This company used to be a reliable trustworthy company. I would prefer to give them zero stars but that wasn't an option. We have multiple pairs of shoes that the soles have crumbled on. We are not the only ones based on the ECCO ******** page and scrolling through the reviews here. ECCO refuses to do anything about it because they are more than a year old. Really?! These shoes cost over a $150 new and were never worn daily. We will never buy another pair of these shoes ever.

      Not even worth one star.
      Not even close.
This company a long time ago sold a quality product; but that was a long time ago
Now they sell a vastly inferior product and they have a very nasty attitude about being helpful and supportive.
A pair of shoes they gave me as restitution for a pair where the soles fell right off.....the soles fell off this shoe and they said it's not within the warranty. But it's obviously a gross defect in design and materials.
And this issue was restitution. It wasn't a purchase, so it doesn't even fall within their warranty details, but yet they continue to have a very nasty and uncooperative attitude..
I bought many many many pair of Ecco shoes over the years, but I will never ever buy any more from them again.
really shoddy materials and inferior durability don't do business with this company

If I could give a zero I would! They used to have at least some costumer service that you could call and resolve issues but now it's just by email. I bought 2 pairs of shoes just this month and one pair didn't fit, it runs really small even though I ordered my usual size. There was only packing sheet and no return label even! They used to have free returns if you have an account with them. I used to love their shoes and I almost exclusively wore their shoes, but quality now went so low that I don't think it's worth the price anymore! So, I sent an email asking for a return label and they responded that I have to pay for the return shipping, also they said that there is a label with the address on the back of the packing sheet, tho I'd have to pay. There is not even that address label on that packing sheet, and it's not on their website! I have no idea why their company started treating loyal customers so badly!

Zero Stars is what I think! Made purchase of quantity of 2 instead of 1. I realized immediately after hitting submit! I could not change/edit my order and now that the shoes arrived, it says I am not permitted to return 1 of the pairs. The phone number has a recording that says "sorry no one is available to help you" and the online chat says "sorry no one is available to assist you"! I am more than p***** and will never purchase from ECCO again and I will tell all 4000 employees where I work about my experience when I post to our intranet site! - *** ********

We are very sorry, but once an order has been placed, changes/modifications cannot be made due to the processing times in our warehouse. We can see that an email was received and you were directed on how to send the unwanted item(s) back for a refund. Did you receive the response sent 01/15/2024?
      Kind Regards,
      ECCO Customer Service

I've purchased their walking sandals several times, but the quality has really gone downhill in the last few years. I bought a pair 2 years ago that didn't last a year - I returned them under warranty and never heard from the company. I bought a pair from their website during their Thanksgiving sale this year, and the order was cancelled after 2 days, although they are still offering that model for sale. Extremely poor customer service!

      Customer service treated me awful.
I ordered a pair of shoes for my husband and was sent the wrong color. I got a really good deal on them so I did a chat with customer service and they sent me a return label and informed me to put a note in the package explaining what happed with the new color request. I later got an email saying I was being refunded so I emailed back with customer service explaining I wanted the order corrected with the right color and I also told them customer service told me I could do this.
The customer service worker was so rude and told me they don’t even have a phone number to contact customer service. I told her I did it by chat and I wasn’t lying. She went back and forth with remarks when I told her I’d just like to reorder the shoes at the price I got them. She informed me I could order them and they’d later credit my account except for any promo codes which I did use. Customer service also sent me an email saying not to contact them over the same issue because of how busy they are. So, my issue wasn’t taken care of and I was treated terrible. Ecco needs to have a phone number to directly talk to someone and treat their customers with respect and kindness. I’ve been an Ecco customer for a while but I will find a different brand to purchase in the future.

I have been a loyal customer for ECCO shoes for last 15+ years.
I bought several pairs over last couple of years. The shoes were bought from NORDSTORM AND AMAZON.
The new shoes were in house closet .
All pairs THE SOLES have been falling off without even wearing for one or two times.
The quality is terrible and quality has gone down to the point where it is junk.

Purchased a pair of Ecco Neoflexor shoes a few years back and added them to my stable, very stylish, comfortable shoes. Only wore them a few times a year as I rotate through many different shoes. Fast forward to January 2023, company Christmas party. I wanted a smart casual dress shoe to wear and these Neoflexors fit the bill. An hour into the event I notice black, powdery chunks, all over the event center floor. I wondered to myself what the mess could be. Imagine my surprise when I see the black stuff under our table and realize that it is my shoe soles (both) disintegrating under my feet. I googled "Ecco shoe disintegrating" hoping for a result and low and behold, search result after search result showed up with what I found to be, a very common problem with many Ecco mens dress shoes.
I called Ecco the following Monday and was informed that the problem I experienced is called hydrolysis, a known defect to Ecco. To their credit, they sent me a UPS prepaid label to send my shoes back for inspection and replacement. Four weeks later I receive an email stating that the shoes are covered under warranty but as the style was discontinued, the refund credit was for $100, much less than what I paid and requiring additional funds to replace with something new.
I called support again to complain that the replacements I was promised made no mention of paying additional money for a new pair. The rep I spoke with informed me that this was company policy for discontinued shoes, even if they still looked new. She also informed me that I would need to wear my replacements ASAP and often as the hydrolysis problem may occur again over time. I have several pairs of dress shoes (different brands) that are nearly 20 years old and "hydrolysis" has never been a problem. Apparently, Ecco has not fixed their well known defect.
For me, a disappointing experience all around. Ecco dress shoes look great and are comfortable, but, will they fall apart? I won't pay twice to find out.
