completed. BTW, it took 3 1/2 weeks and we fired him prior to completion to stop further damage on our home. Look at his insurance certificate carefully as there was no workers comp. Run Away!!!!

Ah yes….**….Mr.Type A personality! There’s really not enough space in this forum to write a really good quality response to about this guy and the experience! Let’s just say so much so he even tried to rewrite the contract to fit himself only! That should have been the red flag! This guy single handily started the business problem that it had an extreme trickle down effect with projects scheduled after his….which 100% gave us future problems that became the catalyst to the problems we have now. We’re in a civil case that we filed against him that has held up a lot of money for our small business….so can’t say to much here as we don’t want to ruin it for our side of the case….two years of holding on to materials that are very expensive going on 3 years now! Now he wants to come here and use this forum as misery loves company right….we’re definitely telling our story in layers as that’s all we can do! People like him are out to try and get insurance monies and when the insurance company laughs at him, he joins a misery social media page like a bunch of middle school kid bullies….we’re NOT going to turn the other cheek anymore we’ve had enough and we’re going to fight back and we’re doing it case by case as it should be. Again this man is and has been the start and tricking down to future projects by holding up a lot of money for our small business….we’ve lost laborers that walked off the project because they didn’t want to get physical with him and his conduct. I’d really like to say the real facts here about what he really did coming after insurance company from day one as he felt he was going to get a free project it was all about the insurance for him above and beyond want any homeowner asks the day we started he called to ask limits and details he also tried to be added to the policy as a second and had problems on roof long before we started then tried to make it out to us…great thing for before after and during videos…..this man also asked for us to do things that go against industry standards and extras that voice manufacturer warranties…..again we really want to say more but don’t want to spoil our case! We also have the recordings from insurance company highlighting just how off the wall this guy is! This is just an effort on his part to be part of the misery crowd that honestly is happened because of us being behind on his project and over budget….so if you want to come here and slam us tell the whole truth don’t come here saying 1/2 truths!
We will not respond again to this thread or to anyone else coming here for purpose of trashing us!!!!
It’s awfully good to have this for the public and have nothing of an equal for a contractor to say to other contractors or public about unreasonable, unrealistic, unethical people!
We normally don’t respond to any of these because it’s just sour grapes….but this guy here we really wanted to!
