5/19/2025- I was notified that the school is refusing to certify a graduate plus loan on my account which is not a practice that is applied to all students in similar scenarios. My loan history is being reviewed to include a parent plus loan that I was required to take out for my child to attend college.Despite following the schools written policy and procedures regarding the graduate plus loan they are making a determination that I will not be able to repay my student loan debt which is clearly a discriminatory practice. As the student loans are in deferment while I am attending school, and then I will be provided a ***** period before selecting a repayment option, all of which occur upon graduation. The school has prematurely developed a negative opinion of me and are refusing to certify loans that I am eligible for based upon this.

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as ************************************** has not attempted to resolve my complaint. They have acknowledged that it was received but were unable to provide information regarding a written policy that was applied to my account. There are no publications regarding the process that I am being subjected to. The finance representative that emailed me lied about contacting me twice and has yet to formally apologize or offer any explanation for the unnecessary lie. I requested to appeal the decision and requested guidance on the appeal process to which she never responded or acknowledged. If this was truly a university policy that was being applied I should have been directed to the policy immediately when the policy was applied to my account which was not done.
    Sincerely,

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]
The concern is regarding the discriminatory practices that are not in alignment with any publicly disclosed policies. If there is a school policy being followed or enforced then this should be public knowledge. I attached to my complaint the public policies that would pertain to my situation. The issue is that the school did not follow the written policy and instead made a decision against me based upon my demographic information. I have yet to be provided with any actual information regarding the guidelines or parameters that were used in the schools decision to go against the department of education as well as their own written procedures . I requested to appeal the decision and was told I would be provided with instructions to do so which never came. Its been several days with no instruction on appeal and also no criteria regarding why a particular decision was made. I was also never given the opportunity to address any staff members completing the administrative review of my account. These facts are not protected under FERPA. School policy is public knowledge. Where was the policy published and why was it not provided to me as a student?
    Sincerely,

They are running a course MBA 687. There are numerous complaints by students about this course on reddit and grade my professor. The university doesn't seem to be bothered about these complaints. I have been typing complaints late into the morning hours, and it seems they have not even read any of the complaints I was making from the look of things. I don't think anything can be done because it would take millions of dollars to sue them, but I think it's unfair for them to fail students because they didn't fulfill their end of the bargain. Someone told me about this site, and I thought I might just give it a try.

I received a collection notice that I believe is an attempt at extortion, as they are aware of my position in the Armed Forces. They are using the threat to jeopardize my clearance in an effort to coerce me into paying a balance that I do not owe. This is the first communication I have ever received from them. My fees were being covered by TA, bill grants, and money that I had paid out of pocket in the amount of $900. I never received communication on owed balance until today.

Early this year, I submitted my FAFSA 2024 application and approval receipt, and later, on 5/2024, I provided all required financial aid documentation to the school as requested. Despite my efforts to inquire about my award of financial assistance status on 7/18/2024, I received an email from ******************* informing me that I would receive further information about my financial aid package, which as of 9/10/2024, I am still waiting to receive. Despite contacting the office of financial assistance, I have been told that they are working to process my award soon and that the monetary award will be posted on my account by week 5 of the current term. I am currently on week seven, which is approaching its end and no award or explanation of is provided. This delay is causing me significant financial stress, and I urgently need a resolution. Despite my multiple attempts, I have yet to receive any assistance, explanation of the delay, or a plan regarding the balance on my account, which I cannot pay, and the school is aware of this. I am only three classes away from graduating, including the current one; however, without the school being proactive in resolving this issue, I will not be able to register for the last two courses due to financial neglect from the school. Telling me over the phone, "We know you got it, but we haven't awarded you yet," or "we are behind because we have too many students" is unacceptable. This situation has been causing me sleepless nights, unnecessary stress, and discouragement. I am deeply concerned about my ability to complete the last two classes and graduate due to the inadequate services provided by SNHU ****************** for graduate students and the untimely posting of financial aid awards and disbursements. This situation is not only causing me financial stress but also jeopardizing my academic journey.

Upon careful review of the business's response to complaint ID ********, I find the resolution adequate. However, as a current candidate for a Master's degree with only two classes remaining for completion, I find the explanation offered for the mishmash regarding my Financial Award - erroneous enrollment as an undergraduate student to be unacceptable. I kindly request the closure of this case and intend to retain all relevant documentation for future reference.

I was told by an advisor that I could make up my coursework due to illness and hospitalization up to the end of the course. Even though the policy is to not grade late work that is over a week late. I was told I was getting an exception, to submit documents, and that I was hospitalized so I would be ok. The advisor ********, the one assigned to me, seems to think that I've been active in the class the entire semester which is wrong and shows how little they pay attention or know their own systems. She is using the gradebook to determine that. BUT she is not focusing on the fact that my work is being submitted late for the quizzes and chapter lessons. Which grade themselves automatically. It's an interactive textbook that lets you do your work and grades for you. It places the grades automatically into the system. It doesn't show submission dates on those.

Southern New Hampshire University promises a supportive education, which implies supportive professors. Unfortunately, during my last term, ending December 2023, I was paired with a horrible professor that had many biases to her own interests and cared little about her students and their work, delivering copy-and-pasted form feedback. Because I was appalled at her behavior, I looked at her rate my professor page, and many other past students shared my sentiment. I submitted a formal complaint against this professor, and no corrective action was taken to either correct this professors behavior, relieve students of her poor instruction, or remedy my poor education under her. Attached is one of her responses to me when I asked for specific feedback, rather than vague and contradictory, wherein she openly admitted to providing all of her students with the same feedback indiscriminately. A few months have passed, and my friend I met through SNHU has had the displeasure to be placed in one of her classes. Attached are three instances in which the professor provided word-for-word identical feedback for our two very different works (an excerpt from original long-form prose). This is proof enough that the problem lies with SNHU, as they have been given notice of this behavior, yet care little about the quality of their instructors instruction and allow it to continue. They care more about their profit than the quality of their education. I do not believe this school should be accredited to teach while it allows appalling professors such as this to continue working for them and allowing their hundreds of thousands of online students like me have subpar instruction and thus, an unsubstantial education.I am requesting a full refund of the class I was forced to take under this professor, as I received nothing of value from her course, which completely contradicts the schools mission, yet the school did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation.
