  It's always a little scary to step into a big, expensive project with a company for the first time, but we couldn't have chosen a better one. The entire ALC team was professional, responsive, helpful, transparent, and respectful. I was floored by the design they came up with to add a dormer and front porch to our odd-shaped house - they looked like they had belonged there from the beginning. The project leaders were fantastic at addressing questions and concerns, and Brian, the owner, was always easy to reach if needed. The customer service and all-around integrity of this company were worth every penny. We will definitely be using ALC again for future home projects!

  Where to begin?! Our house consisted of an original build with an in law attached by a breeze way on the first floor. After deciding to get rid of the breeze way and connect the in-law with the main house we started our search for a contractor for the massive job. After many recommendations from friends we set our sights on ALC designs for our massive remodel. From the start Brian and his team came up with a great model of what our house could eventually look like. 3D imaging along with a great designer helped put our dream house in reach. After taking our considerations as well into consideration the work began. Brian and his team of Will, Lenny, and Mark were absolutely fantastic. Will ran the job and Lenny and Mark were incredible craftsman and just great people! After the first month they already seemed like family! From framing to cabinetry work to tiling and finishing touches including as Brian called it an “aircraft island” in the kitchen these guys absolutely killed it. Our dream house went from our minds to a 3D image on our tv and now finally an everyday reality. Thank you guys again for everything!

  After ALC Design did such beautiful work on our whole house renovation a few years ago, we didn't hesitate to reach back out for another project this summer. We had a small but disjointed outdoor space, typical for a city but with a deck on top of our garage that bleeds into our backyard, plus a separate area that was cut off by a fence and a retaining wall.
  
  We needed a new garage roof, which required ripping off the deck and roof, replacing the roof, and then rebuilding the deck. We also wanted electricity brought out to the garage for a future charging station and a new door.
  
  ALC went beyond the basic ask and developed a totally new concept that fully integrated our garage, deck, yard, retaining wall, and house. Galen's architectural renderings were gorgeous, and Phil brought it all to life in collaboration with a landscaping/hardscaping company we hired.
  
  Now we have a gorgeous new deck connected to our house via a bridge overlooking a stunning yard, with new steps and a pathway that leads to our refurbished garage. It's a true oasis in the city, and it wouldn't have been possible without ALC's vision and execution. Thank you Brian, Galen, Phil, and Len!

  ALC just completed a bathroom remodel for me and I couldn’t be happier. It was a great experience from start to finish. I have an old house, which has challenges of its own, but getting exactly what I wanted, keeping it close to looking its age was not a problem at all. Brian and Kris, along with everyone they brought in, were very easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. I was very pleased with the conscientious manner in the daily work; including the nightly cleanup. I’m generally fairly anal about things and had very little to comment on that needed a change or update. I love my beautiful new bathroom - you should see my refinished custom vanity!
  I have several other projects on my to do list and ALC will absolutely be the first I call to have the work done; no question.

  ALC just completed their 4th major project for me, a major window replacement and reconfiguration, for my living room overlooking the lake. Kris has been the ALC lead for all of my home upgrade projects (outdoor deck replacement and re-configuration project, plus kitchen, pantry and laundry room remodel project, plus upstairs and front hall remodel project). Plus there have been smaller jobs as well. Kris and Brain have been outstanding to work with, and Kris is a real craftsman when it comes to finishing wood trim details. Their next smaller project will be a new walkway from the house down to my lake dock later this year. I have recommended ALC to 2 of my neighbors, both of whom had large-scale house rebuild projects. They are still my neighbors and are well pleased with the results of working with ALC. I highly recommend ALC for design and construction work.

  We had our bathrooms done a few years ago, and then a full kitchen remodel with vaulted ceilings and skylights this year with ALC Design and we couldn't be happier! Brian and his team are wonderful to work with from start to finish. We will keep coming back to them for any future projects, and would heartily recommend them to anyone else!

  ALC did a wonderful job remodeling our master bathroom. From estimate through completion of the project, Brian and his team provided excellence in communication, design, and craftsmanship. Our lead carpenter, Kris, guided us through choices in the process with great expertise. From choosing tile to placement of towel bar, he provided us with everything needed to make the project a success. Kris worked hard every day until the bathroom was completed. He and his team were very respectful of our home, and even took care with the pets in the house. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

  The team at ALC Design has been incredible while completing our basement renovation. Brian is always available to talk through any questions or concerns, no matter how large or small. The team, lead by Phil, was there everyday working hard and keeping us up to date every step of the way. They made sure we were comfortable with the design, implementation and changes that occurred throughout the project. The quality of their work is top notch. We cannot wait to utilize our new beautiful basement!

  ALC and their whole team were top notch. They were a breath of fresh air after dealing with with a couple flaky contractors/builders prior to giving them a call. I cannot state how well they take you through the process of designing what's best for you. The amount of effort they put into our project and the quality of their work is beyond amazing. Highly recommended!

  The ALC Design team is fantastic! The team did a large renovation in our home (kitchen & guest bath redo, additional master suite with bathroom, new mudroom, and new living room). We were always kept informed and felt confident throughout the process. They are open to questions and want to make sure you understand how and why things are done and feel comfortable at all times during the project. Their work is impeccable and we couldn't be happier with the final result.
