I contacted this credit agency numerous after they contacted about accounts that were fraudgently opened in my name .i have hungup on numerous called liar hollered screamed at . This all began because someone opened a account in south royalton vt in my name . I was incarcrated and could prove i was and had no knoledge of . Never lived in that area before or after i sent all paperwork to green mountain power . And they contacted credit agency and notified these were not my acccounts .to remove them they removed one then theyrs still 1 left so i called today glt hollered screamed called a liar i tried explain i was incarcrated i was thats none of their buisness and they didnt care and hung up on . I called the light company and they informed the account they are trying to say say is mine is not it is from another gentlemen with differnt social security number they do know how this agency is even connecti g to me its not the same social its differnt gentleman this company has and is very unproffesional hollering at me calling me a liar and not looking into fraudulent accounts tell me they dont care theyr mine and they are not .Customer Answer

I also wanted to make aware that i am mentally disabled and tried to make this compant aware and they said they didnt carw . I told them that i didnt make these charges and was told we dont care its none of our buisness.i have proof that i couldnt have made thsese charges and they refused to view . The account was received from Green Mountain power on 1/10/25 with phone no and social that matched prior address and current address. This account has been cancelled in our system after speaking with Green Mountain Power on 6/30/25. Without an actual Police Report we were not able to verify this was a case of ** Fraud. We get a lot of debtors stating this is fraud when it is not so without that Police Report we are not able to verify the ** Fraud. It is in the process of being removed from Mr. ******** Credit Report.Customer Answer

My concern is not only having this removed it is the treatment from your employee. I could have sent any and all imformation concerning this being a fraud case but was not given the opprotunity to do so i was called a liar numerous times .i was told i dont care numerous times and told it was none of her buisness. I also tried explain i have mental disabilitys and was laughed and hung up on .told i could eigther pay in full with a credit card or partial or it would be left on my credit score .this all after you were contacted by green mountain power and told to remove from my credit report they told you any and all imformation purtaining to them and me they had your office send .but being vandictive the 171 account was left in collections .you never even told green mountain power about this account being connected to me because you knew it was not ..my real issue is feeling extorted taken advantage of humiluated and taunted from your staff hung up called a liar .i tried to explain i have mental disabilitys and didnt understand and i was i dont care your liar .the fact is i was and. Am avictim of identity fraud thats why green mountain contacted you to remove you removed one but kept one intenially to be vindictive you refused to look at any info proving these wernt my accounts and tried to threaten and pressure me into paying a bill that was mot mine this is a serious issue i asked for help as a victim and was denied and taunted i told your staff i didnt understand and was yelled screamed at i have mental disabilitys i am mentally disabled i asked to speak to supervisors was hung up on the only concern to your **** was grtting paid you didnt care to even take into account i was a victim of identity theft and was mentally disabled..i have ptsd bipolar as well as intermittent explosive anger disorder as well as other diagnoses .so while your employee enjoyed denying me proper assistance she taunted and belittled me this has caused me a great deal of stress i have been dealing with for months not sleeping stressed to max anxiety.being laughed at humilated and dehumanized. I do not have a contract with this company. I have no knowledge of this contract whatsoever. I have never verbally or in writing agreed to anything with this contract . They can not provide me with any documentation binding me to this debt. Please have it removed immediately from my credit report. Ive been trying to build my credit and because of this debt that does not belong to me its making that difficult to do.

On that basis alone this should be removed from my credit report immediately. I personally have never had an account with the this collection company as they admit nor have I ever had one with ***************, the original company to who this debt is owed . If they have any of my personal information, SS number, dob address etc. then the only answer is that someone else used it without my knowledge and thats who needs to answer for the debt. Ive heard and understand that this collection company has a contract with *************** but that contract is between those two parties and doesnt bind anyone who may have a contract with *************** to a debt with another parties . Thats unlawful and on that point alone this collection company has to remove any impact or negative ****s they put on someones credit report that they personally dont have a contract with. But thats not the most important issue here. The main reason why this negative **** needs to be removed from my credit report is the **** that it doesnt nor ever has belonged to me. I know for a fact that the only documentation they can have that binds me to any contact with *************** is information that they required from a third party and not directly from me. I have never had any accounts with ***************. Therefore me contacting this collection company doesnt matter because the fact that its not my personal account they have zero legitimate documentation that binds me to the account and they know they dont . Lets stop trying to make ***** pay for Pauls debts and do the right thing and remove it from my credit report immediately. Then go find whoever it is that you allowed to steal my identity . This has cost me enough already and Ive been very patient but I have contacted legal representation and if this isnt resolved immediately I will be forced to go that route

Money owed to Radiology of ***** was remitted to them directly from insurance company UNHC. I attempted to explain this to Credit Services and was belittled, yelled at and told to pay my bill refused to provide me with someone else to speak to. Hung up on multiple times. I am sorry for the delay in getting back you on this. I had sent over the copies of the payments and they did not have them so they had to research. They did find them but the virtual credit cards had expired. They contacted the maker and they have dropped the payments to a paper check for both the $79.43 and the $19.60. These were created on 8/27/24 and they haven't received those checks as yet but they are on their way to the client. Once these checks are received they will notify us of payment. According to our client, the checks will be coming from them as the credit cards were stale that they were given to run. That is complete BS that they are stating the credit card was "stale" and did not complete the payment. If that was true then why was the exact dollar amounts provided extracted from my bank account on 07/24 as I provided you with a copy of my bank statement. They are just making excuses. You chose to pay ******************** of ***** instead of us which is your right. We have had no notice of any payment made by ******************** of *****. After getting your complaint on 8/29/24 we contacted ******************** of ***** who then researched the issue. We then received a response from ******************** of ***** who stated that they did find the Credit Card information and tried to run those cards which were declined because they were stale. They then contacted the insurance company and the were sending them checks in place of those credit cards. They are still waiting for those checks from the issuing company. The charges you sent to me were charges to the issuing company for them to send payment - you will still need to contact them for further information. We have placed your accounts on hold pending notification from ******************** of ***** that these are paid. We cannot mark an account paid without that notification. I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: The card that was rejected as I stated was my FSA card and I was NOT notified that they did not accept the charge as "medical related" was processed in February. the card that i provided successfully payment was processed in JULY - why has it taken almost 2 months for an electronic payment to process? Again, just this company's attempt on getting paid for something they don't deserve for their ill-mannered customer service ***. You don't treat someone you want money from with disrespect and you certainly do NOT call them stupid and not help them when you have other means to look up their account. When someone asks for a manager hand the call off do not hang up ***eatedly then scream pay your bill when it has been paid and the company has emailed me back that they did receive my payment, and I do not have a balance due! Treat people with compassion NO ONE is superior to another, and your *** sure thinks so. I have been dealing with a woman named H**** at New Hampshire Northeast credit services, a collection company. She is trying to collect a debt that my insurance company said I do not owe on and direct billing to me is considered a violation of New Hampshire and Federal Medicaid laws. My Insurance Company tried contacting the original Biller and to no Avail we are stuck talking to the New Hampshire Northeast associate H****. She has been nothing but rude and condescending. When my insurance company contacted her, she was rude to them told them, that she would not stop collections and disconnected their call. I received a letter from my insurance company about a Grievance Resolution stating that I do not owe on this bill and yet this morning I received a phone call from H**** from New Hampshire Northeast credit services about collecting on the debt that my insurance company just told her I did not own. I have read many of reviews on about New Hampshire Northeast and there is a theme with H**** being mentioned as a rude worker and not helpful. I have the assumption that it is a fraud company trying to scam people and something needs to be done. The phone number I have for H**** is 603-821-****. We have contacted our client, ********* ********** of Keene, asked them if they had received this payment. They stated they do not have any record of a payment for service date of 4/7/23 for $72.00. They stated that they will need a copy of a cancelled check/eft that was deposited by their company for proof of payment and they will investigate this payment. We can only take our clients word on payments as we get many, many people stating something has been paid when it has not been. As to the rudeness of our collector - she is stating that she was yelled at and spoken over. We tried to explain to both ******* and the insurance company that we needed proof of payment in order to resolve this issue but have yet to see anything sent to us. Once we receive this information, we will send over to our client for their investigation of this payment. I am confused by this new
finding. We were told by both ******** and her insurance company that
this bill had been paid. Why would they have said this if in fact it was
not? The insurance company actually hung up on us after we asked for
proof of payment. I can now understand why since this account was never
paid and they did not have proof. Not once did they offer us the
insurance information to get this billed properly - if they had we could have
submitted that information instead they stated it was paid. The
account is now over 9 months old, and insurance will not accept this at this time. Our agency will contact ********* Associates

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: I spoke with many representatives from my insurance company and have written documents that New Hampshire Northeast hung up on them. ********* ********** of Keene never submit the bill to my Insurance company. Since the bill for the hospital that ********* ********** of Keene works through was paid, they(********* ********** of Keene) should have also submitted their bill to the same insurance company on file. When I spoke with my insurance company they said the bill from ********* ********** of Keene was never submitted to them. I have had no way of contacting ********* ********** of Keene, all of their contact info is incorrect and when I asked for it from ***** from New Hampshire North East, she said" why would I do that? " in no way had she helped me settle this situation. I had insurance for this bill that was never submitted. If I am contacted by New Hampshire Northeast about this bill again I will look into legal action. Since it is a violation of federal and medicaid laws to do so.

This collection agency, the collector Kathy O***** has been contacting me 2-3x a week starting in mid April for a debt that was settled on 9/28/2022. The company, VT Gas Systems, has confirmed this payment and confirmed numerous calls to the agency confirming the collection is no longer needed. I have lost over 65 points on my credit score for this singular incident.
I told the collection agency VGS would be able to provide the confirmation, but they have continiously contacted me instead and have demanded a credit card payment over the phone and other forms of PII (SSN, address, etc).
Although the collections is fully in the wrong, they have chosen to make no attempt to remediate my negative score.Business Response

We have been speaking with ****** about an account she owes for Green Mountain Power - a totally different company and amount due. We spoke with ****** about the Green Mountain Power Account on 4/12/23 at which time she stated this was paid. We asked her to provide proof of her payment and she stated she would and call us back. She has never been called 3 times a week by our company. We did speak with her again on 6/27/23 when she called our office and we tried to again explain about a Green Mountain Power Account but she would not listen. She then called VT gas and they contacted us again - told them this had been marked paid back in September 2022. If so, I would have provided proof of that too - to the business. Not to your agency.I will contact GMP, but refuse to insecurely provide you financial data. There is no proof that your organization uses any cybersecurity or compliance protocols, even though I asked for that as well when your collector asked for my SSN. The fact that you cannot verify payments or security is reason for worry alone.

3/23/2023: The New Hampshire Northeast Credit Service company has been harassing my siblings in regards to a debt that does not belong to me.
(To note, none of my siblings share my same name and their phone numbers should not be connected to mine in any way, yet they are receiving incorrect debt calls for me)
When I called to ask them to stop contacting me or any of my family members, a woman named Kathy Oliver started asking for information to confirm the account on file.
When I asked what details she had, she said she didn’t see anything and couldn’t provide any information connecting me to the person in question with debt. She also couldn’t confirm which sisters she had contacted and left voicemails for in regards to this debt and was asking me to confirm the information. The encounter was very suspicious given no information could be confirmed.
I believe this company is not legitimate or does not follow appropriate collections protocol and is unnecessarily harassing individuals and their family without validation.Business Response

We received this account on 1/20/23 with a service address of *** ***** *** *********** **. The phone number was arrived by looking up that address, name in the credit bureau data base. We called that number and left a message - no id was on the voice mail on 3/8/23 and 3/14/23. On 3/14/23 a female called back and stated we have been leaving messages for ******* ***** on that number and that there was no ******* ***** there. We immediately removed that number from the account. We did not know who the caller was as they would not disclose their name or address. We do not call people's relatives. We had not idea that the number we were calling was anybody other than ******* *****. We are not allowed to give out any information if we can't verify who we are speaking with so no information was given.

On 02/27/2023 I received a letter regarding a collections account from Northeast Credit Services in reference to an account with Green Mountain Power in Vermont. This letter stated that if I wanted to dispute the charges I could do so via a letter. I decided to call and ask if I could dispute it over the phone. The person I spoke with told me I could not dispute the charge.
I also received a letter on 3/13/2023 so I called them again to try and dispute it and I was told the same thing as last time, that I could not dispute the charges and that I HAD to pay it.
By law, I have the right to dispute a charge and I've never heard of a collections agency telling someone they can't or that they HAVE to pay something.Business Response

Our office received an account from our client on 2/21/23 for Mr. ******. He called our office on 3/1/23 and stated that he wasn't living at this address and had moved out in August. We told him that the client keeps all recordings of calls and we could find out when he called and cancelled his service. He stated he didn't care as he wasn't going to pay this anyways. We did contact our client on this account. They researched this and dated that they did not have any record of Mr. ****** calling in and cancelling his service. His service was cancelled when somebody new moved in and requested service. Mr. ****** called our office again on 3/22/23 and stated he wanted to dispute the charges. We gave him the information that was given to us from our client and advised us he was not going to pay this bill. All disputes need to be sent to our office in writing so that we can keep it on file. We are more than willing to set up payment arrangements for however much he can afford to pay monthly on this account. If we receive a letter from him we can mark his account as disputed and it will show up on his credit report as a disputed item. We are not sure what else can be done on this account. All due diligence has been done for him to determine if this billing was correct by our client. this account was put into temporary dispute virbual until we receive the request in writing but don't see that he has a valid dispute.Customer Answer

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: The first time I called I never once stated that “I didn’t care and wasn’t paying it anyways”. The representative for the company I spoke with, Kathy, was rude and unprofessional and told me both times that I could not dispute the account whether I sent it in writing or tried disputing it over the phone. At that point, I stated I wasn’t paying it as the company not canceling my electric account wasn’t my responsibility as they were called in regards to me moving out so the account could be canceled. The call may not have been made by myself however, either the landlord called or someone else called on my behalf to cancel the account, either way someone called and canceled it. Hence the reasoning they may not have a “recorded” call from me directly.At this point, if Northeast credit services wants to lie and make up statement, I never made to try and cover up their rude and unprofessional employees, I have been in contact with a lawyer regarding the issue. If they don’t want to allow me to dispute the account like I have tried to twice, I will take legal action and then that way they can have a “record” for their “file” that I disputed it.
If the company is incapable of typing up some type of report, which it would surprise me since their staff seems lazy and unwilling to do their jobs, that’s not my problem. It’s easy to type in a comment on the account that the account is being disputed, print it, and out it in your “file”.
I’ve never heard of a collections company not allowing someone to dispute a charge(s). Maybe you should hire staff that isn’t rude and more willing to do their job.

I am very sorry that Mr. ****** is not happy with our company. We have never told him that he could not dispute this account. I have marked his account as disputed verbally in our system. It is up to Mr. ****** to send our company a letter explaining his dispute in detail. Green Mountain Power has looked through their calls and informed our office that this service was never cancelled. If Mr. ****** would like to include who made the call, when the call was made and mail it with his dispute to our office, we would be more than happy to look further into this account. He may send his written dispute to our office at ** *** **** ******* **. Also, if he does not want any correspondence from us please include this in writting to our office along with your dispute and all letters and calls will stop. To date, we have not called him at all and have sent him 2 letters. We are more than willing to work with him but can't do that without some information from him.Customer Answer
